Tasamuh dengan nomor registrasi ISSN 1829-6483 (Cetak) dan ISSN 2614-1736 (Online), merupakan jurnal peer-reviewed dan merupakan jurnal open access yang diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni - Desember) oleh Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Studi, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram. Tasamuh merupakan laporan hasil penelitian bidang dakwah, politik, media komunikasi, model dakwah Islam. Tasamuh mengundang naskah-naskah tentang berbagai topik termasuk, namun tidak terbatas pada, dakwah, politik, strategi dan model dakwah, manajemen dakwah dan etika politik. Tasamuh bekerjasama dengan Asosiasi Profesi DAKWAH INDONESIA (APDI), Asosiasi Pengelola JURNAL ILMU DAKWAH (PPJID). Tujuan Tasamuh: Jurnal Komunikasi Islam dan Pengembangan Masyarakat adalah untuk mempromosikan diseminasi luas hasil-hasil penyelidikan ilmiah yang sistematis ke dalam bidang penelitian bisnis yang luas. Tasamuh dimaksudkan untuk menjadi jurnal penerbitan artikel yang melaporkan hasil penelitian tentang bisnis. Abstract

Islamic politics involves contest and competition of interpretation about symbol as control for institution, both formal and informal which depends the symbol. Interpretation about these symbols is influenced by different background because political system in Muslim world or everywhere cannot avoid competition management, so it is always identical with interest. In 1924 AD, institution of Khalifah Islamiyah was removed because in this period religion was truly placed in individual zone, without any intervention from country. Finally Muslims lost their religionpolitics and geo-politics identity, Muslim countries then changed into nation-state model in one nation and one stateknown by secularism and created various kinds of thoughts informulating state principle. Secularism in this meaning is separation between religion and government system. Karl Mark states: first, religion becomes medium of transcendental justification for status quo, by using religion, economical system does not get protest. Second, religion also emphasizes to the transcendental world as fate which must be received by patience, and also must believe about life after death; religion helps to change human attention about physical and material difficulties, as a consequence from secular political modernization, those statements response Muslim reformer figure like: Muhammad Ali Pasya, Jamaludin al-Afgani, Muhammad Abduh, and Rasyid Rida.

Abstract

Leadership is a process to influence other people and effort to call people to do goodness and forbid people to do badness. In Islamic context, leadership is realization of faithand good deeds. Leadership also cannot be separated from a leader because a leader is an expert in social organization who is expected to use his/her influence in doing vision and mission of an organization. Finding of this paper is that the figure of the most ideal leader in this world is the messenger (Rasullullah) SAW because he always started to lead himself, to lead his words so he never spoke anything but the truth, beautiful words, and full of meaning. The messenger also leaded his lust, desire, family withthe best way because the messenger always adhered to the rules which were established by Allah SWT so he could lead the community in the best way. In Islam it has been set criteria for a leader, such as: faith, good deeds, having sincere intention, male, do not ask position, adhering to the law of Allah, judge justly, advisingthe people, do not accept gifts, having firm and gentle character,and also having STAF characters (truth, delivering messages/sermon, mandate, and wise). The leader also should has balances between worlds and hereafter based on the criteria mentioned aboveas criteria of leader based on al-Qur’an and as-Sunnah and also asleadership type with a wide perspective about the world and hereafter.

Abstract

In this paper, the writer would like to investigatepsychology and mass communication which empty into values of social life both individual and group in communication. Human is truly social creature because, since borne, human needs intercourse with other people to fulfill biological needs, such as: eatingand drinking. Then process of human effort to know various kinds of stimulus or information comes to his/her senses, saves, connects, analyses, and solves the problems based on the stimulus or information, so psychology long time ago analyzed effect of mass communication in behavior of message receiver.

Abstract

Islamic militant group is arguably followed by laymen circle is. Change of movementis condusted by this group. This group tries to gain support from university students as a new agent which is assumed by this group to be able to change movementpattern. Spreading of Islamic radical group in the area of student is not apart from striving for caderization of intllectual group in Islamic fundamentalist circle. This strategy is an indoctrination of ideology which caused student feels difficult to cut his relation to this group. This phenomenon finally forms a new metamorphosis to a new Islamic radical movement in campus.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an has been sent down to give guidance to people toward the bright goal and straight way by maintaining origin of life which is based on faith in Allah and his treatise. Al-Qur’an also tells the past story, events happen now and information will happen in future. Most of contains of al-Qur’an firstly were sent down to general purposes but life of disciple of the messenger saw many historical events and sometimes special events happened to them and needed the explanation from law of Allah or thatlaw was still unclear for them, and then they asked to the messenger to know the Islamic law about that thing. So, al-Qur’an sent down to the special events or to the questions appeared. It almost become axiomatic argumentation that thereis no text, anything the form, which come to empty room. It is always related to the event therefore the text is always complex. Activity of alQur’an interpretation is an activity to see and examine validity of a text for human life, especially for Islamic people. As we know that text is not always relevant, it always must beused or thought with reality or with interest; no matter what form and here alQur’an text will become “live”.

Abstract

The discourse of the da’wah method in the framework of Southeast Asian regionalism is a matter purely in contact with the reasoning of mad'u life, the fulfilment of the essential elements of life (zimam al-hayah). Context restores the idea of Muslims passing into the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) which began to be applied gradually since 2015 with the motto of one vision, one identity and one community, becoming the embryo of the construction of Hudaibiyah international communication model for the first time. The main idea of the construction of the international communication model of this Hudaibiyah Treaty which is a representation of the necessity of syumuliyyat al-Islam is wus'ah maidan al-da'wah (an expanding dakwah field). Abstract

The behavior of domestic violence is a tendency of behavior that is not in accordance with human nature and not in accordance with Islamic teachings. The causes of domestic violence can be classified into two factors, internal and external factors. Internal factors concerning the personality of the perpetrators of violence that makes it very easy to commit violence when faced with situations that cause anger or frustration. External factors are factors outside the abuser's self. For example economic difficulties, infidelity husband or wife, child and so forth. To minimize cases of domestic violence, the da'wah perpetrators promoted counselling of community-based da'wah, for example by promoting education on human rights and women's empowerment, and to socialize gender equality. Equally important is to build a mosque-based community economy and empower the work ethic of Muslims. This can be done through majlis taklim or other studies. Other efforts that can be done are preventive, educative, curative and rehabilitative

Abstract

The President formally issued Perppu No / 02 / Year / 2017 on Community Organizations. Then the Ministry of Law and Human Rights officially freeze the Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) community organization because it is considered against the Pancasila. The impact of the government also directly prohibits all activities related to HTI. Kemendagri forbids all Civil Servants (PNS) to become HTI members, otherwise, their status as civil servants will be revoked. Even had also circulated a list of names of HTI members who served as civil servants of the State (ASN). This study aims to see the patterns of communication made by HTI members of Mataram city after the publication of Perppu No / 02 / Tahun / 2017 and freezing of HTI SK by Kemenkumham. The results of this study indicate that the HTI of Mataram responded to the release of Perppu no / 02/2017 and HTI freezing in several ways, including no longer using HTI identity when conveying the idea of Khilafah, abolishing the name of HTI in weekly bulletins dispersed in mosques but still explore the idea of Khilafah.

Abstract

Da'wah orientation is not centered on the interests of da'I, but the need of mad'u. Mad'u has diverse expectations of da'i ranging from the selection of da'wah methods, material submitted and media used. It thus requires da'i to have internal and external provisions. Internal provision can be the ability to communicate, self-control, and knowledge. The external provision refers to the ability of da'i to read the psychological condition of mad'u and the environment of da'wah. Thus, da'i can determine a wise, empathetic, sympathetic and humanist approach of da'wah. In the principle of communication is known by the rules of dependency relationship. On the one hand da'i has the right to speak and on the other hand mad'u has the right to hear. The right to talk da'i must be accompanied by the obligation to listen to mad'u and the right to hear mad'u should be accompanied by the appreciation of the message of da'i preaching. This study will explore relation credibility of da’i and mad’u needs into reach goal of dakwa descriptive with the "tools" analysis of Jude Burgoon Theory.

Abstract

The Krame Banjar has lost its place since independence in 1945 until the reform of 1998. The change of authority model that started from the charismatic authority (master teacher), traditional (traditional leader) to the rational-legal authority (government) made the Krame banjar metamorphose into village meetings (MUSDUS), village deliberation (MUSDES) led directly to the ruling village (legal-formal). The generations of Krame Banjar have been replaced by the formal legal generation which in fact, when deliberate it is not uncommon to expect the village budget (ADD) to move, unlike the banjar Krame based on kinship among banjars. Krame Banjar in West Lombok became an arena in revitalizing the discourse of radicalism that developments both locally and nationally. This paper will explain Krame Banjar as the early information system for the successor to ward off the current discourse of radicalism
