Abstract

Pests have long been a problem for farmers in the pre-harvest period. So with that, the author has the idea to make an Arduino-based automatic bird repellent using a PIR sensor. Because according to the author's assumption they only need to put this tool in the field, which will later be connected to an Arduino circuit that uses a PIR sensor as an input intermediary. Later the sensor will send a signal to the servo if the sensor detects an intruder who enters the rice field area. Then the intruder, which is a sparrow, will be surprised or scared because of the movement made by the servo. And the birds will fly away from the rice plants. So the conclusion of all the projects made is to meet the specifications that have been planned by the author in terms of Software and Hardware.

Abstract

Parent is the closest people to their children and who have the most influence on their children's education. There are five factors that influence the roles of parents, include of parents educational background, parents types of work, parents economic level, available time and the number of family members. This research conducted by quantitative which use a correlation analysis approach and aims to determine the relationship between students family condition variables X class MAUWH Tambakberas Jombang. The data collection in this study use a questionnaire by taken 60 students in X class from three class which are MIPA 2, IIS 2 and AGAMA 2 as the respondents. Based on the results of the study, the results of the validity test and reliability test for the questionnaire were valid and reliable. For the correlation test between variables, it is known that all the variables has a correlation and the significant can be proven by the value of r count > r table. It was concluded that the factors of parents' educational background, type of parent's occupation, parents' economic level, available time and number of family members were the family conditions that influenced the role of the parents students X class MAUWH Jombang.

Abstract

The need for wheat flour in Indonesia is increasing along with the increasing types of processed flour. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate concentration of yellow sweet potato and soybean flour in order to obtain the putu ayu cake with good and favorable properties. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a comparison of the concentrations of wheat flour, yellow sweet potato, and soybean which consisted of four treatments, namely K (100%: 0%: 0%), L (50%: 40%: 10%), M (50%:45%:5%), and N (50%:35%:15%). Each treatment has a total flour weight of 250 grams. Data collection used a 15 panelist questionnaire method with 3 replications for each sample. Furthermore, scoring and analysis using ANOVA with further test BNT level 5%. The results showed that putu ayu cake in treatment M had a rather attractive color, delicious aroma, soft texture, and a slightly sweet savory taste, compared to treatment L which had a rather attractive color, delicious aroma, soft texture, and slightly sweet taste. The color N treatment is rather attractive, the aroma is rather pleasant, the texture is slightly rough, and the taste is slightly savory - slightly sweet. The best and preferred substitution of yellow sweet potato flour and soybean flour is treatment concentration M (45%:5%).

Abstract

Tanah merupakan salah satu media tumbuh yang biasanya digunakan dalam budidaya pertanian. merupakan salah satu faktor lingkungan yang tanah memiliki berbagai sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi. Sifat fisik tanah terdiri dari tekstur dan struktur. Tekstur tanah terdiri dari ukuran fraksi pasir, debu, dan liat. Tekstur tanah mempengaruhi kemampuan tanah dalam menahan air dan juga pertumbuhan akar tanaman. Tanah yang baik harus mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro esensial, bahan organik, kapasitas pertukaran kation, dan pH tanah yang sesuai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik tanah pertanian di Dusun Banjarsari, Kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo, Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada Desember 2021. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah di Desa Banjarsari, Bandarkedungmulyo, Jombang, Jawa Timur dan laboratoriun Fakultas Pertanian Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanah di lokasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memiliki porositas rendah, sedang, hingga tinggi. Tanah dengan porositas tinggi terdapat pada horizon III. Kapasitas pertukaran kation tertinggi juga terdapat pada horizon III. Aerasi tanah yang baik akan dipengaruhi oleh tingginya porositas tanah. Pada horizon I tanah memiliki porositas rendah karena banyak mengandung fraksi lempung, sehingga lebih sesuai untuk pertumbuhan akar tanaman.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa pendapatan usahatani padi dengan sistem tanam Rice transplanter dan Konvensional musim tanam 1 di Desa Sebani Kecamatan Sumobito Kabupaten Jombang.penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan juni 2021 di Desa Sebani Kecamatan Sumobito Kabupaten Jombang. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah petani padi yang menggunakan mesin tanam padi (Rice transplanter) dengan jumlah petani sebanyak 10 petani dan petani padi konvensional sebanyak 10 petani. Petani sampel ditempat penelian diambil sebanyak 10 petani dikarenakan hanya ada 23 petani padi di daerah penelitian, dan petani yang menggunakan mesin tanam padi (Rice transplanter) berjumlah 10 orang dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan petani dengan sistem tanam (Rice transplanter) adalah sebesar Rp. 7.051.837,- sedangkan petani konvensional sebesar Rp. 10.720.919,-. Besarnya R/C Ratio petani padi dengan (Rice transplanter) sebesar 1,12 sedangkan petani konvensional sebesar 1,13. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis dari perhitungan B/C Ratio diperoleh tingkat kelayakan usahatani padi di Desa Sebani tahun 2021 petani padi dengan (Rice transplanter) sebesar 0,12 sedangkan petani konvensional sebesar 0,13.

Abstract

This study provides information about the diversity of pests and predators on organic and non-organic in soybean plantations. This is expected as part of supporting the increase in soybean production in East Java. The diversity of pests and predators are not only influenced by organic or non-organic farming systems, but also on the types of plants being cultivated. Climate also affects the presence of pests and predators. Soybean plants which are included in subtropical plants, when cultivated in a tropical climate, their growth and development are strongly influenced by the tropical climate, which will have an impact on plant resistance to pest attacks. Predators are affected by the presence of pest attacks on their host plants. Meanwhile, the attraction of predators to come to the host plant can be caused by the emergence of volatile compounds released from the saliva of insect pests and also the interaction between these compounds and those released by plants when attacked by pests.
