Abstract

Pemanfaatan olahan buah jeruk nipis, perlu dilakukan mengingat ketersediaan bahan tersebut di Desa Banjarsari Kabupaten Jombang berlimpah. Oleh karena itu melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, dilaksanakan optimalisasi pemanfaatan hasil komoditi unggulan melalui pelatihan olahan jeruk nipis di wilayah Desa Banjarsari. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang pengolahan hasil pertanian khususnya olahan buah jeruk nipis, dan meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk lebih giat mengembangkan produk inovasi desa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan 15 – 30 Oktober 2020, sebagai bagian dari sosialisasi . Mitra pada kegiatan tersebut adalah ibu-ibu PKK yang berpotensi sebagai perantara antara tim narasumber dengan masyarakat desa dalam implementasi pengetahuan dan teknologi tepat guna pengolahan hasil pertanian. Tim narasumber adalah dosen Fakultas Pertanian dan instruktur kegiatan mahasiswa Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. Peserta berjumlah 20 orang, dengan mengikuti kegiatan yang dilaksanakan terbagi 2 bagian, dengan metode pendekatan ceramah, diskusi, dan pelatihan. Kegiatan pertama diawali pre test, ceramah yang diikuti dengan diskusi dan diakhiri post test. Materi yang diberikan adalah budidaya dan manfaat jeruk nipis. Materi pelatihan berupa praktik pengolahan pasca panen jeruk nipis yaitu pembuatan sari jeruk nipis dan lilin aroma terapi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan tersebut diketahui peserta pelatihan yang menjawab benar mengalami kenaikan sebesar 27 % tentang tanaman jeruk nipis dan pemanfaatannya secara luas setelah diberi materi pelatihan. Persentase tingkat kepuasan dari kegiatan tersebut masing-masing 76% sangat puas, 15% puas, 9% kurang puas. Pelatihan tersebut mampu menambah wawasan, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pemanfaatan jeruk nipis pada ibu-ibu PKK Desa Banjarsari dan menumbuhkan semangat berinovasi membuat produk olahan jeruk nipis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of manure application on the growth of consumption spinach (Amaranthus sp). The research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah in December 2022 to March 2023. The manure used in this study included cow manure, goat manure and chicken manure. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were PK0 (control without adding fertilizer), PK1 (adding cow manure), PK2 (adding goat manure), and PK3 (adding chicken manure). The research data were analyzed using the F test at the 5% level and continued with the BNT test at the 5% level. The results showed that the addition of manure from the waste raw materials of the three types of manure affected plant height, number and leaf area of consumption spinach plants better than the control. Manure as raw material for goat manure had significant plant height (21.25 cm), number of leaves (8.33), and leaf area (3.72 cm2) compared to the other 3 treatments. Keywords: manure, growth, consumption of spinach

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving three types of manure on the growth of spinach (Amaranthus sp). The research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah from December 2022 to March 2023. The material used was pulled spinach seeds (Amaranthus tricolor L.) Panah Merah’s brand is produced by P.T. East West Seed Indonesia, processed organic fertilizer made from cows of Faculty of Agriculture, University of KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah (PK1), goats obtained from P4S Bengkel Mimpi Malang (PK2), and chickens from processed livestock products (PK3). After 30 days of planting, it was found that the addition of manure from three types of ruminant waste had a better effect on plant height, number and leaf area of spinach than the control. Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the effect of adding sugar and flavoring at different shelf lives on the organoleptic characteristics of local varieties of soybean juice. The research was carried out from November 2023 to January 2024 in Brangkal Village, Jombang Regency and the Faculty of Agriculture KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah University. The treatment used are ; 1) B0J1 = soybean juice stored 1 hour after cooking, 2) B0J6 = soybean juice stored 6 hours after cooking, 3) B1J1 = soybean juice + granulated sugar stored 1 hour, 4) B1J6 = soybean juice + granulated sugar stored 6 hours after cooking, 5) B2J1 = soybean juice + strawberry flavoring, storage 1 hour after cooking, and B2J6 = soybean juice + strawberry flavoring, storage 6 hours after cooking. This research used an experimental method with a completely randomized design with one factor which was repeated three times. The sample in this study was soybean juice which was used in hedonic tests and the shelf life of it with 15 panelists. Data analysis used ANOVA with a further BNT test at the 5% level. It is known that the color of soybean juice and granulated sugar stored 6 hours after cooking was more favorable compared to the other 7 treatments. Soybean juice without added sugar or flavorings, with storage 1 and 6 hours after cooking, and soybean juice and sugar with storage 6 hours after cooking had the most favorable taste compared to the other 5 treatments

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the warehouse pest type bruchus that attacks green bean commodities in storage areas at the Kolakan market in Jombang Regency. The research period began in May - September 2023, located at the Agricultural Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, KH University. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang. Mung bean seed samples were taken from the storage warehouse at the Kolakan Market in Jombang Regency. The research method used is the descriptive method used to identify warehouse pests that attack green bean seeds. While this type of research is qualitative. It is known that Callosobruchus maculatus is a warehouse pest that can complete its life cycle actively in green bean storage areas. Its distribution is higher in food ingredients in storage areas. This is expected to be used as a teaching medium in the identification of warehouse pest morphology in the practical of Plant Protection. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis kemasan dan lama penyimpanan terhadap karakteristik keripik pisang kepok. Adapun parameter yang dianalisis adalah kadar air, tingkat kerenyahan, dan ketengikan keripik pisang kepok yang diuji. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor, yaitu jenis kemasan (K) terdiri dari LDPE 6 gr (K1), alumunium foil (K2), kaleng logam (K3), plastik kontrol (K4) dan lama penyimpanan (L) terdiri dari 2 minggu (L1), 4 minggu (L2), dan 6 minggu (L3). Masing-masing perlakuan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara pengaruh jenis kemasan dan lama penyimpanan terhadap kadar air tingkat kerenyahan, dan ketengikan keripik pisang kepok yang diuji. Jenis kemasan alumunium foil dan kemasan kaleng dengan lama penyimpanan 2 minggu merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik dalam menjaga kadar air keripik pisang kepok dengan tidak ada penambahan massa air (0,00) dan mampu menekan kerenyahan dan ketengikan dengan skor masing – masing 5.

Abstract

The purpose of the research, to determine the effect of cow manure and urea fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The research was carried out in Tambar Village, Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency, from December 2017 to February 2018. The research method was carried out using a 2 X 3 factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design. the results of the study were analyzed using variance at 5% level. If there is a real difference then the LSD test at the level of 5% if it is significantly different. The first factor is the use of organic fertilizer consisting of 2 levels / levels, namely: K0: Without cow manure, K1: with cow manure with a dose of 3 tons / ha = 333.3 grams / plant, the second factor is inorganic fertilizer which is divided into 3 level / level, namely: P1: Urea fertilizer 5 kg / ha = 0.833 gram / plant P2: Urea fertilizer 15 kg / ha = 2.5 gram / plant P3: Urea fertilizer 25 kg / ha = 4.2 gram / plant. The results of observations of cow manure and urea fertilizer showed no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stems, and wet weight of cob cobs.

Abstract

The need for wheat flour in Indonesia is increasing along with the increasing types of processed flour. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate concentration of yellow sweet potato and soybean flour in order to obtain the putu ayu cake with good and favorable properties. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a comparison of the concentrations of wheat flour, yellow sweet potato, and soybean which consisted of four treatments, namely K (100%: 0%: 0%), L (50%: 40%: 10%), M (50%:45%:5%), and N (50%:35%:15%). Each treatment has a total flour weight of 250 grams. Data collection used a 15 panelist questionnaire method with 3 replications for each sample. Furthermore, scoring and analysis using ANOVA with further test BNT level 5%. The results showed that putu ayu cake in treatment M had a rather attractive color, delicious aroma, soft texture, and a slightly sweet savory taste, compared to treatment L which had a rather attractive color, delicious aroma, soft texture, and slightly sweet taste. The color N treatment is rather attractive, the aroma is rather pleasant, the texture is slightly rough, and the taste is slightly savory - slightly sweet. The best and preferred substitution of yellow sweet potato flour and soybean flour is treatment concentration M (45%:5%).

Abstract

This study provides information about the diversity of pests and predators on organic and non-organic in soybean plantations. This is expected as part of supporting the increase in soybean production in East Java. The diversity of pests and predators are not only influenced by organic or non-organic farming systems, but also on the types of plants being cultivated. Climate also affects the presence of pests and predators. Soybean plants which are included in subtropical plants, when cultivated in a tropical climate, their growth and development are strongly influenced by the tropical climate, which will have an impact on plant resistance to pest attacks. Predators are affected by the presence of pest attacks on their host plants. Meanwhile, the attraction of predators to come to the host plant can be caused by the emergence of volatile compounds released from the saliva of insect pests and also the interaction between these compounds and those released by plants when attacked by pests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat lunak Learning Content Management System (LCMS) berbasis website menggunakan framework Laravel versi 8 dan database MySQL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (research & development) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pengembangan, uji coba, dan evaluasi aplikasi LCMS yang telah dikembangkan. Kualitas perangkat lunak diukur menggunakan metode McCall, dengan fokus pada lima faktor kelayakan perangkat lunak: correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, dan usability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi web yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran online berupa video dan kuis. Kualitas aplikasi mencapai persentase 66%, dikategorikan sebagai baik. Rincian persentase setiap faktor kelayakan adalah sebagai berikut: correctness (71% baik), reliability (71% baik), efficiency (37% kurang baik), integrity (51% cukup baik), dan usability (49% cukup baik). Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem LCMS dan memberikan wawasan mengenai kualitas perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel.
