Abstract

Mahogany tree nurseries or similar tree nurseries require a long process to develop in the furniture industry. The management system used so far is still done manually, namely using some bookkeeping and even imagining the process of growing the tree. Farmers who breed selectively felled trees such as mahogany trees really need an information system that supports systematic and easy data processing. For this reason, the author is trying to make a Final Project using a web-based system regarding processing nursery data, which until now has not been computerized. This web-based system was written to simplify the process of managing nursery data so that the plant process is transferred to make it more effective and efficient in supporting activities. The author designed a web-based sales application information system using the PHP, HTML and JavaScript programming languages. The method used in designing software for sales applications is the waterfall method, data collection techniques, observations and interviews. This information system design is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company. A computerized system is better than a conventional system, because a computerized system can run more safely than the system used previously.

Abstract

Snake fruit is a horticultural plant that has many enthusiasts and cultivators in Indonesia. There are many varieties and post-harvest storage methods for snake fruit. This research used 3 varieties of snake fruit, namely pondoh snake fruit, bali snake fruit, and keras snake fruit, which were stored at room temperature. The research method uses descriptive analysis to draw conclusions regarding important points in the research. This research shows that when storing 3 varieties of snake fruit at room temperature, the condition of the snake fruit skin has a big impact on shelf life, because thicker snake fruit skin is more susceptible to physical damage and fungal or bacterial infections. The results of this research bali snake fruit show that it has the longest shelf life at room temperature, around 12 days until spoilage, pondoh snake fruit 9 days, and keras snake fruit 6 days. This is because bali snake fruit has thicker skin than the other two snake fruit.

Abstract

Enhancing maize plant growth can be achieved through the application of biofertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, and the use of appropriate cultivars. This study aimed to examine the effect of different dosage combinations of biofertilizers and inorganic fertilizers, as well as cultivar selection, on improving maize plant growth. The research was conducted from June to September 2024, in Sambirejo Village, Jogoroto Sub-district, Jombang Regency, at an altitude of 40 meters above sea level. The method used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two factors: combinations of biofertilizer and inorganic fertilizer doses (P), and maize cultivars (K), with 3 repetitions. Observations included stem diameter, leaf area, and plant growth rate measured at 15, 30, 45, and 60 days after planting (DAP), as well as nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) uptake observed at 60 DAP. The results showed that the use of the ADV Jago cultivar, combined with 100% inorganic fertilizer and 10 ml of biofertilizer (P7), produced the most optimal leaf area at 60 DAP and plant growth rate from 45 to 60 DAP, while the use of the Hibrida P35 cultivar combined with 100% inorganic fertilizer and 10 ml of biofertilizer (P7) increased stem diameter at 15 DAP. The ADV Jago cultivar resulted in the most optimal leaf area at 30 DAP. Lower doses of inorganic fertilizer, 75% and 50%, combined with 10 ml of biofertilizer (P8 and P9) also resulted in stem diameter and leaf area that were not significantly different from the 100% inorganic fertilizer treatment.
