Abstract

Management is a science that regulates the process of utilizing human resources effectively, and is also supported by other sources within the organization to achieve certain goals. To achieve development and progress in an institution, the implementation of human resource management, namely educators and education personnel, is important. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the implementation of the management of teaching and educational staff at Simpson Theological College. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method analysis to find out how the process carried out by the institution in the management of education and education personnel at the Simpson Theological College. The author uses data analysis through observation and interviews. The results of the data will be organized, then it is put together to be managed, the data obtained is then presented in descriptive form. The results of the study indicate: that the management process for educators and education is carried out through; Planning for the recruitment of educators and education personnel, organizing, coaching and developing, promoting and transferring educators and educational staff, then dismissing, compensation and awards for educators and education personnel. So the management is already in the implemented category. However, another explanation, especially the obstacles to funding the recruitment of educators is still lacking, due to human resources in addition to fulfilling the required criteria, as well as the interest and availability of human resources.

Abstract

Internal communication is the key to the sustainability of an organization. Educational Institutions such as schools capable to maintain quality, even in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Quality and grade are largely determined by the work motivation of teachers in the school. This research will examine the implementation of internal communication at GMIM IV Tomohon Elementary School in motivating teacher’s performance so it will remain productive, creative, and innovative in providing teaching and assistance to students, even during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study to determine and understand the implementation of internal communication in increasing the work motivation of teachers at GMIM IV Tomohon Elementary School. This research used is a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with three informants selected by purposive technique. The results showed that the implementation of internal communication at the Tomohon was able to increase teacher’s work motivation even during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher found various communication strategies employed by the principal to create effective vertical and horizontal communication. Group communication and interpersonal communication neither formally and informally can create an atmosphere of mutual assistance in the constraints of work and are open to receive input and suggestions that can increase the motivation of teachers' work.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The quality and presence of human resources plays an important role in developing regional tourism capacity. Manado City has promising prospects to increase competitiveness in the tourism sector, both at the regional and national levels. This study examines and identifies how improving the quality of human resource management can have a significant impact on the quality of regional tourism itself. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a systematic description. The research subject is the State Civil Apparatus of the Manado City Tourism Office. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the success of regional tourism development does not only depend on security and political stability, regional budgets, legal policies, or socialization and promotion, but is also influenced by the carrying capacity and utilization of human resources, especially those engaged in tourism.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to describe how the education and religion of the millennial generation elders in the Tomohon 3 region, describe what causes the election of the millennial generation elders in the Tomohon 3 region with regard to their education and religion. The data in this study were observed and collected through interviews with elders and millennial generation members, after which they were analyzed. It was found that the education of the elders of the millennial generation in the Tomohon 3 region was stratum 1 and stratum 2 and their religion was accustomed to being active in both worship, seminar and leadership training activities within the church. The election of millennial generation elders is due to the idea that when they have good education and religion, they can carry out their duties as elders well too. For this reason, elders can carry out their responsibilities properly with the support of existing members.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This paper presents Paul's leadership in ministry and Paul's writings as the hope of becoming a goal or starting point for Christian leaders in the church or in various institutions. The methodology or approach used in this paper uses a library method or approach, while data collection is carried out by reviewing and exploring several books or other information deemed relevant to the study. The finding in this study is to look at the basic principles of leadership According to Paul, servant leadership, leadership is self-presentation, a source of leadership authority, so that the attitude of the leader and the requirements to be a leader can create leaders with Christian characteristics who make Christ an example and role model.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The 2013 Curriculum is expected to produce Indonesian people who we inspire together. Therefore, this article explores the human idea contained in the Kurikulum 2013. This can be achieved by using an approach to human philosophy from Jean Jacques Rousseau with methodical elements of interpretation, internal coherence, description and reflection. Based on the analysis that has been done, there are several things that can be concluded from the results of the study. First, 2013 Curriculum which is based on character and creativity is an attempt to take responsibility for oneself in freedom. Second, efforts to develop students' character and creativity must be in the context of fighting for the "general will". Third, creativity or good self-character will create the common good.
