<![CDATA[Speech act is a speech in which there is action. By saying something, the speakers also do something. By telling a speech, the speaker has a goal to be achieved from the partner that people speak with. To translate what was said by the addressees is good to know the context in question. Context is very important in understanding and interpreting the discourse. Context is something that we cannot ignore it, when people are trying to get the real meaning of information is heard or read. Context can affect a person's speech and is important in communicating. In communicating, use appropriate communication media. Film is also a medium to communicate an idea or the idea of the creator to a broad audience. Film creators can pour suggestion, innuendo, or other information in accordance with the events that are usually being much talked about. In this paper, the author selects the object data is a movie called "Manusia Setengah Salmon". <![CDATA[The earth is getting hotter. Extreme climate change occurred globally in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Global warming is a threat as well as human responsibility as the perpetrators of environmental damage. Waste and population growth threaten the function of ecosystem sustainability. From this issue, arises awareness for young people to reconcile with themselves and nature, through a green lifestyle. Green lifestyle is an effort of the youth to contribute, in order to save the ecology. This study's aim is to determine the sensitivity of the youth of the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa (GMIM) to environment, by carrying a tumbler as part of a green lifestyle. This research uses a qualitative method, with a descriptive approach through ecological studies. The data obtained are primary data through observation and in-depth interviews with 4 GMIM youths aged 16-30 years, then secondary data through books, journals, and the internet. The results of this study indicates that the green lifestyle of the youth of GMIM by carrying a tumbler, can reduce plastic waste, which also supports the success of youth reconciliation with nature. Apart from oneself, Minahasa social and cultural factors also play a role in preserving the environment.]]>

<![CDATA[This study intends to analyze student learning difficulties in English language courses. This case study was conducted at IAKN Manado, specifically 30 students in the first semester of the 2019/2020 school year from 3 different study programs. Researchers use a classic and individual approach to combine data, and analyzed with qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that students' learning difficulties occurred due to feelings of compulsion in learning, poor mastery of learning concepts, being unable to remember lessons, and not having the opportunity to practice English. Referring to the findings, it is recommended that the teacher and institutions should facilitate and provide high motivation for the learning process of English.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) has distinctive cross-ethnic, religious and cultural characteristics that govern sovereignty of people's lives. The founders of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia represented the whole of the Indonesian people governing common life based on Pancasila as the philosophical and ideological basis of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia is a large country that has a history and historical figures. One historical figure is Mr. Alexander Andries Maramis (Mr. A. A. Maramis) who contributed to the independence of Indonesia and helped to form the basis of the State. The purpose of this study is (1) to know the life history and contribution of Mr. A. A. Maramis for the Republic of Indonesia. (2) Changes that occur after the contribution of Mr. A. A. Maramis for the Republic of Indonesia. This research uses the historical method with a descriptive approach through data analysis techniques, interviews, documentation and literature study. This paper is about to reveal that Mr. A. A. Maramis has an identity as a native of Minahasa (North Sulawesi) fighting for the independence of the Indonesian Nation both nationally and internationally. This is seen in nationalist identities and attitudes as markers of his struggle and for later generations. This article concludes that the next generation needs to build a collective memory of Mr. A. <![CDATA[This article describes that understanding God's Word is very important by using a Logical approach as the ability to think or reason to study and analyze God's Word so as not to get caught up in mistakes or misguided thinking. The author uses a descriptive qualitative methodology with data collection techniques for library research/library research and is supported by facts among Christians based on information from several Christian religious figures. This article is expected to provide benefits for the development of knowledge in the field of Theology and Christian Religious Education for both lecturers and students so that there needs to be a Logic Course in the Structure of the Theology and Christian Religious Education curriculum in every Christian religious college.]]>

<![CDATA[Perilaku wisatawan secara psikologis memiliki peranan penting dalam keputusan wisatawan untuk memilih objek wisata. Beragamnya daya tarik wisata di Kota Manado menarik perhatian para pengunjung destinasi wisata, sehingga memerlukan perencanaan pemasaran yang spesifik terutama terhadap perilaku wisatawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perilaku wisatawan dalam memilih objek wisata di Kota Manado. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pemaparan data secara deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara terhadap narasumber dan tinjauan literatur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa perilaku wisatawan dalam memilih objek wisata di Kota Manado terjadi dikarenakan beberapa faktor seperti faktor budaya, faktor keluarga, faktor usia dan tahap siklus hidup, serta faktor pengetahuan.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai kristiani dalam budaya malam bakupas di Kabupaten Minahasa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai kristiani dalam budaya bakupas di Kabupaten Minahasa masih terus dilakukan dalam rangka melestarikan kearifan budaya lokal yang memiliki makna pesekutuan yang saling berbagi. Upaya dalam melestarikan budaya malam bakupas terus dipelihara dengan tidak mengabaikan tradisi dan menghormati adat istiadat yang ada sebagai warisan luhur, agar nilai-nilai luhur budaya bahkan nilai-nilai kristiani yang terkandung di dalam budaya terus dipertahankan di era globalisasi saat ini. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Minahasa agar terus melestarikan kearifan budaya lokal yang terinternalisasi nilai-nilai budaya kristiani.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan Leadership dan Income dengan kinerja karyawan di PT.Mitra Kencana Manado. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif, dengan menggunakan Kuesioner dan observasi. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian menggunakan populasi berjumlah 60 responden, dan penarikan sampel menggunakan total sampling dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Dari hasil analisis dan interpretasi diperoleh bahwa : 1). Terdapat hubungan Leadership dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai r = 0,955 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. 20. Terdapat hubungan Income dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai r = 0,962 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 3). Terdapat hubungan antara Leadership dan Income dengan kinerja karyawan di PT. Mitra Kencana Manado. Dimana diperolehdengan nilai Sig F change 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara Leadership dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai r = 0,955 dengan nilai persen sebesar 95% dan terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat juga antara Income dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai r= 0,962 dengan nilai persen sebesar 96%.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT. The quality and presence of human resources plays an important role in developing regional tourism capacity. Manado City has promising prospects to increase competitiveness in the tourism sector, both at the regional and national levels. This study examines and identifies how improving the quality of human resource management can have a significant impact on the quality of regional tourism itself. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a systematic description. The research subject is the State Civil Apparatus of the Manado City Tourism Office. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the success of regional tourism development does not only depend on security and political stability, regional budgets, legal policies, or socialization and promotion, but is also influenced by the carrying capacity and utilization of human resources, especially those engaged in tourism.]]>
