Jurnal Manajemen contains research papers in the field of management science. This academic journal is published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Jakarta. First published in 2007 with the periods of publications 2 times a year, namely in May and November. The focus of this journal is the publication of research output in the fields of financial management, marketing management, human resource management, and operation management. However, the scope is not limited to these fields. Research from other fields relevant to management science can be published in this journal.

This research analyzed career women performance at manufacturing industries. Researchers used quantitative and qualitative methods. There were 200 career women in manufacturing industries around Bekasi joined as respondents in this research and filled the questionnaire given. Data was analyzed by multiple linear regression. Researchers also interviewed representative respondents in order to get respondent perspective about work life balance, family conflict and quality of work life. This research found that work life balance, family conflict, and quality of work life have significant influence towards career women performance on manufacturing industries around Bekasi.

This research aim to examine the affects of price bundling, product bundling on purchase intention and complementary product as moderating variable in convenience store. Sample was taken with purposive method as much 160 sample in questionnaire survey with closed question and 5-point likert scale. the collected data was processed using SmartPLS02. As the result of hyphoteis test are H1 accepted, which means that the price bundling variable has a significant on purchase intention. H2 is accepted, which means product bundling variable has a significant on purchase intention. H3 is accepted, which means complementary product has moderating effect on on relationship of price bundling to purchase intention. H4 is rejected, which means complementary product can’t be moderating variable on relationship of product bundling to purchase intention. Based on the result, price bundling and product bundling has a signinficant effect on purchase intention.

This study aims at investigating the links among quality of work life, synergy of office-home, job satisfaction, and employee performance. One hundred and two (102) respondents working in urban villages in Depok Sub Districts in DIY (Yogyakarta Special District). Results of the study found that quality of work life and synergy of office-home were positively related to employee performance. The variables were also positively related to job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction was positively related to employee persormance. It was found that job satisfaction mediated the effects of quality of work life and synergy office-home on employee performance.

The purpose of this research is to inspect the impact Occupational Self Efficacy on Work Engagement with the role of Human Resource Development Climate as mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Head Office of PT OLYMPIC BANGUN PERSADA involving several employee within the organization. The authors distribute questionnaires consisting of 15 questions about Occupational Self Efficacy, 15 questions about Work Engagement, 15 questions about Human Resources Development Climate to 100 respondents at PT OLYMPIC BANGUN PERSADA. The data were processed with SPSSv23 and macro Hayes v3. The findings showed significant relationship was found between all variables in the study. All the study hypotheses were supported. Human Resource Development Climate was found to partially mediate the relationship between Occupational Self-Efficacy and Work Engagement. The findings on respondents showed that Human Resource Development Climate has a role as complementary mediation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of employee competence, innovation, visionary leadership and networking on OCB in Sekretariat Kabinet. The method that used for this research is survey method with quantitative data as a primary data. This type of research is associative research. The data is analyzed with Partial Least Square using SmartPLS 3.0. Unit analysis target is individual from the employees of Deputi Dukungan Kerja Kabinet. Based on the research result shows that: 1) employee competence has significant and negative influence on organizational citizenship behavior, 2) The innovation has significant and positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior, 3) The visionary leadership has significant and positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior, 4) The networking has significant positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior.

This paper aims to find out the contribution of tourism sectors to Gross Regional Domestic Product in Sukabumi City. Tourism sectors studied in this paper consist of number of Tourist Attractions, number of Hotels, number of Hotel Guests and number of Restaurants with Regional Income Revenue (PAD) is considered to be the intermediation to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Sampling technique used was purposive sample with primary data taken from Department of Tourism and Development Planning Agency in Sukabumi City from 2014 to 2018. The data analyses through quantitative research using statistical analysis and processed by E-Views 8. The result confirms that all tourism sectors except number of Hotel Guests partially does not have a significant influence while as simultaneously have a significant influence to Regional Income Revenue. Further, Regional Income Revenue has a significant influence on Gross Regional Domestic Revenue (GRDP). Based on the result, some actions need to be implemented in order to boost the hotel guests in Sukabumi City.

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the supplier, internal, and customer integration on supply chain performance moderated by the demand uncertainty at PT X. This study uses quantitative research methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires with a sample number of 38 using saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis with SEM-PLS with WarpPLS 6.0 software. The result of this research is supplier integration, which has a direct impact on supply chain performance, and the integration of suppliers and customers that impact supply chain performance, as moderated by uncertainty in demand. The results of this study show that managers need to improve supplier and customer integration to improve supply chain performance.

This study aims to examine the difference attitude between Indonesian Chinese and Indonesian Javanese in term of family business successor planning.. Sample used in this researh is came from Javanese and Indonesian Chinese businessman in Semarang. Data retrieval is done by using open-ended questionnaire, and being processed by SPSS ver 19.. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference between Indonesian Javanese and Indonesian Chinese in case of the way they prepare their family business successor.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari gender orientation terhadap kepuasan karir yang dimediasi oleh adaptabilitas karir dan psychological capital. Model penelitian ini terdiri dari satu variabel eksogen, dua variabel mediasi, dan satu variabel endogen. Total hipotesis yang diajukan sebanyaak tujuh hipotesis. Model penelitian sudah diuji dengan tingkat normalitas, linearitas yang menunjukkan hasil berada di sig. < 0.05 sehingga dinyatakan normal dengan memiliki tingkat linearitas yang baik. Model juga diuji multikorelasionaitasnya dan menunjukkan VIF lebih kecil dari 10, sehingga menunjukkan hasil yang fit untuk diuji. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 210 responden dengan rentang usia 23-39 tahun dan sekarang merupakan karyawan perusahaan jasa yang sebelumnya sudah pernah bekerja minimal 1 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa gender orientation, psychological capital, dan adaptabilitas karir memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan karir, namum adaptabilitas karir dan psychological capital tidak mampu memediasi peranan gender orientation terhadap kepuasan karir.

The paper aims to study the determinants of banking performance from the human capital perspective. Banking is a service industry that heavily depends on human capital. Therefore, the research will focus on human capital quality in determining banking financial performance. This research analyses 5 ratios: Education Ratio, Average Age Ratio, Gender Composition, number of employees and number of branches. The dependent variable will be the profitability ratio represented by the return on asset (ROA). Linear regression is used to investigate the effect of human capital on banking performance. The software is the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) software to test the research model. The samples are 11 banks which are categorized as Book 4 and Book 3 by the regulation of Bank Indonesia (the central bank of Indonesia). The data and financial performance are obtained from 2015-2018. The empirical results show that the human capital, particularly the total employees and total branch, has a significant influence on banking per-formance. All variables are significant at a <5%.
