Cakrawala: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan (P-ISSN:1858-4497, E-ISSN: 2549-9300) is a scholarly journal aimed to provide a platform for both established and early-career researchers. This journal accepts research-based papers from the fields of Teaching and Learning; Language and Literacy Education; and Applied Human Development in the Context of Schooling with submissions accepted throughout the year. It is published biannually, May and November, by Universitas Pancasakti Tegal, Indonesia. Papers are all subject to peer review before being accepted for inclusion. Contributions for future editions are welcome. Starting from Vol. 12 No. 1, Cakrawala has been accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Ristekdikti) of The Republic of Indonesia based on Director Decree No. 23/E/KPT/2019 dated 08 Agustus 2019. The Decree is as an achievement for the Peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication and is effective for 5 years until 2023.

Abstract

Children with Down Syndrome experience developmental delays globally in gross and fine motor skills. This motor delay is accompaniedby mild to moderate Intellectual Disability with a majority IQ between 40 and 70.Miller and Chapman (1984) in Paul & Norbury (2012)estimate that nearly 50% of children with non-specific intellectual disabilities have language skills equivalent to their nonverbal abilities. .The rest have language skills that are not commensurate with their nonverbal abilities, namely 25% have a relative expressive languagedeficit. Speech therapist has a role in handling cases of Intellectual Disability in language skills. Therapeutic planning that is set on theclient in the form of a short-term goal is to improve receptive language skills at the level of the family category noun with an accuracy levelof 50% for 3 consecutive sessions and the therapy material given to the client is the exercise of pointing at family photos, namely: nizam,mother, ladies and gentlemen. This study aims to determine the description of the Intellectual Disability case at the Tugurejo HospitalSemarang, to find out the description of therapy planning in the Intellectual Disability case at the Tugurejo Hospital Semarang, todetermine the factors that influence the management of Speech Therapy in the Intellectual Disability case at the Tugurejo HospitalSemarang. The results of therapy on the ability to understand the family category as many as 5 meetings for 5 weeks with an accuracylevel of 80% have increased even though they have not been able to be consistent for 3 consecutive sessions. After 5 sessions of therapy, itcan be seen that the specified short-term goals have not been achieved because they are influenced by several factors, namely the age of theclient who is 6 years old and the client's poor attention

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of parents in developing children's early literacy during the Covid-19 period, by using a survey method with 26 respondents, namely parents of 13 boys and 13 girls. The analysis was carried out using the percent index formula and SPSS 16 software. The instrument was validated with expert judgment techniques and the reliable test showed the number 0.912> 0.60, which means that the questionnaire was reliable. The results of the data analysis showed that the parents in the TK Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP were in the category of less role, with the average percentage of all skills being 62.09%. Researchers have revealed the role of parents in developing children's early literacy with details of the ability to print motivation skills of 53.34% which means less, print motivation skills of 67.04% which means sufficient, phonological awareness skills of 70.68% which means sufficient, vocabulary skills of 67.21% which means enough, narrative skill is 60.74% which means less, and letter knowledge is 53.55% which means less.

Abstract

The use of learning media in Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School is still dominant in using printed books and less using mobile-based learning media, so it is felt to be less effective in learning and makes students passive. So the development of Moodle-based Mobile Learning media is necessary for the learning process. The purpose of this research is the development of Moodle-based Mobile Learning in Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School in the subject of valid Food Ingredients Knowledge. The development method is R&D for education, with the Four-D development model. Data retrieval was carried out by giving instruments to validators of media experts and material experts, data analysis using Aikens V, the research location was Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School, West Sumatra, class X-cooking class students. The results of research on Moodle-based Mobile Learning learning media as interactive media from product validity tests based on media validation an average of 0.92 is declared "Valid" and material validation is declared "Valid" an average of 0.87, so Moodle-based Mobile Learning learning media is very feasible to be applied in the learning process at the Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the recitation learning method on student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 5 Tangerang Regency. The research method used is a classroom action research method. The population in this study was grade 12 SMK Negeri Tangerang Regency and the sample in this study was grade 12 TKJ1. The results of this study indicate that the recitation learning method is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes, the percentage of student classical learning completeness increases from each cycle, namely cycle I of 42.31%, cycle II 80.38%, student learning activities in the first cycle have increased, namely cycle I of 63.46%, the second cycle was 73.90%. The ability of teacher'in the teaching and learning process in the classroom also increased where in the first cycle was in the sufficient category in the second cycle was categorized as good.

Abstract

Various problems that inform a teacher in the classroom are indicators that the learning motivation of studentswho receive the subject matter. If learning motivation is low, it will lead to low student learning outcomesbecause motivation is a determination and effort as a result of the interaction of the learning given by theteacher. The research objective was to increase learning motivation and improve social studies learningoutcomes. The steps in the research through cycle I and cycle II include planning, implementing actions,monitoring and reflecting. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning modelcould increase the social studies learning motivation from 68.75% in the first cycle to 78.13% in the secondcycle. The application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model could improve learning o utcomes in theclassical social studies subject from 81.25% in the first cycle to 87.50% in the second cycle. Based on all theresults of the research, "Application of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model to Increase Motivationand Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Human, Place, and Environment Material in Class VIIG Studentsof SMP Negeri 1 Adiwerna Academic Year 2019/2020" can be accepted

Abstract

The policy of learning from home due to the Covid 19 virus encourages teachers to create innovative learning media thatcan be accessed by students anywhere. Learning media is developed in accordance with learning objectives and studentneeds. The purpose of this research is to make learning videos to support advance organizer distance learning and tomeasure the attractiveness of learning videos that have been developed using the Dick and Carey model. The test subj ects inthis study were 39 students of class X of laboratory test analytical competence. Research instruments include observationsheets and interviews and attractiveness test questionnaires. The results of the attractiveness test showed a value of 3.45from a scale of 4.00. The conclusion of this research is that this learning video is attractive to use by students and supportadvance organizer distance learning

Abstract

Efforts to increase knowledge of local history by using digital-based media are very important, so that the objectives of learning local history can be realized properly. The current industrial era 4.0 is known for its extraordinary technological developments, it is time for the development of information technology to be applied in the world of education, especially in learning media. Learning media has a very important position in the learning process, one which is for learning local history. Development of media is carried out using development research methods with ADDIE stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), but in this research at the design stage of the media. Local history is rarely taught and known in the classroom, this can be seen when distributing questionnaires to 150 students at SMA Negeri 02 Batu resulting in 70,9% of students rarely understanding the potential of local history and 13,2% students not understanding at all. In addition, based on the questionnaire that has been distributed, 72.2% students are interested in the media that is used to facilitate the learning of local history based on 360° photos, especially the material on historic springs in Batu City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of students' learning habits and attitudes in the mathematics learningprocess. The purpose of this study was to prove how the influence of students' learning habits and attitudes onmathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Expos t facto method. Datacollection techniques used are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. To find out the results of learningmathematics and questionnaires using a Likert scale 4 for data on students' learning habits and attitudes. Theresearch data were then analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that therewas an influence between study habits and students' attitudes towards mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the increased interest and learning outcomes of producing the text of the procedure of students of class XI AKL 3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi Semester Gasal School Year 2019/2020 after following the learning to produce the procedure text with picture and picture model. This study uses class action research design (PTK) with 2 (two) cycles. The subject of this study was the result of producing the text of the procedure of students of class XI AKL 3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi which amounted to 34 students. The results showed the use of picture and picture models can increase interest and learning outcomes in producing the text of student procedures. Increased interest is seen in the initial (pre-cycle) conditions of many passive learners to the final condition in cycle II of many active learners. The improvement in the results of learning to produce the text of the procedure was seen in the percentage of students who got a complete score (meet kkm) from the initial condition of the procedure text production value of only 52.94% then in cycle I increased to 67.65% and at the end of the second cycle increased to 91.17%.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of the family environment, social environment and entrepreneurial learning on entrepreneurial interests. The subjects of this study were 54 class XII students of SMK PGRI Tegal, who were taken incidentally. The results showed that partially the family environment, social environment and entrepreneurial learning influenced the interest in entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it simultaneously shows the social environment and entrepreneurial learning influences the interest in entrepreneurship, while the family environment does not show a positive influence. Entrepreneurial learning has the most dominant influence in growing entrepreneurial interest for students. This research has implications for improving the quality of entrepreneurial learning in schools, in order to be able to foster student interest in entrepreneurship.
