Abstract

The aims of this study were to (1) examine the effect of using flipbooks on substance stress material on the learning independence of junior high school students and (2) examine the effect of using flipbooks on substance stress material on junior high school students' learning outcomes. The type of research used is experimental and the design used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The place of research is SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques used, namely tests, observation of student skills, questionnaires, and documentation. Techniques to analyze the data using the t-test. Results of Sig. (2-tailed) on the t-test on learning independence is smaller than 0.05, which is 0.000. Learning outcomes in this study consisted of the realm of knowledge and skills. Learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge and skills were obtained by Sig. (2-tailed) on the t-test is less than 0.05 (Sig. < 0.05) which is 0.000.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif murni yaitu true eksperiment dengan desain penelitian posttest-only control desain. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Ma’arif Yunisma tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII dengan kelompok belajar 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelompok belajar 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tiled) sebesar 0,019 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,019<0,05) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga, kesimpilan dari penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran GI-GI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa SMP.

Abstract

This research aims to know the implementation of the learning model and the effect of the performance of the guided inquiry collaborative learning model on the students' achievement on solubility and solubility product concepts. This study used the design of experiments and was conducted in 11th grade at Malang High School in the group's pretest and post-test design. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test). Student worksheets and proficiency tests in solubility and solubility product concepts were classified as valid and very effective. In addition, each learning phase of the timetable was adequately implemented. The study showed an effect of implementing the guided inquiry cooperative learning model on the students' achievement on solubility and solubility product. The student's cognitive achievements taught by collaborative guided inquiry had higher achievement (the average score was 80.83) than those led by guided inquiry (the average score was 70.93).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri disertai media pictorial riddle terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa SMP. Desain penelitiannya quasi experiment dengan jenis rancangannya post-test only control group design. Populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 11 Jember dengan sampel terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data utama menggunakan tes dan angket. Data pendukung lainnya dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya dengan uji independent sample t-test jikalau data berdistribusi normal dan uji Mann Whitney jikalau data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa di kelas eksperimen mendapatkan rata-rata nilai yang lebih baik dibanding kelas kontrol, sehingga bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri disertai media pictorial riddle berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa SMP.

Abstract

Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang masih rendah dalam pelajaran IPA. Salah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan memanfaatkan bahan ajar interaktif yang bisa digunakan dengan mudah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa E-LKPD berbasis STEM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan E-LKPD berbasis STEM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Plomp. Subjeknya yakni kelas VIIIF SMPN 7 Jember tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk E-LKPD termasuk dalam kriteria sangat valid dengan skor 96,08%. Hasil kepraktisan E-LKPD memperoleh skor sebesar 96,39% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil keefektifan E-LKPD memperoleh skor N-Gain sebesar 0,43 yang termasuk dalam kriteria sedang. Serta respon siswa yang memperoleh skor 87,00% dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of inquiry-based online learning using WhatsApp Group on understanding the concept of benzene and its derivatives by comparing the level of concept understanding in benzene and its derivatives produced by inquiry-based online learning and expository-based online learning through WhatsApp Group. This research used quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. Research sample were 4th semester students of Tadris Kimia IAIN Tulungagung in the 2020/2021 academic year. Research instrument was a test for understanding the concept of benzene and its derivatives which had been valid and reliable. Research data were pretest and posttest scores of understanding the concept of benzene and its derivatives were analyzed using t-test on the SPSS program. The results of the analysis show that there were significant differences in the level of concept understanding in benzene and its derivatives produced by inquiry-based online learning through WhatsApp Group and expository-based online learning through WhatsApp Group. The level of concept understanding in benzene and its derivatives produced by inquiry-based online learning through WhatsApp Group were higher than produced by expository-based online learning through WhatsApp Group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Validitas isi (2) validitas psikometrik dan (3) validitas konstrak asesmen kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP dengan pemodelan Rasch, serta (4) Mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 September 2021 di MTs NU 01 Kramat. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh lembar jawab siswa MTs NU pada mata pelajaran IPA tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Butir-butir Instrumen asesmen kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP telah memenuhi (1) validitas isi (2) validitas psikometri dan (3) validitas konstrak menjelaskan: (a) item fit instrumen dinyatakan fit dengan tingkat kesukaran butir berada di interval antara (-3.00) - 3.00, (b) sebanyak 11.95 % respon tidak person fit, (c) dengan scree plot menunjukkan instrumen tes bersifat unidimensi. (4) Prosentase nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis rata-rata peserta tes sebesar 52.6 %. This study aims to determine: (1) content validity (2) psychometric validity and (3) construct validity of critical thinking skills assessment in science learning in junior high school using Rasch modeling, and (4) to describe students' critical thinking skills in science learning in junior high school. This type of research is descriptive exploratory using a quantitative approach. The research was carried out on 9 September 2021 at MTs NU 01 Kramat. The population used is all NU MTs student answer sheets in science subjects for the 2021/2022 academic year. Items The instrument for assessing critical thinking skills in science learning in junior high school has met (1) content validity (2) psychometric validity and (3) construct validity explaining: (a) the item fit of the instrument is declared fit with the item difficulty level being in the interval between ( -3.00) - 3.00, (b) 11.95 % of the responses are not person fit, (c) the scree plot shows that the test instrument is unidimensional. (4) The percentage of the average critical thinking ability of the test takers is 52.6%.
