Abstract

Commodity movement area of Jambi, Riau and West Sumatra eastern part transported by road transport with the same line, namely Padang - Solok. The transport flow reached 8158 vehicles with payloads reached 2,338,834 tons per year (Department of Communication and Information, 2011). The traffic flow is causing congestion and road damage. To that end, it is necessary to limit the load of freight trucks. One of them with modal shifts to rail. And one of the technical aspects to be considered, is taking into account the number of requests (estimated demand) in the long term. Estimates of origin destination matrix made by the method of Gravity types without limitation, by using secondary data from the Department of Transportation West Sumatra Province. From the estimation, predictable amount of freight that passes through Padang - Solok in 2015 amounted to 2.29512 million tons with a growth rate of 1.52% per year. So predictable amount of freight in 2040 amounted to 3.34632 million tons / year.

Abstract

SMK3 dan K3 are all activities to ensure and protect the safety and helath of the workforce throught prevention of occupational injuries and occupational diseases in construction works. Research objectives: 1) Knowing SMK3 in the sampling company, 2) Obtain the effect of K3 applied. The research method used a model showing the realitionship betwen perception and preferance with attitudes by Martin A. Fishbein. The result of research indicated that the attitude of the respondent abaut the OSH sistem is the condition of the working environment is the first indicator (1,62 / 42%), the use of personal protective equipment is the second indicator (1,536 / 39%), the provision of the third director of keetutan (0,725 / 19%), and heavy equipment inspection is the lowest indicator (0,00 / 0%).

Abstract

The need for energy continues to increase in line with increasing development, especially in the industrial sector, economic growth and population growth. Petroleum has become the main energy source in meeting domestic energy needs. At present, petroleum is also a commodity producing state revenues and foreign exchange. The growing demand for petroleum continues, but reserves are running low. The diminishing world oil reserves, including Indonesia, has encouraged the government to reduce people's dependence on fuel oil. Sea water is a mixture of 96.5% pure water and 3.5% other materials such as salt and dissolved gases. Basically, water sea contains high NaCl compounds and by H2O decomposed into Na+ and Cl- The voltage produced from Seacell is theoretically capable of producing Electricity voltage. Test results of seawater on the influence of copper and aluminum cross-sectional area, that the cross-sectional area of ??copper and aluminum plates is very influential on the amount of electrical energy produced. Where is the cross-sectional area of ??copper and aluminum 100 cm2 = 0.00672 Watts, 150 cm2 = 0.0126 Watts, and 400 cm2 = 0.0354 Watts. This shows that electrical energy can be generated through copper plate and aluminum electrodes and sea flow as a electrolyte

Abstract

Abstract Blind people only rely on their sense of hearing because they have a high hearing comprehension. One of the ways that blind people use to walk is like using a stick. But sometimes it is still difficult if you encounter a road surface with a hole so that not a few of the blind people often fall into the hole. Blind people also have difficulty if they encounter uneven road surfaces or flooded roads. From this, the design of the stick was made as a walker for the blind with audio and vibration output. The design of this tool uses the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor as detecting objects in front of the user and knowing whether a road has a hole or not. This design also uses a water level sensor to determine whether the road is inundated by water or not, especially on the hollow road. Then the design output of this tool is in the form of audio connected to the earphones and vibrations from the DC motor. The distance detected by the sensor for obstructions is at 100 cm, for potholes when 10-15 cm and for stagnant water when> 50%. If you want to stop using the stick, just push the switch on the stick again. The accuracy level of the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is very good, seen from the error calculation that has been done where the largest error value is obtained at a distance of 10 cm and 20 cm with an error percentage of 0.43% and 0.67%. Furthermore, the smallest error value is obtained at a distance of 30 cm with an error percentage of 0.04%. It can be seen that the ultrasonic sensor works well with an error percentage of0.27%.

Abstract

Abstract Aggregate is a construction material that has an important role in the activities of highway construction. As the main constituent of pavement material, the proportion of aggregate in a mixture of 90-95 % by weight of pavement either flexible or rigid pavement pavement The purpose of the examination materials derived from laboratory to one production stone crusher machine in the villageGunung selan, is to determine the quality of material of each aggregate for admixture asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC). This result are in the experiment marshall, Stability of 10 (ten) of the test substance over a minimum standard stability properties Laston mixture (AC), and for the melting of 10 ( ten ) test materials, test material Number 3A+SA+SB in excess of the maximum,standard (2-4), the results of the experiment marshall melting of the material that is 3A = 4.2 mm, 5A and SB = 6.2 = 4.7 which exceeds the maximum melting tersbut likely caused by the lack of the number.

Abstract

Roads are an important asset because of their enormous value and very strategic role in development, so they must be properly maintained in order to function as expected. As it ages, a pavement will experience a decrease in conditions due to continuous traffic loads and other factors such as temperature and changing weather. An indication of a deterioration in road conditions is damage to the pavement surface. For this reason, road maintenance techniques are needed so that the road is always functioning at all times. Proper maintenance will provide the desired service life. Conversely, if maintenance is not carried out properly it can cause the road to break down quickly. In this study, the authors conducted research on one of the roads in the city of Bengkulu, namely Jalan Kalimantan Merpati 17 Rawa Makmur, Bengkulu City. To identify road damage using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method and to determine the level and type of road damage. The method of data collection is by conducting a direct survey to the location of the study which aims to find out the initial data description of the types of damage and recording of the pavement surface which is then carried out by the researcher for the evaluation of the level of damage to the road from the first source, observed, researched, and recorded for the first time by the researcher. alone. In this study, the data to be taken are: the types of pavement surface damage that occurred, the area of damage to the point of damage, the level of damage, photos of road pavement surface damage documentation. The results of this research are the types of damage that commonly occur on the Kalimantan Merpati 17 Rawa Makmur road section in Bengkulu City are edge cracking, weathering and ravelling, potheles, bumps and evaluation. Damage to segment 1 of the road segment Kalimantan Merpati 17 Rawa Makmur Bengkulu City gave results in the form of the average PCI (Pavement Condition Index) value in segment 1 of the road segment Kalimantan Merpati 17 Rawa Makmur Bengkulu City was 78.7 with very good condition (very good) .

Abstract

With the increasing number of vehicle users in Bengkulu City View Tower, the Tower View should provide a large parking area to accommodate the existing vehicle. If the vehicle parking problem needs not addressed, it can lead to kesemerawutan in the neighborhood, of course, this can interfere with existing teaching and learning. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the characteristics of the park (accumulation, volume, turnover rate, and parking index), as well as the needs of vehicle parking spaces View Tower in the city of Bengkulu. The research method is a survey of parking duration that is the way to record the number and timing of vehicles entering and exiting the parking area View Tower City of Bengkulu, the main reference used for parking survey redacted from the Directorate General of Land Transportation's decision No. 72 / Hk.105 / DJRD / 98 planning and operator of parking facilities. The study was conducted over two days, namely: Saturday, May 2, 2015, Sunday, May 3, 2015, Saturday, May 9, 2015 and Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 08: 00-14: 00 pm. Based on the results of the survey and data analysis parking maximum volume occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Accumulated maximum parking occurs on a day Saturday, May 2, 2015 car parking areas as many as 13 vehicles / 60 minutes, and the motorcycle parking area Sunday, May 3, 2015 as many as 47 vehicles / 60 minutes. The level of turnover occurs daily maximum parking car parking area as much as 2 vehicles / day / room, and Sunday, May 3, 2015 IRD motorcycle parking area as much as 2 vehicles / day / room. Maximum parking index occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2015, namely: the car parking area 100%, and 99.11% motorcycle parking area. Parking space requirements, namely: the accumulated maximum of 112 SRP on Sunday, May 3rd, while capacity is as much as 113 SRP, accumulated maximum of 17 SRP on Saturday May 2, Sunday, May 3 and Sunday, May 10, while capacity is as much as 17 SRP. Based on the evaluation of the facility View Tower parking space Bengkulu city, it can be concluded that the capacity of the car park and bike during rush hour is still insufficient.

Abstract

Abstract Construction management work must take into account the composition of workers. recruitment of workers, direction of workers, supervision of workers and others. The composition of workers will affect work productivity. The better the qualifications of workers, the higher productivity of workers. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect worker productivity in reinforced concrete structures in the Ivory Medical Hospital construction project in the City of Bengkulu. Data collection methods use observation and data analysis using the Time Study method. Based on the calculation results obtained the value of worker productivity, namely for column formwork work; 8.92 m² / Oh, beam; 7.25 m² / Oh and plates; 24.32 m² / Oh. In column reinforcement installation work; 473.57 Kg/Oh, beam; 126.31 Kg/Oh and plates; 378.22 Kg / Oh and for column casting work; 50.44 M³/Oh, beam; 15.57 M³/Oh and plates; 5.14 M³/ Oh. The factors that cause the lack of productivity of workers in the work of installation formwork is the distance of the material sites and the number of workers, while the factors affecting reinforcement work are the weather and the position / location of the material which is very far from the installation site.

Abstract

Abstract In the era of globalization with the level of technological progress in various sectors requires the use of technology to be one part of various activities. Everything that is done quickly and efficiently does require an additional tool which in this case is the sophistication of the technology it self. Engaged in the government sector, the Lebong Regency Government has begun to run the government using technology, one of which is in the field of information technology. Abstract

Abstract Seluma Utara Sub district is one of the Sub districts in the Seluma District, where most of the population is working as farmers. This causes the availability of irrigation to be very important to help the community in creating and managing agricultural or plantation land. Along with the rapid development of the area resulting in changes in most of the regional data, especially the form of maps, where the old map has expired (out of date) if compared with statistical data that are currently available. This happens because for the visualization of data in the form of maps requires substantial funds and a relatively long time, so that there are still many areas that still use the old map for planning, implementation and evaluation of development, therefore a mapping of Irrigation Regional (DI) channels is made based. Geographic Information System (GIS) to support the data needs in the District of North Seluma, namely Di Pandan, Talang Empat, and DI Puguk. North Seluma District, Seluma Regency. Data collection for mapping using the Global Positioning System (GPS) is done by tracking or crossing the existing irrigation channels in the field. The results of tracking using GPS are inputted into GPS software and a display of channel information is found in the irrigation area. This map makes it easy for related parties to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation in order to increase agricultural productivity.
