Abstract

Selain aspal, agregat kasar dan agregat halus, filler adalah salah satu komponen dalam campuran beraspal terhadap beban lalu lintas. Tujuan penelitian untuk membandingkan hasil campuran/adukkan yang menggunakan hanya abu batu saja dan campuran/adukkan dengan bahan tambahan jenis pasir dalam komposisi AC-WC. Uji coba ini menggunakan metode Marshall, yaitu stabilitas, flow,Void In Total Mix (VITM), Void Filled with Asphalt (VFA), dihitung Marshall Quotiety-nya, dan uji rendaman Marshall atau uji Immersion. Hasil perbandingan bahwa penggunaan pasir dalam campuran beton aspal menghasilkan lapisan AC-WC yang besifat stabil terhadap perubahan bentuk (gelombang dan alur), memiliki daya tahan (durabilitas) terhadap pengaruh repetisi beban lalu lintas tanpa mengalami leleh (bleeding), dan bersifat lentur sehingga tidak mudah retak.

Abstract

Abstract A steam boiler is a device used to process water into steam with a planned temperature and pressure. Then the steam which has that pressure is flowed into a process. Broadly speaking, the way the boiler works, hot steam that comes out of the fire is absorbed by the boiler wall (heating field). Process of processing palm oil at CPO (Crude Palm Oil) mills Through the process of boiling palm kernels with the help of a much needed tool, namely a steam boiler. A steam boiler is a device that works by heating water to boil and producing hot steam with high pressure, the resulting heat energy or what is often called heat is absorbed by the boiler wall (heating field), then it can be used for boiling coconut ore processes palm.

Abstract

Abstract Steam boilers are devices that work by heating water to boiling and producing high-pressure hot steam, heat energy or often called heat can be used for oil palm boiling processes at CPO mills. Heating Value is chemical energy released by fuel during the combustion process. Fuel value consists of two types, namely: Highest Heating Value (HHV) Low fuel value (Lowest Heating Value / LHV) Low fuel calorific value is the amount of heat obtained in perfect combustion of 1kg of fuel without taking into account the heat condensation of water vapor on the fuel.

Abstract

Hardness is one of the mechanical properties in material. One of the process that influence hardness is heat treatment that is given heat with temperature 800 0C. The cooling sistem are non treatmen and quenching that it use air, water, biosolar. The result from this research are 0,306 BHN of the non treatment and quenching method 44,243BHN (cooling in the air), 882,143 BHN (cooling in the water) and 49,349BHN (cooling in the Biosolar).Microstructure is details of a metal object that are very small and invisible to see with naked eyes. Because of that condition it use optic microscope and electron microscope to check details of the steels. The result of this process are non treatment (26,4 ?m) and quenching process air (21,7 ?m), water (22,6 ?m) and Biosolar (22,7 ?m). Phase that happen are ferrite and pearlite in the iron, low carbon steel.Keywords: Hardness test, micro

Abstract

Wind energy is a renewable energy source that can be converted into electrical energy. The utilization of wind energy can replace oil dwindling energy supplies in the world. One wind turbine that can transform wind energy into electric energy is Savonius turbine, which Savonius turbine can work at relatively low wind speeds. In this study Savonius turbine uses a double curved deflector in pairs upstream of the turbine and the turbine as well. Deflector mobilized with a double curved hinge system so that it can be in the know its performance in the best condition. The curvature of the deflector is 1/4 of the circumference of the rotor. This study was conducted at a speed of between 4 m/s to 6 m/s. The results showed that the condition of the double curved deflector orientation α2 = 135o angle β2 = 45° of the direction of flow produces the best or highest CP, as well as working torque at low rpm.

Abstract

Abstract Renewable energy is one of the alternative energies for the application of effective energy in the future because it also takes into account the increasing dependence of humans on the use of fossil energy which will reduce the availability of fossil energy and renewable energy can also be used as an alternative energy source whose distribution is For areas that have not been reached by PLN because of the large and centralized power generation system, one solution is the use of renewable energy generation, one of which is wind energy. Wind energy generators have the advantage that the energy costs are relatively cheaper, but the challenge is that this plant is designed for areas with medium and high wind speed groups so that the performance of this plant will decrease when applied in low pressure areas, so optimization is needed on the wrong design. The only thing is the addition of a shroud (wind lens) on a wind turbine that can increase performance twice as much as a wind turbine without a wind lens. For the test, a wind turbine design test variable was carried out using a windlens and a wind turbine without a wind lens with wind speeds of 3 m/s, 4 m/s and 5 m/s. The best test results used a windlens Cp max = 0.898 and Ct max = 0.58 at a wind speed of 3 m/s.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of the study was to check and evaluate pavement data and road conditions with an earth-based information system. The research location is in the district of Central Bengkulu. Data on research subjects for district and environmental roads. The research method used was map data collection, pavements and conditions with a length of 50-100 meters each. The system is run by taking field data with GPS, Photos and Videos. For pavements and conditions using direct observation. To display the information system, a web-based geographic information system (GIS Web) is used. This is intended to facilitate access from all walks of life of the application user.

Abstract

Abstract Low carbon steel plates are widely used in construction fields such as car bodies, runway plates, trellises and others where high resistance and tenacity are required. This process is carried out at 800oC for 30 minutes then in biosolar quenching. The results of the average non-settlement tensile stress obtained yield stress ?y = 13.02 kgf / mm2, ultimate stress ?u = 21.58 kgf / mm2, breaking voltage ?f = 18.66 kgf / mm2. The results of the average air tensile stress obtained yield stress ?y = 9.53 kgf / mm2, ultimate stress ?u = 18.94 kgf / mm2, breaking voltage ?f = 12.39 kgf / mm2. The results of the average air tensile stress obtained yield stress ?y = 18.16 kgf / mm2, ultimate stress ?u = 26.23 kgf / mm2, breaking voltage ?f = 22.05 kgf / mm2. The results of the average biosolar tensile stress obtained yield stress ?y = 18.98 kgf / mm2, ultimate stress ?u = 28.12 kgf / mm2, breaking voltage ?f = 24.65 kgf / mm2. From the above data biosolar cooling media will be proposed to increase. From this study it was concluded that biosolar is the best as a cooling medium that can increase tensile material compared to air conditioning media.

Abstract

This research is about optimization of chipping angle geometry and process parameter to surface roughness byusing taguchi and ANOVA method. In the industrial world, especially small industries in the manfacture ofproducts that reguire some roughness they do not take into account the geometry of the chisel angle and theparameters suitable for the process. To get the geometry and parameters that fit is needed a method in order laoptimize the level of surface roughness. The Taguchi and ANOVA methods are statistical analysis methods that canbe used to optimize to get the best machining roughness. In this study the materials used are St. 37 by machiningprocess using Celtic lathe. The design of the St 37 steel lathe optimization parameter on the Celtic lathe to obtainthe chisel angle and process parameters is to use a combination of the main cutting angle of 90 °, 75 °.45o; spindle rotation (rpm) 290, 370, 460; feeding motion (mm/ rev) 0.05, 0.07, 0.09 and cutting depth (mm) 0.5,0.75, 1. This parammeter is then analyzed in Taguchi software which then analyzed by using ANOVA to find out whatpercentage of contribution of influence of level factor to test result. The optimization result of this research inspindle rotation 290 rpm, feed motion 0.05 mm/ rev, cutting depth 1 mm and main cutting angle 45 °. Percentagocontribution of each parameter to surface roughness of St 37 steel is feding motion 52,30% cuting depth 19,46%spindle rotation 14,91% and cutting angle 13,32%.

Abstract

The existence of PKL Pasar Panorama can also create jobs, while on the other hand the existence of street vendors who are not taken into account in spatial planning has become a burden for the city. Street vendors have a negative impact on the urban structure, while on the community the existence of street vendors in addition to having a negative impact also provides benefits/positive impacts on the community. This study was conducted to determine the impact of street vendors on the panoramic market of Bengkulu city that sells in the green zone (pavements and road bodies) and to find out the wishes of street vendors in the research location.Data analysis is a stage to determine the problems faced. The analytical techniques used in this study are as follows: Descriptive Analysis(Descriptive analysis is an analysis that aims to provide a description (description) of a data, such as the average, the amount of variance, the minimum and maximum values, and so on.) and SWOT analysis (SWOT matrix analysis can be formulated various possible strategies in the development of attractiveness. The combination of SWOT components is a strategy that supports the development of potential objects and attractions such as: Strengths Opportunities (SO) Strategies, Strengths Threats (ST), Weaknesses Opportunities (WO) and Weaknesses Threats (WT)).Research result is: The existence of street vendors can create jobs, while on the other hand the existence of street vendors who are not taken into account in spatial planning has become a burden for the city. Street vendors are active in the public spaces of the city without heeding the public interest, resulting in a change in the function of the space, The problem of street vendors is a problem in the lives of many people that is never finished from time to time. To overcome the negative impacts caused by the existence of street vendors, a unity of understanding is needed between the government and the street vendors themselves, Street vendors are mostly practiced by people in Bengkulu City. Although not all of those who work in this sector are Bengkulu City residents, street vendors in their lives raise various urban environmental problems in Bengkulu City. The identified PKL desires include, among others, PKL wanting an official lapak, wanting a cheap retribution and wanting access to loan capital.
