Abstract

This research was aimed to know the causal factors of learning difficulties of student in grade X on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 with the point of study were physiology, psychology, family, school, mass media, and social environment factor. This research used ex post facto method with descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection were used an observation, the questionnaire, interview, and documentation technique. Data analysis was held by using percentase tabulation technique. The results of research indicated that the students learning difficulties caused by physiology (students condition physic), family, school, and mass media factors. As for psychology (students mental condition) and social environment factors have less influence to learning difficulties on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan titik kajian pada faktor fisiologi, psikologi, keluarga, sekolah, media massa dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tabulasi persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa disebabkan oleh faktor fisiologi (keadaan fisik siswa), keluarga, sekolah, dan media massa. Adapun faktor psikologi (keadaan mental siswa), dan lingkungan sosial kurang memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci: faktor penyebab, geografi, kesulitan belajar.

Abstract

The research aims to find out (1) the relationship between students learning attitude and achievement, (2) the relationship between students learning motivation and achievement, (3) the relationship between students learning attitude and achievement in Integrated Social Studies at 8th grade of SMPN 2 Raman Utara, Lampung Timur, academic year 2015-2016. The research was conducted quantitatively whose research population was the students of 8th grade of SMPN 2 Raman Utara. Research sampling was taken through proportional random sampling with 51 sample. Data was analyzed by Spearman coefficient correlation and multiple correlation. Results of the research show that (1) there is positive relationship between students learning attitude and achievement, (2) there is positive relationship between students learning motivation and achievement, (3) there is positive relationship between students learning attitude, motivation, and achievement in Integrated Social Studies at 8th grade of SMPN 2 N Raman Utara, Lampung Timur, academic year 2015-2016.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan sikap dengan prestasi belajar, (2) hubungan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar, (3) hubungan sikap dan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara Lampung Timur tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan proportional random sampling, dengan jumlam sampel sebanyak 51 siswa. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan koefisien korelasi Spearman dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan positif antara sikap dengan prestasi belajar,(2) ada hubungan positif antara motivasi dengan prestasi belajar, (3) ada hubungan positif antara sikap dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara Lampung Timur tahun ajaran 2015/2016 .Kata kunci: motivasi, prestasi belajar, sikap

Abstract

The study aims to examine the characteristics of housewives who work in the pastry industry in the south Pringsewu Village. The method used is descriptive method. The research population were 19 housewives. Data collections were through observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used the percentage table. The results showed that 1) All housewives working ware at productive age (100%). 2) The education level of housewives working is elementary school (78.95%). 3) The number of dependents of the head of the household from housewives working is small (89,48%) 4) The household head's income from housewives working is below average (64,70%) 5) Housewives who worked have low working hours (68,42%). 6) Housewives working have a place to live close to the workplace (57.90%). 7) All housewives working have income under Pringsewu regency minimum wages (100%).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik ibu rumah rumah tangga yang bekerja pada industri kue kering di Kelurahan Pringsewu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 19 ibu rumah tangga. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan tabel persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Seluruh ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja berada pada umur produktif (100%). 2) Tingkat pendidikan ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja berpendidikan dasar (78,95%). 3) Jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga dari ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja kecil (89,48%). 4) Pendapatan kepala keluarga dari ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja berada di bawah rata-rata (64,70%). 5) Jam kerja ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja terbilang rendah (68,42%). 6) Ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja memiliki tempat tinggal yang dekat dengan tempat bekerja (57,90%). 7) Seluruh ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja memiliki pendapatan di bawah UMK Kabupaten Pringsewu (100%).Kata kunci: bekerja, ibu rumah tangga, industry

Abstract

This study aims to determine community participation in reducing the risk of flood disaster in Bugis Sub Villages of Menggala Village, Menggala City District, Tulang Bawang Regency. The research  method used in this research was descriptive method. The population  in this study were all people in the Bugis Environment whose numbers were 496 families. of the population, the author  takes 10% of  the population so that the number of samples is 50 families. The sampling technique used  purposive sampling. Data collection used questionnaire techniques, interview techniques, documentation techniques, and observation  techniques. Data analysis used quantitative analysis techniques and used a Likert scale as a measurement instrument for research instruments. The results showed that the level of community participation in reducing the risk of flood disaster in  Bugis environment was spread  in the high category 78% and moderate 22%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengurangi risiko bencana banjir di Lingkungan Bugis Kelurahan Menggala Kota Kecamatan Menggala Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat di Lingkungan Bugis yang jumlahnya adalah 496 KK. Dari populasi tersebut penulis mengambil 10% dari populasi sehingga jumlah sampel nya adalah sebanyak 50 KK. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner, teknik wawancara, teknik dokumentasi, dan teknik observasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis secara kuantitatif dan menggunakan skala likert sebagai skala pengukuran instrumen penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengurangi risiko bencana banjir di Lingkungan Bugis tersebar pada kategori tinggi 78% dan sedang 22%. Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the improvement of the activity and achievement of students during cooperative learning model Number Heads Together type, whose standard competence was to understand the economic activities of society. This research was carried out at SMPN 1 Mesuji Ogan Komering Ilir subdistrict, South Sumatra in the even-year semester 2011/2012 to 30 of VII2 students. The researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was done in 2 cycles. The activities were planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection for each cycle. To collect the data, the researcher used observation, field notes and tests at the end of each cycle. The results of this research showed the scores of students learning activities at the cycle I was 54,99%. In the cycle I, learning activities was done by group discussions and presentation with numbering. In the cycle II, there was an improvement 23,34% so it became 78,33%. The treatment of learning activity at this cycle was different. Besides, the students were given chance to do group debates in order for all students to participate at the presentation activities. While the average of students achievement in cycle I was 59,33, in cycle II it improved to 73,33. The average of students achievement who get the score ≥ 70 at the cycle I was 57%, at cycle II there was an improvement 29,66% so it became 86,66%. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Number Heads Together type can be applied as an alternative learning to improve the activity and achievement of VII2 social class students at SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji. Keywords  : cooperative learning model NHT type, Geography Education, fkip,unila

Abstract

This study ained to determine and analyze (1) the relations between student perception of pedagogic competence teacher with learning social outcomes (2) the relations between student perception of professional competence teacher with learning social outcomes (3) the relations between student perception of pedagogic competence and professional competence teacher with learning social outcomes. The method was correlasional. Based on the analysis of the data it obtained the following results, (1) there was a significant positive relationship between the perception of students on pedagogical competence of teachers to student learning outcomes (2) there was a significant positive correlation between the students' perceptions about the professional competence of teachers to student learning outcomes (3) there was a positive relationship between the perception of students on pedagogical competence of teachers and professional competence of teachers to student learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru IPS dengan hasil belajar siswa (2) hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi profesional guru IPS dengan hasil belajar siswa (3) hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru IPS secara bersamaan dengan hasil belajar siswa.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional.Berdasarkan analisa data diperoleh hasil yaitu (1) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan hasil belajar siswa (2) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi profesional guru dengan hasil belajar siswa (3)ada hubungan positif antara antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru dan kompetensi profesional guru dengan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, hasil belajar

Abstract

The researchaims to investigate the characteristics of sugarcane farmers in Negara Tulang Bawang village to study of land area, land tenure, agricultural capital, crop production of sugar cane, rendemen, sugar cane farmers income, and poor farmers criteria. The method used was a descriptive study. The study population was 49 families and is used as a sample of the entire population. Collecting data using questionnaires, documentation,and interviews. Analysis of data using requency distribution.The results showed that: 79,59% sugar cane farmers have nottoowide land area;59,18% of sugarcane farmers who have their own arable land;63,27% of sugarcane growers using small capital;57,14% lower sugarcane crop production farmers;partly large yield of sugarcane farmers is low at 95,92%;65,31% sugar cane farmers have little income;and 55,10% of sugarcane is a poor farmer.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik petani tebu di Desa Negara Tulang Bawang dengan kajian luas lahan garapan, status kepemilikan lahan, modal pertanian, produksi tanamn tebu, rendemen, pendapatan petani dan kriteria kemiskinan petani. Metodeyang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah 49 KK dan semua populasi tersebut dijadikan sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa: 79,59% petanitebu memiliki luas lahan garapan sedang; 59,18% petani tebu yang memiliki lahan garapan sendiri; 63,27% petani tebu menggunakan modal kecil; 57,14% petaniproduksi tanaman tebunya rendah; sebagian besar rendemen petani tebu rendah yakni 95,92%; 65,31% petani tebu memiliki pendapatan kecil; dan 55,10% tebu merupakan petani miskin.Kata kunci: karakteristik, petani, tebu

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze (1) difference between the average pretest value. (2) difference between the average posttest value and (3) the difference of improvement deviaton in geography learning outcomes. This research used quasi experimental research method (quasi experiment). The object of this research was geography learning outcomes by using assignment method and assignment in form of email. The subject of the research was students of grade XI IPS SMAN 1 Banjit Way Kanan district. Thedata collection used test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used gain test technique. The result of this research indicated: (1) There is a significant difference between the average pretest value. (2) There is a significant difference in the mean posttest of geography learning outcomes and (3) There is a significant difference in the mean of the gain value.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk menganalisa perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest. (2) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest dan (3) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan selisih peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar geografi dengan menggunakan metode penugasan dan penugasan bentuk email. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Banjit Kab. Way Kanan. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik uji gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai pretest. (2) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai postest hasil belajar geografi dan (3) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai gain.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metode penugasan bentuk email, penugasan.

Abstract

This research aimed at understanding the development of settlement in Pringsewu Subdistrict of Pringsewu Regency at 2010 until 2017, points of the research were (1) the direction of settlement development (2) the pattern of settlement. The methodology of this research was descriptive. Object of this research was the development of settlement in Pringsewu Subdistrict. The data collection technique was library research, observation, and documentation.  Technique of analysis in this research was map analysis. The result of research shows that (1) the pattern development of settlement  was clustered (2) the direction of settlement at 2010 until 2017 tend to the south.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan daerah permukiman di Kecamatan Pringsewu Kabupaten Pringsewu pada tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2017, dengan titik tekan kajian pada perkembangan daerah permukiman tentang (1) Arah perkembangan permukiman (2) Pola Permukiman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini perkembangan permukiman di Kecamatan Pringsewu. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu Studi Kepustakaan (Library Research), observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis peta. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pola permukiman yang terjadi adalah pola permukiman mengelompok (clustered). (2) Arah perkembangan permukiman yang terjadi pada tahun 2010 sampai tahun 2017 lebih cenderung kearah Selatan.Kata kunci: arah permukiman, perkembangan permukiman, pola permukiman

Abstract

The research aims to (1) find out the development of basic geography knowledge modules as teaching material, (2) produce basic geography knowledge modules as teaching material, (3) investigate the effectiveness of basic geography knowledge modules as teaching at class social 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. This research used stages and developments from Borg Gall model. The results of research and development indicate the assessment of material experts, design experts, linguists that the resulting development module is suitable for use in learning. In the small group trials, the module feasibility assessment is very feasible, while the large group trials for the attractiveness of the modules fall into the attractive category and the ease of use of the modules falls into the easy category. Module effectiveness is obtained from post-test scores where the use of modules in learning is categorized as effective.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengembangan modul materi pengetahuan dasar geografi sebagai bahan ajar, (2) menghasilkan modul materi pengetahuan dasar geografi sebagai bahan ajar, (3) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan modul materi pengetahuan dasar geografi sebagai bahan ajar di kelas X IPS 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan dalam peneltian dan pengembangan modul Borg Gall. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan penilaian dari ahli materi, ahli desain, ahli bahasa bahwa modul hasil pengembangan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Pada uji coba kelompok kecil penilain kelayakan modul ialah sangat layak, sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar untuk kemenarikan modul masuk dalam kategori menarik dan kemudahan penggunaan modul masuk dalam kategori mudah. Keefektifan modul didapat dari nilai post tes dimana penggunaan modul dalam pembelajaran dikategorikan efektif.Kata kunci: pengembangan modul, pengetahuan dasar geografi, model borg gall
