Abstract

Grocery stalls still manage transactions and stock conventionally, which is prone to errors and inefficient. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop an Android-based mobile application to support sales transactions, stock management, and digital transaction recording, which also includes a Stock Coverage Days feature that can be used to predict how long a product’s stock will last. The development was carried out using the Extreme Programming (XP) method to enable fast and flexible system development, and the application was built using the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language, as well as utilizing Supabase as the backend and real-time database. The testing results show that the application can improve transaction efficiency by 44.13% faster compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

The learning of network and telecommunication measuring instruments at SMK Nurul Hikmah is hindered by limited practical equipment and conventional teaching methods, making it difficult for students to understand concepts and reducing their learning interest. This study developed an application based on Augmented Reality and interactive quizzes to provide a more visual and engaging learning experience. The application utilizes Unity 3D, Maxst SDK, and Blender for creating 3D objects. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) to ensure a faster process and meet user needs. Key features include displaying 3D measuring instruments along with descriptions of their functions and operations, as well as interactive quizzes. Evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score of 81.67%, indicating that the application is feasible and effective as a learning medium. This research is expected to encourage the adoption of interactive technology in education.

Abstract

Temperature and lighting conditions in chicken coops greatly affect the health and productivity of livestock. However, many farmers in Indonesia still monitor the coop environment manually, which is inefficient and poses a high risk to chicken health. To address this issue, this study designed an Internet of Things (IoT)-based temperature and light Monitoring system that can automatically and in real-time monitor and control coop conditions. The system uses a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller integrated with a temperature sensor and an LDR light sensor. The collected data is displayed on an LDR screen and sent to the Blynk app on a smartphone, enabling farmers to monitor coop conditions remotely. The system is also equipped with two relays to automatically control fans and lights based on sensor values, as well as a manual control feature that automatically returns to default mode within 1 minute. The development method used is prototyping, with a black-box approach for system Testing. Abstract

arn unevenness is a parameter of yarn quality. Uneven yarn indicates that the yarn has thick and thin sections. Uneven yarn, when made into fabric, will result in poor fabric evenness, thus lowering the resulting fabric's grade. A low-grade fabric will affect its selling price. Therefore, it is important to find solutions to obtain yarn with better evenness. The research was conducted on a ring spinning machine using a randomized block design with three replications. The factors studied included twists per inch of roving yarn, consisting of twists of 0.96, 1.0, and 1.04, and backstretch on the ring spinning machine, consisting of backstretch of 1.13, 1.22, and 1.31. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine which treatment was best. Since the desired yarn unevenness value is as low as possible, the lower the better the criterion. The experimental results showed that setting the roving yarn twist count to 0.96 per inch and the ring spinning machine's backstretch to 1.22 times resulted in the lowest yarn unevenness value, at 10.51.

Abstract

In the business world, sales analysis and prediction play a crucial role in optimizing company operations. As a fruit distributor, which is one of the business entities facing unique challenges in inventory management and meeting customer demands. Making informed decisions in managing timely fruit stock can help the company avoid excessive storage costs and inventory shortages that could adversely affect the business. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) is one of the widely used machine learning algorithms across various fields, including business analysis. This algorithm focuses on grouping data based on feature similarity. In the context of sales prediction, KNN can be employed to forecast fruit demand by considering patterns of previous customer purchases and other features. From the test results, it can be observed that there is an average accuracy value of 86%, recall of 87%, precision of 81%, and an f1-score of 84%. These accuracy results indicate that the created model is highly effective in predicting fruit sales at PT. Sewu Segar Nusantara.

Abstract

The advancement of mobile technology has encouraged the use of android applications as a solution for delivering fast and efficient information, including in the steel industry sector such as that experienced by PT xwz, where the Sales division faces obstacles in delivering product information manually which causes delays and inaccuracies in data. Therefore, this study aims to design and build an android-based steel product information application with search and assessment features to make it easier for customers to access complete, accurate, and real-time product data. In designing the system, the prototype method is used to develop this application. The application design is supported by the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to describe the application flow in detail. Application testing is carried out using the black box method to ensure application functionality. In addition, questionnaire testing was also carried out involving 10 respondents consisting of 8 customers and 2 admin staff using the System Usability Scale. The results of the satisfaction score survey were 72%, indicating that this application is included in the good category. Indicating that the application is considered worthy of being used as an information media and supporting the sales process at PT xwz.
