Abstract

Background: Information and communication technology enables the collection of information quickly and efficiently, enabling better data management from company locations. Additionally, this technology can help businesses in formulating the best strategies and policy owners by acting as a catalyst for accurate decision making. After talking to and observing store owners, it became clear that they faced a number of difficulties in running their businesses on a daily basis, especially when it came to tracking sales transactions and managing inventory. This analysis shows that there has never been an application for managing sales transactions and inventory. To manage transactions more quickly, the Munawwarah Farma Pharmacy store must have a computerized system that supports the sales process, so that it can help the transaction process run quickly and precisely. Method: In this research, researchers implemented the Agile Software Development method in a web-based sales and stock recording application. Purpose: This application also has a feature for managing access rights so that shop owners can regulate which pages can be accessed by employees or cashiers, so that they can maintain the security of stock data to avoid unwanted things. Research Results: Based on the design results of the implementation of the Agile Software Development method in the web-based application for sales and stock of goods at the Munawwarah Farma Pharmacy shop which has a sales transaction feature using a barcode scanner and also in this application there are details of sales and purchases which can help shop owners to can manage stock of goods easily.

Abstract

The use of web-based information systems has been widely used in various fields, especially in education. In the field of education, this system is referred to as an academic information system, which is a platform designed to facilitate the implementation of administrative tasks in the academic field in educational institutions online. However, currently there are still many educational institutions that still use the old or manual method. SMA Tangerang 1 currently has not optimized the use of information systems effectively and still relies on manual or conventional methods such as using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to input and manage data. In this research, the design of a web-based academic information system is carried out with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness in managing grade management data, subjects, teacher data, student data at SMA Tangerang 1. Designed using the Laravel framework with Model View Control(MVC) architecture. This research adopts the Extreme Programming method in developing the application, resulting in a web-based information system that can be utilized by SMA Tangerang 1. The results of system testing show good performance, in accordance with user expectations.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan, pendekatan non-akademik melibatkan pengajaran keterampilan sesuai dengan minat dan bakat siswa untuk mempersiapkan mereka di masa depan. Pendidikan formal saja tidak mencukupi, sehingga pendidikan non-formal atau kegiatan ekstrakurikuler juga penting. Ekstrakurikuler adalah kegiatan di luar jam pelajaran yang diawasi oleh sekolah untuk mengembangkan minat, bakat, kepribadian, dan kemampuan siswa secara lebih luas. Pemilihan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler umumnya dilakukan melalui pengisian formulir yang diberikan oleh bagian kesiswaan. Namun, metode ini dianggap kurang efektif karena hanya memberikan pilihan kegiatan tanpa informasi yang terperinci, sehingga siswa bisa memilih kegiatan yang tidak sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka sendiri. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) dengan menggunakan model penjumlahan linier, metode SMART dapat memprediksi nilai dari setiap alternatif, dan keputusan dapat diambil dengan fleksibel dalam pengambilan keputusan, setiap alternatif memiliki nilai kriteria yang dapat berupa data kuantitatif atau data kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Ekstrakurikuler dengan metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan bagi pengguna yaitu memudahkan para siswa untuk memilih kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Hasil yang dicapai sistem memiliki 5 alternatif rekomendasi ekstrakurikuler yang disarankan dan 1 alternatif terbaik yang akan menjadi pertimbangan dalam menentukan esktrakurikuler yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat siswa.

Abstract

Background: Concrete is the main structural component of a building and consists of sand, cement, broken stones, and water, with additional elements as needed. Water use in this study used 1% bend wire and 10% fly ash, 2% bend wire and 12% fly ash, and 3% bend wire and 16%. Method: In the abstract, the method used is the experimental method. Purpose: to to find out the effect of mixing bend wire and fly ash with various presentations on the strength of concrete press. Research Results: After the study, the concrete with the greatest pressure strength compared to other concrete was 3% bend wire concrete and 16% fly ash (BKFA 3) with a concrete pressure strength of 24.88 MPa. Conclusion: Therefore, this study can be said to be successful because Concrete with an additional variation of 3% bend wire and 16% flyash has a strong pressure value of 24.88 Mpa has a stronger pressure value higher than the plan's strong pressure, f'c of 22.83 MPa or K275.

Abstract

Tangerang City area is one of the areas in Banten Province which is right on the west side of DKI Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Tangerang City is one of the largest cities in the JABODETABEK. With the increase in population mobility, the higher the traffic flow, the more traffic that causes congestion, because the number of vehicles is always increasing and not matched by the expansion of the area. To improve safety and comfort and also minimize traffic problems on the road, a median can be made. One of the influences when making a U-Turn is when the vehicle speed will slow down or stop for a moment. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to analyze the influence of the distance between U-turns that occurs on Gatot Subroto street, Tangerang City. In tihs study the authors used a quantitative method where the authors obtained numerical data from direct observation. Based on results of the study, it is shown that the distances between the U-Turns that are very close together causes vehicles that cross the road to be hampered by their journey, then the highest average daily traffic volume peak is 2951,1 smp/jam which occurs on Monday at 18.00-19.00. traffic flow performance on the eastbound Gatot Subroto road section has the highest degree of saturation of 0,94 with the class E road service level category, while for the west direction has the highest degree of saturation of 1,05 with the class F road service level category.

Abstract

Alarm clocks becoming more modern as time, and fewer people use them because there are many tools to serve as time reminders, for example, cellphones, etc. However, this development has negative impact on the body, to the radiation produces. Therefore, author will develop this alarm clock to make it look more attractive to people who no longer use alarm clocks and don't only serve as a time reminder. Methodology process making this water alarm product includes many very important considerations because has go through several trial sessions with the alarm clock which will replaced replacing or increasing some of the materials for its manufacture, in particular a fish aquarium with a size of ±200 mm will be made by adding more tools to help circulate water when the alarm sounds to find out the amount of consumer demand using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. From the results the validity test output of questionnaire distributed to respondents, there are 13 valid attributes and 2 invalid attributes. Therefore, from the results of data adequacy test, it sufficient to carry out product designs according the wishes or needs of the customer, which can be seen in the HOQ (House of Quality) image.

Abstract

One of the problems in the process of making cloth is the appearance of the thread which is not good. One of the causes of the appearance of the fabric is not good, one of which is the high value of the thread hair. Feathers are cotton fibers that do not get twisted in the yarn and this occurs due to the process of friction between the yarn and the metal. In the process of winding yarn on a winding machine, defects in the reel are often found, so the yarn needs to be rewound. Due to the rewinding of the yarn, the hair will increase due to the repeated friction of the yarn with the metal. For this reason, research on the causes of the increase in thread hair was carried out. The research was conducted on a winding machine using a randomized block design with three replications. The factors studied included yarn tension consisting of 10 gram, 12 gram, 14 gram yarn tention and rewinding speeds of 900 m/minute, 1000 meter per minute and 1100 meter per minute. To analyze the data using Analysis of variance (Anava). Because the expected thread hair value is as low as possible, the criterion used is the smaller the better. The experimental results show that using the optimal setting, namely the yarn tension of 10 grams, and the rewinding speed of 900 meters/minute, produces the best yarn hair value of 6.35.

Abstract

Porang tubers (Amorphophallus muellei Blume) belong to the Amorphallus genus. Porang tubers contain relatively high levels of glucomannan. Glucomannan is widely used in many industrial fields such as the food, beverage, cosmetics and medicine industries. This research was conducted to determine the sodium metabisulfite ratio levels and maceration time in the process of making porang tuber flour so that optimal porang flour is produced. Varying concentrations of sodium metabisulfite used were 0.2%, 2% and 5% with a soaking time of 1-3 hours and extraction with 60% ethanol. The highest level of glucomannan produced was when using 5% sodium metabisulfite with a 3 hour soaking process with a value of 64.575%.

Abstract

Plastic waste is already polluting the environment both land and oceans, as plastic consumption continues to increase. Biodegradable plastics are an effort to reduce environmental pollution, biodegradation plastics are plastics made from natural materials usually biodegradable plastics made from natural starch. Cassava starch is the most widely used type of starch and is developed for the manufacture of biodegradable plastics, and sweet potatoes are tubers whose starch content is quite numerous even though it has not been widely developed into plastic material. This research aims to produce natural plastics that can replace conventional plastics and reduce environmental pollution due to plastic waste. The study was conducted with variations in the composition of starch mixtures (50:0 gr, 35:15 gr, 25:25 gr, 15:35 gr, 0:50 gr) and variations in drying temperatures (40°C, 50°C, 60°C).In this study carried out organoleptic test, thickness value test, water absorption value test and degradation test. The results of this study showed biodegradable plastics that have the best characteristics are in the variation of the composition of the mixture 50:0 gr at a drying temperature of 60°C, with a thickness value of 0.11 mm and a water absorption value of 36.5%, but the rate of degradation in this variation is very slow

Abstract

Science and technology continues to develop in line with the changing times that enter the digital era. This affects all aspects of life, including education. Starting from the Covid-19 situation, the entire teaching and learning process from the PAUD level to the university level changed the method to an online system. However, in the incident in the field, there are several agencies that still use conventional methods. As in the STIE Insan Pembangunan Campus, the thesis guidance process is still done face-to-face. This is considered less effective and seems to waste a lot of time. Therefore we need an information system in the form of a computerized thesis guidance application based on Android to facilitate the guidance process. The method used in this research is User Centered Design (UCD) which places the client as the center of a system development process. Based on the results of the author's research, the application built makes it easier for students and lecturers to conduct thesis guidance and this system is efficient so that the guidance process can run conducively according to schedule. The author gives several suggestions, one of which is that the application must be integrated by the campus so that the management of the accounts contained in this system becomes easier and there is no data aberration.
