Abstract

The purpose of this article is to see the relationship between two variables from existing research results with review literature. The method used is qualitative with a literature review of scientific articles looking for relationships between variables used in this article. Literature review sources come from articles from journals, books, and scientific papers. Shadow banking and commercial banks are two things that exist in the banking world today, the results of research on this variable have not been too much so that with the results of research from this article finished adding a different reference and colour even with the description of several scientific articles from journals, books, and others. There is a significant influence from the results of several scientific articles, including (Tang & Wang, 2015), (Tan, 2017), and (Zhu et al., 2019). Other researchers may continue with the same research variables at some other time, and this article does not refute or counter, only add colour to the results.

Abstract

This study aims to capture the efficiency level of industry players in conventional joint venture life insurance companies in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Efficiency is related to the level of success of an activity being assessed in terms of the ratio between amounts of the output generated and the input used to generate the outputs in the activity. Efficiency can be measured using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, which is a non-parametric frontier approach that uses mathematical programming with 2 (two) assumptions, namely Constant Return to Scale (CRS) and Variable Return to Scale (VRS). The variables used are input and output variables, wherein the input variables include total debt, labor costs, claims expenses, investment composition of stocks, bonds, and securities issued by the government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI). The output variables used are premium income and investment returns. The type of data used is secondary data. The data collection technique used is library research. The objects used as samples were top 10 (ten) conventional joint venture life insurance companies in terms of revenues with the data obtained from the financial reports and annual reports of each company for the period between 2015 and 2021. The analysis show that investment portfolio performances derived from the company strategy acts as the main efficiency determinant in the industry.

Abstract

To share knowledge between professors and students, learning media is a common format. It is necessary to modify the learning materials to suit the requirements of different academic fields. There are several issues with this study, including the fact that the only learning resources used in schools are LKS (Student Worksheets) and limited LCD resources, the requirement for practice in the Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (C3) subjects, and the fact that schools use a moving class system, all of which make it necessary for students to access information using more efficient learning resources. The ADDIE-type development model was used to perform this research utilizing the research and development (RnD) methodology. The distribution of learning interest questionnaires among students and the results of student psychomotor skills assessments, which take the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, both serve to gauge student interest in learning. The findings of the hypothesis test were obtained following the conclusion of the study, and they are as follows. There were variations in students' psychomotor skills before and after utilizing the web-based interactive e-module learning environment with a project-based learning paradigm, as shown by the statistical sig (2 tailed) = 0.00, where 0.00 0.05 (significant threshold). Class XI Multimedia 1 contributed 45.74% of the increase, and class XI Multimedia 2 contributed 46.78%. Additionally, it was mentioned that the examination of student learning interest in created media revealed that the experimental class had very high levels of student learning interest, with 88.33% of students showing interest in materials 1 and 90
