Such institutions are necessary to achieve rural development, financial inclusion and women empowerment.  Today micro finance institutions are faced many problems. Problems of non-performing assets are considered as a big challenge for micro finance institutions. Financial illiteracy, lack of speedy generation of funds, lack of proper infrastructure, political interference and competition are the other challenges faced by micro finance institutions. This chapter made an attempt to analyze the problems faced by micro finance institutions and understand the role of micro finance in rural development

Abstract

In recent years, many children have experienced a situation where their family is not intact, often called a broken home. Divorce of parents and problems in the family certainly not only have an impact on parents but also have an impact and become a problem for children. The development of emotional abilities and resilience in children is important to deal with difficulties and problems and turn them into positive ones. This study aims to test empirically the contribution of emotional intelligence to resilience in adolescents often called with broken home families. The research sample consisted of 65 adolescents who were selected based on a non-probability method of purposive sampling with the characteristics of adolescents aged 17-21 years who had separated/divorced parents. To measure emotional intelligence variables using the Trait Meta-Mood Scale compiled by Solovey et al (2002) and to measure resilience variables using the Connor Davidson Resilience Scale compiled by Connor & Davidson (2003). The reliability value of the emotional intelligence variable is 0.905 and the reliability value of the resilience variable is 0.926. The results of the empirical mean category of emotional intelligence variables are in the medium category which tends to be high and resilience is in the medium category which tends to be low. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted. This means there is a significant contribution between emotional intelligence on resilience and the role of emotional intelligence variables on resilience

Abstract

The objective of this study is to propose a case study method application which can improve student learning outcomes and motivation in the arts and skills education course in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study adopted the Kemmis and McTaggart's model design, which involves planning, implementation and evaluation.  The data were derived from primary data on learning outcomes and learning motivation after applying the case study learning method. The study object was to apply the case study learning method. The data collection methods include library studies, observation, tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technically used a qualitative descriptive method. The study results revealed that the case study method is used in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima through conveying objectives and motivation, dividing students in groups, distinguishing cases, students having discussions, students delivering presentations, and evaluating learning. The case study method includes components of the Semester Learning Plan, media, materials, and learning objectives. The case study method can improve learning outcomes and student motivation in the arts and skills education course in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima. This can be measured by the increase in learning outcomes in Cycle III, where the completeness score was 100% and learning motivation was 96.7%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding tomato juice in fresh semen egg yolk citrate diluent to the quality of spermatozoa and the success of artificial insemination in thin tailed sheep. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design research method with 3 treatments and 5 repetitions. The treatments consisted of a solution of egg yolk citrate (P0), egg yolk citrate added 20% tomato juice (P1), and egg yolk citrate added 40% tomato juice (P2). Data analysis on spermatozoa quality included motility, viability, and abnormality using one way anova followed by Duncan’s test, while artificial insemination success included Non Return Rate (NRR) and Conception Rate (CR) using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the best diluent was found in P1 with the addition of 20% tomato juice resulting in motility percentages and viability are 75,52 ± 1,92 and 87,70 ± 1,04. It can be concluded that the addition of tomato juice had a significant (P<0,05) effect on the motility and viability of spermatozoa. The addition of 20% tomato juice in egg yolk citrate diluent can improve the quality of spermatozoa. The CR and NRR values obtained from artificial insemination with P1 diluent were 53% and 60%

Abstract

Taiwan is a country with a religious composition dominated by adherents of Buddhism, Taoist beliefs, Christianity, and practices of animism or other local beliefs, while adherents of Islam are 0.3% of the total population. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of zakat infaq and alms funds at the Taipei Grand Mosque, as well as to analyze the effectiveness of the management of zakat infak and alms funds. The research results prove that managing zakat funds, both fundraising and channeling funds for the Taipei Grand Mosque, does not carry out planning and coordination. Mosque management in collecting funds and distributing them is only passive waiting for muzaki to come to the mosque to pay zakat, infaq, and alms. Fundraising is done by opening an account at a bank and a charity box in front of the mosque. Muslim communities who are going to pay zakat, can do it by bank transfer or come directly to the mosque by handing over money in cash or putting it through a charity box. The distribution of zakat funds can also be carried out by transferring funds to a bank and distributing them in cash at the Taipei Great Mosque. Funds are distributed mainly to mustahik who are around the mosque. The distribution of zakat funds is carried out transparently, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or race, as long as the Muslim Community is included in the eight a snap. Supervision or monitoring of fundraising is carried out by the internal management of the mosque, both routinely and specifically. The government conducts audits of incoming and outgoing funds so that every mosque in Taipei is required to submit financial reports to the government

The main problems raised are how the implementation of the 5C principle of financing in Islamic banking and how the implementation of the 5C principle in the perspective of the Qur'an. The method used in this research uses a mix method, namely library research and field research, namely research conducted through literature studies and sourced from various literature, tafsir, al- Qur'an, journals, as well as data taken from the field directly through interviews and data regarding the implementation of the 5C principle of financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia. By using a normative approach, namely analysing the implementation of the 5C principle in Islamic banking in accordance with the rules or norms in the Qur'an. The results of this study found that the implementation of the 5C principle in Islamic banking is no longer conceptualised as 5C namely character, capacity, capital, condition, and collateral but has been conceptualised into 5B namely mandate, knowledge, work, pious deeds, and borg / guarantee). The application of the 5B principle will be very good if implemented in accordance with the instructions in the Qur'an, especially in sharia-based banking. So that banking is not only labelled sharia, but also in terms and implementation has fulfilled the requirements of sharia, which has implications for the welfare of the world and the hereafter

Abstract

Manual nutrition record system which still have a few of limitation, was already developed into digital information system. The nutrition information system was implemented with the hope that officers can record and report data quickly, accurately and instantly. To determine the success of the information system implementation, an evaluation is necessary. This scoping review was conducted with the intention of obtaining an overview of the implementation of nutrition information systems in the last ten years to date. After screening using the PRISMA flow, 11 articles were obtained that were relevant to the criteria used to conduct the review. Article searches were conducted on four article search engines, namely Google Schoolar, JSTOR, PubMed, and Science Direct. Through these articles, found that the implementation of nutrition information systems has a few benefits and barriers. There are also several factors that influence this, although there are still several studies that have different results regarding the influence of these factors
