This study investigates the use of Design Thinking in the creation of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications for the preservation of Bali's Lontar Prasi cultural heritage. As a piece of Indonesian cultural patrimony, Lontar Prasi necessitates a novel approach to its preservation in the digital age. This research identifies UI/UX issues of AR/VR applications based on user problems through the phases of Emphasis, Definition, Ideation, Prototype, and Test. Changes were made to the icon display, 3D character information, and UI positioning as a result. With an average score of 80 (Excellent) on the System Usability Scale (SUS), testing revealed a substantial improvement in user satisfaction. These results demonstrate that the Design Thinking methodology is effective for addressing UI/UX issues and enhancing the app's acceptability. In conclusion, this approach can serve as a foundation for future advancements in the preservation of cultural heritage using modern technology for digitized cultural heritage

This study examines the feasibility of investing in the establishment of a Regional Public Company in the field of rice distributors in the Yahukimo Regency, Papua. The investment feasibility analysis used consists of evaluating the payback period, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate Return. The analysis is also combined with various possible conditions, namely pessimistic, moderate and optimistic conditions. The type of data used is secondary data with a qualitative descriptive research approach. The results of the study show that the attitude of PERUMDA of Yahukimo district in the field of rice distribution is that the Payback Period, NPV, and IRR values show that they are feasible. The feasibility of investing in PERUMDA as a rice distributor is feasible in optimistic, moderate and pessimistic conditions. The establishment of the New PERUMDA will contribute to the absorption of rice production by the Yahukimo Regency community as a business process on the upstream side. Meanwhile, the business processes on the downstream side will have an impact on increasing PAD from the company's operating profit from the sale of rice

Taxes play an important role as the government's principal revenue to support national development. Tax contributions from taxpayers are essential in funding these programs. However, tax collection faces challenges such as low public awareness, limited access to the latest tax information, low compliance rates, and the tax system's complexity. The Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance has launched a Tax Center program on campuses, including at the State Polytechnic of Madiun. Despite being active, Tax Center PNM still uses a conventional approach. Improving service quality is a potential solution to digital transformation. Before implementing digital transformation, a preliminary study is an essential first step. This study discusses the views and perceptions of taxpayers regarding the implementation of digital transformation at Tax Center PNM. The study was conducted through three stages of interviews with ten resource persons: private employees, entrepreneurial students, and government employees. The analysis results show the importance of digital transformation in Tax Center PNM to improve services

The digitization of cultural heritage, particularly lontar manuscripts, is a focus of research to aid stakeholders in the management of lontar metadata. Managing the metadata of Balinese Lontar manuscripts through the application of ontology is one method for ensuring the preservation and accessibility of Balinese Lontar manuscripts. This research aims to apply ontology technology to the preservation of the cultural heritage of Balinese lontar manuscripts so that all information about lontar details can be categorized according to their respective properties and relevant information can be presented based on the user's preferences. This research method employs the stages of the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM) when devising the ontology for the Balinese lontar manuscript. The results demonstrated that the construction of metadata using an ontology-based methodology can provide the information required to describe, categorize, and connect ontology entities. Metadata consists of entity descriptions, hierarchies and classifications, relationships and properties, as well as the necessary semantics for constructing effective ontologies

The present study aimed to examine the role of hardiness in the relationship between mental workload and job stress among frontline bank employees in the Pematang Siantar area. This correlational study involved 53 frontline bank employees in the Pematang Siantar area. Data were collected through a self-report measure using three scales, namely the Job Stress Scale (Rollinson, 2005), the Mental Workload Scale from Reid (in Wickens & Holland, 2000), and the Hardiness Scale based on Kobasa’s theory (in Rollinson, 2005). The results of data analysis using moderated regression analysis (MRA) showed that hardiness had a significant effect on the role of mental workload on job stress in frontline bank employees in the Pematang Siantar area. Further testing with multiple regression analysis showed a significant effect between the dimensions of mental workload and characteristics of hardiness on job stress in frontline bank employees in the Pematang Siantar area

Real-time facial recognition is one of the technologies with significant applications in a variety of contexts, including supporting the process of employee attendance. Attendance is a crucial aspect of company administration that influences productivity and operational effectiveness. Traditional attendance mechanisms are susceptible to fraud and errors, so businesses must adopt digital attendance solutions. Face recognition with landmark-based anti-spoofing using MobileNetV2 on mobile devices is intended to be an innovative solution for attendance management. This system employs CNN with MobileNetV2 architecture to detect and identify employee faces in real time. MobileNetV2 is advantageous because it makes efficient use of mobile device resources without sacrificing precision. The research results demonstrate the extraction of eye and lip landmark points with the Blazeface model integrated in the Dart programming language using the Flutter framework. The implementation of the mobile system yields an application called FaceON that can aid in the prevention of potential fraud by employing anti-spoofing techniques. Before a visage can be verified, users must overcome obstacles such as winks and smiles. The contribution of this study is that this system is a dependable and innovative solution for employee attendance management in the digital age

Family is the primary socialization agent, parents as important figures have the responsibility to educate and raise their children, one of which is through communication. But, in this day, there is still a lot of disharmonies in the family caused by several factors such as the lack of parental communication education from parents to children. On the other hand, a harmonious atmosphere can be built if there is an attitude of openness and good communication within the family, both verbally and non-verbally. Departing from this matter, the researcher further discussed the topic of family communication through the film, Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini as a reflection of similar cases in real life. This research uses Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic method through signs, objects, and meanings. The results show that the father character has a dominant role with harsh communication that has a negative impact on the child, while the mother applies responsive communication that helps the growth of a positive personality in the child. Although the mother's role is not dominant, her parental communication serves as a balance to the father's communication in the family

Dug wells are a means of providing clean water that belongs to shallow groundwater and generally contains high levels of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn). The presence of high levels of iron in water is marked by yellow-brown water color and unpleasant odor. Excess iron can cause poisoning, intestinal damage, premature aging to sudden death, impaired absorption of vitamins and minerals, and hemochromatosis. Based on the observation of the researchers on the condition of the dug well water of the community in Milala Rumah Tengah Block E Simpang Gardu Subdistrict Pancur Batu, it can be seen that the dug well water is very yellow and the community uses it as a source of clean water. The results showed that the iron content of the dug well water in two houses before treatment was >4 mg/l and the manganese content in the first house was 2.60 mg/l and in the second house was 3.02 mg/l. After treatment using activated charcoal zeolite for ten days, the average iron content decreased to 0.08 mg/l (98%) and the average manganese content decreased to 0.26 mg/l (90%)
