Abstract

One of the main tasks of educational institutions is to educate students, and one way is to provide satisfaction. Satisfaction/pleasure of students can be a trigger for enthusiasm for learning and have an impact on increasing academic/non-academic achievement. Things that are directly related to this are lecturers and academic activities. Therefore, having quality lecturers and building a healthy academic environment is a necessity. This condition is the reason for this study to examine student satisfaction in learning which is influenced by the academic atmosphere and the quality of the teachers. This study uses quantitative principles, where the research data is in the form of numbers obtained through distributing questionnaires, and is analyzed using mathematical/statistical calculations, namely linear regression. The research sample was Pamulang university students as many as 380 people, with an incidental technique. The results of the study show that feelings of satisfaction/pleasure can increase student learning activeness both inside and outside the classroom, so that it is possible to increase academic/non-academic achievements. The interesting thing from this finding is that qualified lecturers and a good academic environment have a large level of contribution to students' feelings of satisfaction/enjoyment in learning. In fact, a feeling of pride was awakened, which gave birth to an attitude of love/caring for the campus and its lecturers.

Abstract

A pandemic is a health phenomenon that has hit the whole world, which has had a major impact on the fabric of life, including the economy. It was recorded that in 2020, Indonesia experienced an economic contraction due to a prolonged pandemic, causing uncontrolled economic activity, for example increasing inflation, falling exchange rates, and unstable money circulation. Based on this, this research was conducted to examine various factors that caused economic instability during the pandemic. In this research in the field of economics, quantitative fundamentals form the basis of the research, and in testing it uses statistical analysis of linear regression (cause and effect). Secondary research data obtained purposively from the national statistics center. The research data in question is inflation data, reference interest rates, the rupiah exchange rate and money supply during the pandemic. The results showed that the phenomenon of economic contraction occurred during the pandemic due to abnormal money circulation in society, because at that time many people refrained from consuming and other economic activities. Coupled with the increased value of interest rates, thus making people more careful in spending money.

Abstract

Since the pandemic occurred, the digital work model has begun to be implemented in many companies. This was done as a solution to overcoming work constraints due to Covid-19 and government regulations regarding restrictions on interactions. However, even though the pandemic status has been revoked, the digital work system is seen as more efficient in creating an effective work system and increasing employee performance. Based on this explanation, this research was conducted to describe employee performance in digital work models and information systems. To prove the research objectives, a quantitative-based survey method was used. Where the research data was obtained through distributing questionnaires, with a Likert scale as the quantification of respondents' answers. The number of samples used was 100 people, all of whom were Startup Indonesia employees, using the incidental sampling technique. The collected research data were analyzed using multiple regression methods. The results of the study show that there is an increase in employee performance with the existence of a digital and information system-based work system. Digital work systems help facilitate employee work, while information systems create communication and coordination effectiveness, so that work processes can be carried out more efficiently.

Abstract

The Republic of Indonesia Police are currently improving themselves to gain public sympathy, one of which is by providing satisfactory service. This is a concrete step by the police in creating a humane and friendly police force. In addition, providing excellent service to the community in the form of administrative services with good behavior and driving licenses is one proof of the good performance of the Indonesian police, thereby increasing public confidence in the role of the police in society. Based on this explanation, this research was conducted to see the performance of police services in the city of Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. To achieve this goal, the scientific method is used in the form of descriptive quantitative testing by presenting natural/as-is respondents' responses. The research informants were people who made documents of good behavior and driving licenses at the Mataram city police office during the period January - August 2022. The number of correspondents involved in this study were 400 people, who were taken at simple random. Based on the survey results, information was obtained that the community was satisfied with the services provided by the Mataram city police for the management of good behavior certificates and driving licenses. The community feels that the services provided are in accordance with procedures, on time, and the attitude of the service staff is friendly.

Abstract

In organizational science, a leader is seen as an embodiment of the organization, because he has the authority to use all available resources, including human beings. Therefore, the impact of the leadership role is very large. In other words, from a managerial perspective, organizations must be careful and thorough in appointing a leader, because the consequences/risks that arise are very large for the achievement of organizational goals. Based on this, this research was conducted to look at the character and leadership abilities of the head of the study program at Pamulang University. To prove this goal, a descriptive quantitative approach is used. The research informants were 75 study program developer lecturers, using a simple random sample technique. The results of the study explained that in general the leadership character of the head of the study program at Pamulang University was democratic, with the advantage of being open to various criticisms, always involving lecturers in decision making, and inviting all lecturers to participate in implementing policies. In addition, the personality of the head of the study program at Pamulang university is humane and religious, so there is no distance in interacting with all existing stakeholders.

Abstract

Taxes are still perceived negatively by the public, because paying taxes means losing some of the profits, especially in small and medium scale businesses, the obligation to pay taxes is considered a burden. Therefore, there needs to be a revolution in the application of benefits-based taxes, so that awareness of paying taxes is built. This research was conducted to look at the causal relationship regarding compliance with paying taxes among small and medium enterprises in Karo district, North Sumatra. To test this, quantitative principles based on numerical data are used, so that the research results are easier to explain. The research subjects were 100 small and medium business actors, which were taken using a simple random technique. Data analysis was performed using linear regression statistical methods with partial, simultaneous and determinant tests. The results of the study explain that compliance with paying taxes is caused by many factors. However, in real conditions on the ground, compliance with paying taxes is still influenced by the rules on the obligation to pay taxes. This is confirmed by research findings which show that increased knowledge of the obligations of preparing financial reports can increase awareness of paying taxes. Because in the financial statements it is recorded and calculated how many tax obligations must be paid.

Abstract

The growth of the online market in Indonesia is in the fast category, especially since the pandemic occurred in early 2020. In fact, there has been a shift in the way of buying in Indonesian society, especially among urban communities. Apart from these circumstances, the actual increase in online purchases is inseparable from the characteristics of the consumers themselves. That the pandemic is a trigger that strengthens the characteristics of Indonesian consumers to switch to a digital lifestyle. Based on this explanation, the motive of this study is to reveal the characteristics of the Indonesian market for the shift in consumption style, from conventional to digital. Therefore, quantitative research methods are used as an effort to scientific disclosure. The subjects of this research are urban communities in Indonesia who are used to making online purchases in various marketplaces and social media, such as Tiktok and Instagram. The number of respondents in this study were 300 people using a simple random sample technique. The results of the study explain that changes in buying behavior from conventional to online are caused by internal factors of the consumers themselves, for example the strong desire to buy online which is considered easy and economical. Then, there are indications of hedonic behavior spoiled by profitable online purchasing systems, such as free shipping and lower prices.

Abstract

In the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's leadership, the concept of village development was coined, so that there would be an even distribution of progress from upstream to downstream. Then during Jokowi Dodo's leadership, the national development scheme was focused on regional development, resulting in economic strengthening, and concrete evidence of this policy was that village funds were transferred from the center directly to the village. The aim of this policy is for villages to become the foundation for strengthening the national economy, and one of them is to give birth to regional-owned enterprise. Based on this description, this research was conducted to reveal the governance of regional-owned enterprise based on their characteristics. This research was conducted using a survey method with a quantitative approach. The research data is in the form of respondents' answers obtained from distributing questionnaires. The collected data was processed and analyzed using linear regression mathematical techniques. The research respondents were the managers of 100 regional-owned enterprise in various regions in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The results of the study suggest that regional-owned enterprise can run well if the administrators/members have knowledge of business management. In addition, the management has good integrity, for the commitment to carry out their duties truly with a sense of responsibility. Thus, regional-owned enterprise can generate benefits that are beneficial to village economic development.

Abstract

Seeing loyal, professional and total work behavior is a blessing in itself for an organization. Because having employees who are dedicated and committed to work and the company can bring progress and provide long-term benefits, both material and psychological. Work behavior beyond standards is more skewed by ingrained personality and culture. So it is interesting to study, to see how big the impact is on company performance. To prove this statement, a quantitative method was established with the implementation of a survey. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using probability-based linear regression statistics. The research subjects were employees of Perkebunan Nusantara 11 who were office employees. Sampling was carried out using the proportional method for each work unit, and the number of respondents was 70 people. The results of the study explain that the birth of work behavior beyond standards is more influenced by self-commitment or a personality that has been attached to an employee. In addition, the work model that has become a culture is a factor that shapes it. This suggests the importance of recruiting employees by looking at personality as capital in the formation of expected work behavior.

Abstract

Characteristics of a soldier's work is quite heavy, so it demands physical, intellectual, and mental endurance. This gives a signal that the success of the soldiers' tasks depends on these three forces, so special attention is needed from stakeholders within the Indonesian military. In fact, this research was conducted to test the work readiness of soldiers who are influenced by factors such as work safety and loyalty to the state. This study uses a numerical data-based quantitative research structure as a basis for building arguments. The test tool to measure research results uses a regression test which consists of a partial test, simultaneous test, and determinant test. A total of 200 soldiers were asked for their willingness to be respondents using the incidental sampling technique. This research was conducted at the Indonesian military agency, namely the 4th Infantry Battalion based in Jakarta. The results of the study stated that the patriotic and professional attitude of soldiers would grow by 66% if they received assurance of life safety and a patriotic spirit. In addition, the role of self-readiness of soldiers is the key to achieving task success. This emphasizes the importance of building the readiness of the soldiers to work, so that the spirit of patriotism grows. However, managerial ranks need to provide support for occupational health and safety, as well as motivate soldiers to love their homeland.
