Abstract

Employee performance is a key determinant of organizational sustainability, particularly as Generation Z increasingly dominates the workforce with distinct expectations regarding work conditions and leadership. However, misalignment between organizational practices and these expectations often leads to low job satisfaction and suboptimal performance. This study aims to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between work environment, leadership style, and the performance of Generation Z employees in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach was employed using primary data collected from 200 Generation Z employees selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that both the work environment and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also exerts a significant positive influence on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction partially mediates the effect of the work environment and leadership style on performance, indicating that supportive organizational conditions enhance performance both directly and indirectly through increased satisfaction. These results contribute to the theoretical understanding of Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory in the context of Generation Z and provide practical insights for organizations in designing adaptive human resource strategies to improve employee performance and retention.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies frequently encounter inventory management problems that lead to excessive storage costs or raw material shortages, which can disrupt production activities. PT. ABC, a wood-processing manufacturing company, faces similar challenges due to the variety of raw materials used and the absence of optimal inventory control calculations. This study aims to optimize raw material inventory management at PT. ABC by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods in order to minimize total inventory costs and prevent stock shortages. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach using historical data on demand, ordering costs, holding costs, and lead time over a four-month period. EOQ analysis is employed to determine the optimal order quantity, while ROP is calculated to establish an appropriate reorder point. The results show that the optimal order quantity for masker raw materials is 49 packs per order with a minimum total inventory cost of IDR 55,889, while plastic film has an optimal order quantity of 16 units per order with a minimum total inventory cost of IDR 177,146. The application of EOQ and ROP proves effective in reducing inventory costs and ensuring production continuity. These findings provide practical recommendations for improving inventory efficiency and supporting sustainable operational performance at PT. ABC.

Abstract

Despite government intervention through price control measures, price instability of necessities continues to be a persistent problem in local markets. This study looks at how well Surabaya City's Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade (Dinkopdag) monitors prices in response to Minyakita pricing discrepancies brought on by bundling practices at Karah Market. The study intends to examine how price control is implemented, pinpoint distribution obstacles, and elucidate the causes of price increases that surpass the Highest Retail Price (HET). Participatory observation and in-depth interviews with two officially designated monitoring dealers were conducted between October and December 2025 as part of a qualitative case study methodology. The results show that dealers' reliance on intermediate agencies enforcing mandated bundling sales caused Minyakita prices to rise from Rp 17,000 to Rp 18,000 per liter, above the HET of Rp 15,700 per liter. The suggested direct distribution technique has not yet evenly reached micro-traders, despite Dinkopdag's active price monitoring and identification of the problem. This study emphasizes that in order to avoid market distortion and safeguard small merchants, fair access to official distribution channels is necessary for efficient pricing monitoring.

Abstract

The banking sector faces increasing challenges in managing millennial employees who dominate today’s workforce, particularly in maintaining creativity amid performance fluctuations. Perumda BPR Sukabumi has experienced inconsistencies in employee performance and attendance, indicating potential issues related to talent management practices and work mental conditions. This study aims to examine the influence of talent management strategy and work mental condition on the creativity of millennial employees. A quantitative research design with descriptive and associative approaches was employed. Data were collected through a semantic differential scale questionnaire distributed to 35 millennial employees using a saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results indicate that talent management strategy has a positive and significant effect on employee creativity, particularly through effective recruitment, development, and retention practices. In addition, work mental condition, reflected in balanced workload, manageable mental effort, and controlled psychological stress, also shows a significant positive effect on creativity. These findings suggest that organizations need to integrate strategic talent management with supportive mental work conditions to enhance creative performance among millennial employees.

Abstract

This study addresses the increasing competition in Indonesia’s health beverage industry, which has contributed to declining sales performance despite strong brand recognition. The research aims to analyze the effect of guerrilla marketing strategies on purchasing decisions, with perceived value acting as an intervening variable, among Yakult consumers in Sukabumi City. A quantitative causal-associative approach was employed using survey data collected from 132 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered via a structured questionnaire using a semantic differential scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.2.9. The findings reveal that guerrilla marketing strategies have a positive and significant direct effect on purchasing decisions. Perceived value also shows a significant positive influence on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, perceived value partially mediates the relationship between guerrilla marketing strategies and purchasing decisions, indicating that the effectiveness of guerrilla marketing is strengthened when consumers perceive higher functional, emotional, and social value from the product. These results suggest that personalized and relationship-based marketing approaches are effective in enhancing consumer purchasing decisions, particularly when supported by strong perceived value. The study provides managerial insights for companies in strengthening direct selling strategies to remain competitive in dynamic markets.

Abstract

One operational problem that can impact cash flow, supply chain continuity, and company relationships is supplier payment delays. The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which specify a maximum payment duration of 30 days after invoice receipt, have not been fully followed with by supplier payment practices, according to internal data at PT. XYZ. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of supplier payments and pinpoint the causes of PT. XYZ's payment delays. Using supplier payment transaction data from the last three months, including invoice receipt dates, due dates, and actual payment dates, a descriptive quantitative approach was used. Company records and interviews with procurement and finance staff assisted in the data collection process. The findings show that, on average, payments are completed between 45 and 50 days following invoice receipt, which causes delays of roughly 15 to 20 days after the SOP deadline. Inadequate documentation, poor internal communication, erratic cash flow, and a manual invoice verification procedure are the main causes of these delays. The results indicate that PT. XYZ's supplier payment processes have not yet been successfully implemented and need methodical enhancements to increase payment timeliness.

Abstract

The growing demand for housing in urban areas has not been matched by equitable access to mortgage financing (Kredit Pemilikan Rumah/KPR), particularly for low- and middle-income households. Conventional bank-based mortgage schemes often face limitations related to risk management, administrative complexity, and funding capacity. This study aims to analyze how collaboration among banks, housing developers, and financial technology (FinTech) platforms can enhance access to housing finance in the digital era. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research synthesizes findings from 10 peer-reviewed journal articles selected through a rigorous screening process across major academic databases. The analysis focuses on collaboration models, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation mechanisms, and the role of digital innovation in mortgage financing. The results indicate that strategic collaboration between banks and developers, supported by FinTech solutions such as digital onboarding and alternative funding mechanisms, improves efficiency, transparency, and financial inclusion in housing finance. However, challenges remain in terms of legal certainty, data security, and infrastructure readiness. This study contributes by proposing an integrated digital housing finance ecosystem that aligns institutional collaboration with technological innovation, offering both theoretical insights and practical implications for policymakers and industry stakeholders.

Abstract

High employee turnover remains a critical issue in healthcare organizations, as it disrupts service continuity and increases operational costs. RSIA MH Jakarta experienced a turnover rate exceeding the acceptable threshold between 2021 and 2024, indicating potential problems related to compensation and employee attachment to the organization. This study aims to analyze the relationship between salary satisfaction and organizational commitment with employee turnover intention at RSIA MH Jakarta. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. Data were collected from 49 employees who met the inclusion criteria using structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale. Statistical analysis was conducted using correlation analysis and multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that salary satisfaction has a negative but statistically insignificant effect on turnover intention (β = -0.096, p = 0.592). In contrast, organizational commitment shows a significant negative effect on turnover intention (β = -0.796, p = 0.003). Simultaneously, salary satisfaction and organizational commitment significantly influence turnover intention (F = 8.804, p = 0.001), explaining 27.7% of the variance. These findings suggest that strengthening organizational commitment plays a more decisive role than salary satisfaction in reducing employee turnover intention in hospital settings.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economic resilience, yet their sustainability was severely challenged during the COVID-19 pandemic due to declining sales, liquidity constraints, and increased business risks. In response to these conditions, the government implemented the People’s Business Credit (KUR) program as a financing scheme to support MSMEs. This study aims to examine the factors influencing MSMEs’ access to KUR support during the pandemic in East Java. A quantitative approach was employed using logistic regression analysis, as the dependent variable KUR support was measured as a binary outcome. The study involved 219 MSMEs that had applied for or received KUR financing. The independent variables included installment obligations, payment difficulties, sales conditions, business profitability, business status, and business sector. The results indicate that payment difficulties, business profitability, and business status significantly influence access to KUR support, with business status emerging as the most dominant factor. Meanwhile, installment obligations, sales conditions, and business sector show no significant effect. The logistic regression model achieved an overall classification accuracy of 61.5 percent, indicating a moderate predictive capability. These findings suggest that KUR support during economic crises is primarily determined by business sustainability, legal-operational status, and financial performance of MSMEs.
