The purpose of this study is to explain the principles of character education included in the Bidayatul Hidayah book and to detail how the book is taught at the Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul 'Ulum Jombang. Descriptive qualitative research methodology is employed in this study. The study's findings demonstrate that the Bidayatul Hidayah book contains a good number of character education values. These values range from how to treat heart disease to proper behavior toward Allah and other people. The emphasis is on approaching Allah with piety and building positive relationships with other people. Therefore, using this book as a resource for character education is totally permissible. Then regarding the study of the Bidayatul Hidayah book at the Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul 'Ulum Jombang, it is the same as universities in general, such as making plans and objectives, evaluation tools and learning media, the only difference is the method used is bandongan the typical Islamic boarding school. The learning process seems conducive and the attitudes of the majority of students reflect the ethics described in the Bidayatul Hidayah book.

Learning saturation is very often found in every school both at the elementary and secondary levels. This learning saturation turns out to have a major influence on the achievement of a learning goal and even learning saturation inhibits students in understanding, interacting in the classroom, and inhibits the process of developing the quality of thinking, therefore we examine how a teacher's strategy is to overcome learning saturation in arabic language subjects. This research was conducted at junior high school AMANAH 1 Helvetia in january 2024 with qualitative methods. Boredom in learning arabic can be overcome with a combination of teacher methods and strategies in teaching supported by learning media able to overcome boredom in learning arabic at junior high school AMANAH 1 Helvetia. Two of the eight students who felt bored because they did not understand or felt that learning was difficult to understand even though one of them had studied arabic when they were in elementary school, teachers and students in the class were able to succeed in learning without feeling bored and bored in class by 75% with a combination of teacher strategies this result is quite appreciative researchers.

This article aims to analyze the legacy of Islamic education at the beginning of its entry in the archipelago, analyze the surau tradition in inheriting Islamic education and analyze the pesantren tradition in inheriting Islamic education in the archipelago. The research method used in this study is the historical method. Surau and pesantren are traditional educational institutions that have long been rooted in the Muslim community in the archipelago. Both institutions have played an important role in maintaining the heritage of education in Indonesia. Surau and pesantren not only teach religious sciences, but also moral values and noble character. The teaching methods in surau and pesantren are holistic, emphasizing the balance of knowledge, morals, and spirituality. In addition, these two institutions are also the basis for the regeneration of Muslim scholars and intellectuals. Although there are now many modern Islamic educational institutions, surau and pesantren still exist because of their ability to adapt to the times without abandoning their traditional values. The maintenance of surau and pesantren is important to maintain the intellectual heritage and wealth of Islamic treasures in the midst of modernization. Optimizing the role of surau and pesantren in Islamic education is needed, among others, by revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, and economic empowerment. Thus, the heritage of Islamic education is maintained while being relevant to the needs of contemporary society. This article provides a comprehensive overview of how the surau and pesantren traditions are not only the protectors of Islamic values, but also the glue of local culture and the support of adaptive Islamic education in the face of changing times.Â

The write-around learning model is a type of cooperative learning where each group member can write a conclusion based on an image presented. Students can hone how to think quickly, write a story, and practice concluding the pictures presented. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected using participatory observation and interviews with teachers in the field of study. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that students can tell and write a picture that is presented.

The aim of this research is to find out about the perjusa program in improving the quality of Islamic religious education at MTS Muhammadiyah 15 Medan. The program is one component to support the quality of education, especially in schools. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of field research. This research is supported by significant data collection techniques, namely by observing and interviewing students and teachers as data sources/primary informants. Meanwhile, in data analysis, the author carried out data collection, data reduction, and presented the data in the form of a short description. The results of this research show that in improving the quality of Islamic religious education, the Perjusa program carries out several activities including: 1). Conducting science seminars, 2). Performing evening worship, 3). Take a relaxing walk with the people.

The Emancipated Learning Curriculum, introduced in 2019 under the leadership of the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, stands as the latest curriculum initiative in Indonesia, evolving from the 2013 curriculum. While some teachers express appreciation for the curriculum policy, others harbor objections based on various considerations. The changes in the curriculum are perceived as adjustments to various components that support learning. To delve into these dynamics, the research addresses the following questions: 1) What are the teachers’ perceptions of the concept of the emancipated learning curriculum?; 2) What are the teachers’ perceptions of the emancipated learning curriculum policy?; and 3) What are the teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of the emancipated learning curriculum? Employing a mixed methods approach, this research used the phenomenological method. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews simultaneously, and a concurrent triangulation strategy was employed for data analysis. This involved the simultaneous collection of quantitative and qualitative data, enabling the comparison of the two types of data for convergence, differences, and synthesis. The findings of the research show that teachers’ perceptions of the emancipated learning curriculum are generally positive. Specific details include: Teachers’ perceptions of the concept of the emancipated learning curriculum fall within the good category, accounting for 61.11%. The evaluation of teachers’ perceptions of the emancipated learning curriculum policy reveals a positive outlook, with 83.33% rating it as good. Additionally, 72.22% of teachers express a positive perception of the implementation of the emancipated learning curriculum.

Perennialism is a trend in education that was born in the twentieth century. Perennialism views the current world situation as full of chaos, especially in moral, intellectual and socio-cultural life. Therefore, efforts need to be made to overcome this. Parennialists can look at the Islamic scholar of the Middle Ages, namely Imam Al-Ghazali. He was very instrumental in Islamic religious education, especially in the field of human morals. The research method used was qualitative research, or library research. Requirements for developing children's morals through the philosophy of perennialism. According to Imam Al Ghazali, learning is a mental process that requires concentration, learning must be based on an attitude of humility, learning to exchange opinions must have solid basic knowledge, learning must know the value and purpose of the knowledge being studied, and learning must be done in stages. The aim of learning is to have moral character. The conclusion of this research report is that the concept of Al-Qur'an education according to Imam Al-Ghazali is that the center of education is education of the heart because the heart is the essence of humans. So, the teacher's job is not only to educate the mind but also to guide, direct, improve and purify the heart to get closer to Allah.

This research is entitled "Students' Character Building Through Cultural Activities at SMP Negeri 2 Medang Deras District". The aim of this research is to find out how to develop the character and discipline of students through cultural activities. This research uses qualitative methods with field research. The techniques used to obtain data are interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which consists of several steps, namely: 1) Collecting data; 2) Data reduction; 3) Data display; 4) Drawing conclusions and verifying data. Meanwhile, the technique for ensuring the validity of the data used in this research uses triangulation, both source, technique and time triangulation. . To form character in students is done through treatment accompanied by awareness in students. The character formation process is carried out through several stages or processes in forming the disciplined character of students. The character emphasized in this research focuses more on the formation of disciplined character in students, which is a form of disciplined personality for students as a form of awareness, obedience to rules and self-control.

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the management of the Islamic religious education program at the Nurul Huda Mosque Pasar IV Kelambir Lima. This research uses qualitative methods with field research. The techniques used to obtain data are interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which consists of several steps, namely: 1) Collecting Data; 2) Reduction Data; 3) Display Data; 4) Conclusions and Verifying Data. Meanwhile, the technique for ensuring the validity of the data used in this research uses triangulation, both source, technique and time triangulation. The research findings from this study are that the management of the Islamic religious education program at the Nurul Huda Mosque Pasar IV Kelambir Lima is carried out through several stages starting from activities 1) Planning, 2) Organizing, 3) Actuating, 4) Controlling, 5) Evaluation. All of these stages are carried out with the aim of ensuring that the Islamic religious education program can run well.

The aim of this research is to find out the role of teachers in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an and what are the obstacles and solutions. The method in this research is a field study approach using qualitative research. Carried out at Ma'had Menara Islamic School Chachocngsoa Thailand from August to September 2023. As primary data are teachers, and secondary data are heads of foundations and students, data validity is carried out by source triangulation, data is obtained by in-depth observation and interviews, then data descriptive analysis using Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of this research show that the teacher's role in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an is carried out with: intention, motivating students, continuous murojaah and talaqqi in front of the teachers. The obstacles are; students' age, students' physical condition, lack of motivation, teacher's physical condition, and students' feelings of laziness. The solution is carried out by; carry out evaluations, provide continuous motivation, and provide extra supervision.
