Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the ability of students in learning Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung by using textual and contextual strategies in the Sibuhuan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Padang Lawas Regency. The theory used in this research is theory The learning strategy by Rusman as the main theory, for supporting theories is textual use from Nurwani and contextual from Nurhadi. This type of research is quasi-experimental using simple random sampling technique, namely the experimental class using the contextual and contextual strategies in Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung learning and control classes using conventional learning. The instruments used in this study were two, namely the cognitive ability test in the form of a test essay by using the cognitive domains C1, C2, C3, and C4. Psychomotor ability test which consists of three aspects of assessment, namely wiraga, wirasa, and wirama where each aspect consists of three components. The cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class and control class before using textual and contextual strategies are the same, by using the pre test the average value of the experimental class is 46.9 and the average in the control class is 45.5. After the post test, the ability of students in the experimental class who were treated with textual strategies and contextual learning in Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung experienced a significant increase compared to the control class. Obtained an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class of 39.9 from 46.9 so as to achieve 86.8% completeness and for the control class at 9.8 from 45.5 to 55.3%. Psychomotor abilities of students also experienced improvement in each meeting, where the first meeting reached 61.90%, the second meeting reached 75.20% and the third meeting reached 86.92%. The results showed that there were significant differences using textual and contextual strategies for improving students' abilities in learning Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung at Sibuhuan State Islamic Senior High School, Padang Lawas District. Keywords: Tortor naposo nauli bulung, bextual, contextual, cognitive, psychomotor, conventional   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa  dalam pembelajaran Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulungdengan menggunakan strategi tekstual dan kontekstual di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sibuhuan Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Strategi pembelajaran oleh Rusman sebagai teori utama, untuk teori pendukung digunakan tekstual dari Nurwani dan kontekstual dari Nurhadi. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan strategi terkstual dan kontekstual pada pembelajaran Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu tes kemampuan kognitif dalam bentuk essay test dengan mengguanakan ranah kognitif C1,C2,C3, dan C4. Tes kemampuan psikomotorik yang terdiri dari tiga aspek penilaian yaitu wiraga, wirasa, dan wirama dimana masing-masing aspek terdiri dari tiga komponen. Kemampuan kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum dilaukan strategi tekstual dan kontekstual adalah sama, dengan menggunakan pre test diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 46,9 dan rata-rata pada kelas kontrol sebesar 45,5. Setelah dilakukan post test, kemampuan siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakukan strategi tekstual dan kotekstual pada pembelajaran Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dikelas eksperimen sebesar 39,9 dari 46,9 sehingga mencapai ketuntasan 86,8 % dan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 9,8 dari 45,5 sehingga menjadi 55,3%. Kemampuan psikomotorik siswa juga mengalami peningktan disetiap pertemuan, dimana pertemuan I mencapai 61,90%, pertemuan II mencapai 75,20% dan pertemuan III mencapai 86,92%. Hasil menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan menggunakan strategi tekstual dan kontekstual terhadap peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sibuhuan Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Kata kunci: Tortor naposo nauli bulung, tekstual, kontekstual, kognitif, psikomotorik, konvenssional

Abstract

Landok Alun dance is a traditional dance of ethnic Alas people who come from Telengat Pagan village. The existence of this dance has been threatened because of the coming culture which put the existence of this dance away slowly. This research is aimed to explain about The Form Of Landok Alun Dance In Alas Ethnic Community Southeast Aceh District. To discuss about the aim of the research, it was used the theories related to the topic of the research, such as form theory which discuss about: theme, moves of dance, floor pattern, escort, makeup, wardrobe, property and stage. Technique of collecting data was done by observation, study of literature, interviem and documentation. Data analysis in the research used qualitative descriptive. The location of the research was in Telengat Pagan village Semadam Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. The theme of Landok Alun dance is happiness of the farmers who get new farms with good condition. Landok Alun dance is defined  as a smooth or slow dance, not only the moves space of the  dance which move not a far from one position to another. Landok Alun dance was a dance which have  no variety of floor pattern, the only floor pattern which wad formed in this dance was symmetric pattern. Escort music instrument of Landok Alun dance was richocet of rhyme which was rebounded like humming and the other escort music instrument was a music instrument which was made by holed bamboo. Makeup dancers was just natural makeup. Landok Alun dance used the peculiar clothes of Alas called Mesikhatclothes and head band called Bulang Buluh. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve students' dancing ability by applying the Two Stay Two Stray learning model based on KD 4.1, which is to demonstrate dance moves based on concepts, techniques and procedures according to the count and beat. This study uses theories related to research topics such as the Two Stay Two Stray Learning Model by Aris Shoimin. The research method used is quantitative methods, data collection techniques carried out by observation, literature study and documentation. This type of research is pre-experimental pretest and posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 1 class, namely X-Mia class 1 SMA 3 Tanjungbalai. Class selection is done by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was the teacher observation sheet and student learning. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' dancing skills in the Tanjung Katung dance by conducting a pres test and post test assessment of dancing ability assessed from three aspects namely concepts, techniques and procedures. The pre-test results were obtained with an average value of 45.47 students using the lecture method, after which the Two Stay Two Stray Learning model was applied to 81.68 using the t-test these results indicate that there was a significant increase in students' dancing abilities with the learning model Two Stay Two Stray t> table is 18.17> 1.69 then the research hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: Tanjung Katung Dance, Two Stay Two Stray Learning Model, Concepts, Techniques and Procedures.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan sistem kekerabatan pada upacara Erdemu bayu pada masyarakat Karo, struktur upacara Erdemu bayu pada masyarakat Karo, serta bentuk penyajian landek sesuai sistem kekerabatan pada upacara Erdemu Bayu pada masyarakat Karo. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian diatas digunakan teori yang berkaitan dengannya yaitu, mengenai teori bentuk penyajian, teori sistem, teori struktur. Penulis mengambil lokasi penelitian di Desa Hulu Kampung Tujuh Kecamatan Pancurbatu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang sejak bulan Mei 2015 sampai Juli 2015 dengan sampel tokoh adat dan salah satu masyarakat Karo setempat. Dalam penelitian kualitatif ini peneliti melakukan prosedur penentuan informasi, yaitu menentukan informasi yang tahu dan terlibat dalam upacara Erdemu Bayu tersebut. Metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan dengan tehnik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan Bapak Krisman Barus, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, studi pustaka dan yang terakhir adalah tehnik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kekerabaran pada upacara erdemu bayu pada masyarakat Karo dikenal sebagai sangkep geluh yang didalamnya terdapat rakut sitelu, tutur siwaluh, dan perkade-kaden 11+1. Struktur upacara erdemu bayu pada masyarakat Karo dimulai dengan Sebelum upacara, saat upacara dan setelah upacara. Landek dalam upacara erdemu bayu terdapat pada saat upacar erdemu bayu. Bentuk penyajian landek sesuai sistem kekerabatan pada masyarakat Karo yang dimulai dengan landek sukut/senina, landek kalimbubu, dan landek anak beru. Seluruhnya bersangkutan dengan sistem kemasyarakatan pada masyarakat Karo.

Abstract

ABSTRACT - This research method is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study was to determine the educational value of guel dance character in the Gayo Community in Central Aceh District. The theory used in this study is the theory of the value of character education by Ramli, and is supported by the opinion of the Ministry of National Education (2010: i-ii) which states 18 the value of character education but the focus of the author's research is only 4 namely, the value of character education namely religious, care for the environment, social care and responsibility. The population in this study were all the people of Takengon, Central Aceh District. The research sample was part of the Takengon community consisting of traditional figures, cultural figures and guel dance artists. The results of the four values of character education are seen from the range of movements and history of the guel dance namely the existence of hooks contained in the value of character education that refers to each value in the gayo community in Central Aceh District. Keyword: Values, Character, Dance, Guel     ABSTRAK - Metode penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai pendidikan karakter tari guel Pada Masyarakat Gayo di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tentang  nilai pendidikan karakter oleh Ramli, serta didukung dengan pendapat Kemendiknas (2010: i-ii) yang mengemukakan 18 nilai pendidikan karakter namun yang menjadi fokus penelitian penulis hanya 4 yakni, nilai pendidikan karakter yaitu religius, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat Takengon Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Sampel penelitian sebagian masyarakat Takengon yang terdiri dari tokoh adat, budayawan dan seniman tari guel. Hasil dari keempat nilai pendidikan karakter yang dilihat dari ragam gerak serta sejarah dari tari guel yakni adanya hubung kait yang terdapat dalam nilai pendidikan karakter yang mengacu pada masing-masing nilai pada masyarakat Gayo di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Kata Kunci: Nilai, Karakter, Tari, Guel

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the value of education contained in tortor Sirintak Hotang in Simalungun society. Time used in this study to discuss the value of education in tortor Sirintak Hotang in Simalungun for 2 months from the month of July 2016 until August 2016. The research is Pematang Raya sub-district , North Sumatra . Analysis of the data in this study using quantitative descriptive , to complete the data in this study , the authors conducted a field observation , interviews and documentationIn accordance with the understanding of the value of education in tortor Sirintak Hotang is work to foster public personality suitable values. Educational value contained in tortor Sirintak Hotang namely : ( a) Discipline : Discipline is the act of a person in complying with the rules applicable in public life.As for the kinds of discipline that is included in tortor Sirintak Hotang namely a. cooperation / mutual help , responsibility , never showed a lazy attitude to work , time discipline , a sense of belonging , a loyal neighbor and work groups . ( B ) Confidence : Confidence is assured on the ability and self-assessment in the conduct and beliefs on what she is doing . As for the kinds of confidence in the range of motion Tortor Sirintak Hotang namely : brave , always optimistic in doing the job , had a higher spirit , has the mental strength, have a high responsibility on himself . ( 3 ) Constancy of the soul: the soul is the strength or firmness is a provision in the soul . As for the kinds of mental firmness in the range of motion tortor Sirintak Hotang namely : Patience in the face of obstacles , self-sacrificing .

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is a study of the existence of Poh Kipah dance in Lhokseumawe community. In this discussion using the theories relating to the topic of research is the theory of existence.The method used in this research is qualitative research method. The population in this study as well as a research sample of artists and dancers. Data collection techniques include literature study, interview, observation, and documentation.Based on the research that has been done, the existence of Poh Kipah dance which is seen from three time span, first from 1959-1979, Poh Kipah dance at this time become the beginning of the show performed as entertainment on the implementation to commemorate the Prophet's Maulid and the Circumcision. Where in the past this dance only has some movements such as hitting the fan into the palm of the hand, tapping the fan handle to the floor palm. Music accompaniment using internal music in the form of poetry in chant by syeh and in addition to the fan tap. The pattern of the floor from the beginning of entry has been sitting on the stage, with male dancers who numbered eight or the whole peoples, the clothing was only wearing bay clothing and wearing a cap, where in the dance held in the field and on the yard of the mosque, the purpose of dance Inn as an entertainment event at the Prophet's Maulid event. Second from 1979-1999, Poh Kipah dance in this period nothing changed from its existence in because at this time there is no data or documents that are clear for this dance performance. Third 1999-present, in this period the existence of this dance has undergone several changes that can be seen from the addition of varied motion, the music has been changed with the addition of musical instruments serune kale and rapai, in the composition of the accompaniment, from the side of the dancer has included a female dancer In the composition of the dance, this event is still still encountered in the entertainment event Prophet's Maulid and Circumcision but now we have found also in festivals, and Culture Week of Aceh. Keywords: Existence, Poh Kipah Dance In Lhokseumawe Society.

Abstract

Hotang sirintak Tor-tor dance is a dance that originated from the movement area Simelungun looking for rattan to describe the activities of the forest . The purpose of the research is to discuss the composition of range of motion tor-tor sirintak Hotang , background preparation tor-tor sirintak hotangberdasarkan Batak Simelungun philosophy and application tor - tor koreografitor sirintak Hotang based accompaniment patterns . Theories used in conjunction with a research topic that is understanding sirintak Hotang tor-tor , choreography theory , philosophy Batak Simelungun and accompaniment patterns . Time is used to discuss research on tor - tor sirintak Hotang on the study of the concept of choreography Simelungun done for 2 month,  at the end of June 2013 to August 2013. Research site is in District Simalungun Kingdom . The population in this study is a community that knows Simelungun tor-tor sirintak Hotang , artists and dancers , the sample in this study is a part of the population , the artists and dancers who know about tor - tor sirintak Hotang . Data collection techniques include observation , interviews , library research and documentation , which are then analyzed with descriptive qualitative method . Based on the research that has been done, the concept of choreography Tor-tor dance sirintak Hotang which contains noble values ​​habonaron do bona philosophy Simelungun Society. Tor-tor sirintak Hotang has external music accompaniment, the music that was born from the outside of the human body or the use of musical instruments which means it is the accompaniment of dance accompanied by live musicians using a set of musical instruments namely gonrang sipitu-pitu, sarunei, ogung and mongmongan. The music used is the traditional music that is imbou manubung Simelungun .

Abstract

ABSTRAKNilai moral sesuai ajaran adat, agama dan filosofis dalam tari Inai  menegaskan bahwa masyarakat Melayu menjunjung tinggi sikap hati-hati, menghormati, menghargai, dan ramah tamah yang dilakukan terhadap semua orang tanpa membedakan usia, status sosial, suku dan agama. Nilai moral ini juga dideskripsikan melalui seluruh ragam gerak tari Inai yang menegaskan bahwa Tuhan (Allah) adalah yang di utamakan dalam menjalani hidup, dan yang terkandung dalam gerak tari Inai mengekspresikan bahwa dalam menjalankan adat tetap mengutamakan agama.Artinya bahwa pelaksanaan adat harus seiring dengan pelaksanaan ajaran agama. Kata Kunci: Tari Inai, Nilai Moral

Abstract

This research is a study of the choreographic form in Saragih Taralamsyah’s works as Simalungun dance choreographer. The aim of this study is to describe the choreographic form in Saragih Taralamsyah’s works as Simalungun dance choreographer In the discussion of this research, the theories related to the topic of research used are the biographical understanding, the form theory, the identity theory, and the theory of choreography. In conducting this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative method. The population in this study becomes the sample of the research which is Taralamsyah Saragih’s works. Data collection techniques consist of literature studies, interviews, observation, and documentation. According to the research, it can be concluded that Taralamsyah Saragih is one of the artists from Simalungun. He’s a son of the 40th King Raya who was born in Pematang Raya Simalungun Bolon’s House on August 18th 1918. The form of choreographic dances as Haroan Bolon tortor, Sitalasari tortor, Manduda tortor created by Taralamsyah can be seen from the function, the pattern of cultivation and choreography. Characteristic contained in Saragih Taralamsyah works can also be seen from the side of the theme, movement, music, costumes, pattern of the floor, and the number of dancers. Instruments used in the works of Taralamsyah Saragih are accordion, sulim, flute, keyboards, guitar, piano, cymbals and gondrang sipitu-pitu.
