Abstract

This research investigates the influential connection between teachers' teaching styles and stu-dent learning motivation in middle schools. Recognizing that middle school marks a pivotal stage in students' educational journey, this study employs a mixed methods approach to provide a comprehensive understanding of these relationships. Quantitative analysis reveals significant correlations between specific teaching styles and various dimensions of student motivation. Notably, student-centered teaching approaches exhibit a strong positive correlation with intrinsic motivation, emphasizing the importance of autonomy and engagement in fostering students' inner drive to learn. Conversely, traditional teaching methods show a negative correlation with intrinsic motivation, indicating the need for a reevaluation of these approaches. Qualitative in-sights from student narratives complement the quantitative findings, offering a deeper under-standing of the underlying mechanisms and contextual factors at play. Students consistently express that student-centered teaching methods make learning more engaging, while traditional methods are associated with feelings of monotony and decreased interest. These findings carry practical implications for educational practices and policies. Educators are encouraged to incor-porate more student-centered approaches into their teaching practices to enhance motivation and engagement. Teacher training programs can prioritize the development of skills necessary for effective implementation of these methods. In conclusion, this research contributes to the field of education by emphasizing the importance of pedagogical diversity and aligning teaching styles with students' motivational needs.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of comprehensive sex education on adolescents' understanding, attitudes, and behaviors related to sexual violence. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to assess changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among adolescents who participated in a structured sex education program. The findings reveal that comprehensive sex education significantly improves students' knowledge about sexual violence and consent, fosters more positive and respectful attitudes, and leads to reductions in risky and coercive sexual behaviors. The study also highlights the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in program design, noting that tailoring education to diverse cultural contexts enhances its effectiveness. However, challenges such as inconsistencies in curriculum delivery, cultural and social barriers, resource constraints, and the need for continuous program evaluation are identified as limitations that impact the success of sex education initiatives. The research underscores the need for ongoing investment and refinement of sex education programs to address these challenges and ensure equitable access and effectiveness. The study contributes to the broader understanding of how sex education can play a crucial role in preventing sexual violence and promoting healthy relationships among adolescents.

Abstract

This research investigates communication patterns in romantic relationships among the millennial generation, characterized by their extensive use of digital technology and evolving societal norms. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to explore how millennials navigate their interpersonal dynamics. The findings reveal that digital communication platforms, such as text messaging and social media, play a central role in millennial relationships, facilitating frequent interaction but also presenting challenges like misunderstandings and conflicts due to the lack of non-verbal cues. Millennials exhibit a strong preference for authenticity and transparency, valuing open dialogue and emotional honesty, which aligns with their increased awareness of mental health issues. The study also highlights a shift towards egalitarian relationship models, with millennials seeking equal partnerships and collaborative conflict resolution. However, economic pressures and financial discussions remain significant challenges, impacting relationship stability. The research acknowledges limitations such as potential sampling biases and the dynamic nature of digital communication. Overall, this study provides insights into modern communication practices, offering implications for relationship dynamics, counseling approaches, and societal norms, and emphasizes the importance of adapting strategies to support healthy and fulfilling romantic relationships in today’s evolving social landscape.

Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of character education programs in fostering attitudes of tolerance and respect for cultural diversity among elementary school students. With increasing globalization and diversity in schools, it is essential to equip students with the values of empathy, respect, and appreciation for cultural differences. The study utilized a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to assess the impact of character education on students' attitudes towards cultural diversity. Abstract

This research examines the comparative effectiveness of traditional and digital media in introducing local cultural heritage to the younger generation. With the rapid digitalization of media consumption, it is crucial to understand how different media forms influence the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage among youth. The study explores the strengths and limitations of traditional media (e.g., TV, radio, print) and digital media (e.g., social media, online platforms, mobile apps) in fostering engagement with cultural heritage. Findings suggest that while traditional media remains an authoritative source for cultural knowledge, it struggles to capture the attention of younger audiences, who prefer the interactive, engaging nature of digital media. On the other hand, digital media offers greater flexibility and reach but faces challenges related to content authenticity and fragmentation. A hybrid approach combining both media forms is recommended to effectively promote local cultural heritage, with a focus on creating engaging, interactive, and educational content that resonates with youth. The research highlights the need for collaboration between cultural institutions, educators, and media producers, as well as the importance of policy actions supporting media literacy, local content creation, and cross-media campaigns. This study contributes to the understanding of how media can be strategically used to preserve and promote cultural heritage in the digital age.
