Abstract

The development of technology also influences changes in campaign patterns. Campaign activities are part of the process of Election of Regional Heads. The aim of the campaign is to mobilize public participation, which is carried out directly or through social media. Social media becomes a channel for interaction between candidates and their supporters. Interactions that occur during the campaign period can be one indicator of the success of the closeness between voters and candidates. This study aims to get the pattern of campaign interactions that occur on Twitter social media channels. This interaction pattern is classified as a model in measuring the success of campaigns on social media. The research begins with obtaining data through the data retrieval process using the API feature provided by Twitter. Furthermore, pre-processing is carried out before data can be processed in an algorithmic method. This stage is done to improve data quality so as to improve accuracy. Naive Bayes Classifier was chosen because of a simple procedure, then Kernel Estimator (KE) was used to improve performance. The use of naive Bayes Kernel Estimator can improve model performance from 76.74% to 80.14%. Testing models with split percentage methods on several combinations get satisfactory results.

Abstract

Pneumonia is a disease that attacks almost every human being, ranging from young people to adults. Doctors often find it difficult to identify someone who has pneumonia, because pneumonia has several levels of classification, making it possible to experience symptoms that are also different. Pulmonary specialist experts classify pneumonia classification to be "mild" and "severe", making it easier for doctors to diagnose pneumonia. One of the right methods is to use fuzzy logic because it tends to have symptoms and diagnoses that are biased/fuzzy. The conclusion of testing several primary data obtained from interviews and system testing is that the implementation of the pneumonia diagnosis system with Tsukamoto fuzzy logic can help experts determine the level of pneumonia according to the symptoms experienced by the patient, with the value of user acceptance testing at 95%.

Abstract

Warehouse is a place used to store and put items owned by company. There are many activities carried out in the warehouse, starting from data collection process to management of the items. However, there are still companies that have difficulty in collecting data and management of available items. As the process of collecting goods is still done manually, it takes a long time to find information from the item. Therefore, a Warehouse Management System (WMS) was built by implementing the ABC classification method to help the company in managing items at the warehouse. ABC classification method is a method used to group items into certain classes based on the annual demand of the item. This method is used to regulate the placement of items in the warehouse. After the ABC method is implemented on the system, the company is able to to arrange the items and to obtain the information of the most needed items by consumers easier. The result of User Acceptance Test (UAT), which was conducted 3 times, states that all of user needs have been fulfilled and accepted entirely. Then, based on the results of the questionnaire recapitulation distributed to employees as many as 30 respondents, it is obtained that as many as 91.33% of respondents state that the system is easy to use and provides complete and accurate information (strongly agree).

Abstract

Continuous Integration (CI) is a software development technique adopted from the agile method. CI is widely used by software development companies, so there is a need for research to determine the impact of using CI in the software development industry. This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of CI on software and software development companies that are being developed. This research applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research method. This study has two Research Questions, namely RQ, (1) “What is the impact of using Continuous Integration in software development?” (2) “What is the effect of using Continuous Integration on the company?”. The impact of the use of CI was identified by conducting a literature search for CI which was published in 2012 until 2018. Literature search was conducted on the IEEE Xplore and Science Direct. From the search, a total of 6,514 literature regarding CI is found. Then, a screening process is carried out based on inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, and quality assessment of literature. After screening, 14 literature were selected. The selected literature met the specified criteria and could represent to determine the impact of using CI. Out of the 14 selected literatures, 13 literatures were able to answer the two research questions. Based on the SLRs that have been done, it is shown that the use of CI in software development can have good and bad effects on software and software development companies.

Abstract

Creating dance animations can be done manually or using a motion capture system. An intelligent system that able to generate a variety of dance movements should be helpful for this task. The recurrent neural network such as Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) or Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) could be trained as a generative model. This model is able to memorize the training data set and reiterate its memory as the output with arbitrary length. This ability makes the model feasible for generating dance animation. Remo is a dance that comprises several repeating basic moves. A generative model with Remo moves as training data set should make the animation creating process for this dance simpler. Because the generative model for this kind of problem involves a probabilistic function in form of Mixture Density Models (MDN), the random effects of that function also affect the model performance. This paper uses LSTM and GRU as generative models for Remo dance moves and tests their performance. SGD, Adagrad, and Adam are also used as optimization algorithms and drop-out is used as the regulator to find out how these algorithms affect the training process. The experiment results show that LSTM outperforms GRU in term of the number of successful training. The trained models are able to create unlimited dance moves animation. The quality of the animations is assessed by using visual and dynamic time warping (DTW) method. The DTW method shows that on average, GRU results have 116% greater variance than LSTM’s.

Abstract

Educational game “Ajut-ajut Kids” is developed in multimedia stages to introduce the Dayak Benuaq language for children. In this matching game, players must match two or more images and words in Dayak language. This study applies randomization to shuffle position of images and words in each round. It makes the game more challenging. Random and probability in-game agents are also applied, which will accompany children to play the kid character in Dayak clothes. Game agents, which apply the Finite State Machine (FSM) model, will provide expressions like pleasure, sadness, etc., according to the child's playing style. Random implementation and credibility in the FSM model allows agents to give random expressions. This makes the agent more natural. The result of this study proves randomization and probability have succeeded make this game more interesting and interactive to children.

Abstract

This paper presents the study of pathological vocal cords classification using digital image processing. There are six classifications of vocal cords, including the normal vocal cords condition. Before the classification process, image vocal cords are extracted to obtain the characteristics or information of objects in the image. In this study, shape measurement is used to extract the glottis contour of the vocal cords that can be analyzed and classified. The process of measuring the glottis contour of vocal cords requires the vocal image in the binary image. To get the binary image, this study uses a method to automatically obtain the glottis area segmentation without user initialization. The segmentation is mainly based on active contour, which is Chan-Vese algorithm. The result of this study can optimize glottis contour extraction and results of the classification training process using Decision Tree algorithm obtains an accuracy of 98.3%.

Abstract

Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is most found arrhythmias in daily medical practice. AF has correlation with other medical conditions and gives risk of stroke to the patient. Research for AF is interesting for multi discipline of science. One of them is computational sciences with the purpose to develop an AF detection. There are three characteristics of AF appearance. The irregularity of RR-intervals, the loosing of P wave, and the appearing of fibrillations wave. Among that three, the irregularityof RR intervals is the most used as the key feature. In this article, the irregularity of RR interval is detected using Finding Anomalies Around the Mean ( FAM). FAM is the method to detect irregularity by comparison of data based on the mean of data in the observed set. FAM has xand y parameters that need to be fixed. For that purpose, FAM is combining by grid search. This combination shows us a good performance, because the system of grid search works thoroughly and regularly. This method has been used to test the 22 patient’s data from MIT-BIH. Using the approach and the clinical data, accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity are obtained, whice are 92.63%, 95.38%, and 90.57% respectively.

Abstract

Spider camera (spidercam) is a camera equipped with a movement system that resembles the movement of a spider. The camera can move in a three-dimensional field by pulling and stretching the rope or cables arranged in a certain configuration. This study proposed the use of an inverse kinematic to control the movement of the camera. This method is seeking the relationship between the desired coordinates with the angle that must be moved from each motor that composes it. To move the motor, an analytically tuned PID controller is employed. Experimental results show that using the proposed system, the camera is successfully placed in accordance with the desired position with 100% accuracy. From motor response side, however, the system's performance still needs to be improved so that a smoother movement can be obtained.
