Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy can increase the risk of low birth weight babies, miscarriage, birth prematurely, the risk of bleeding before and/or during delivery which can cause death to mother and baby. This study aims to know the correlation between consumption of food sources of iron and intake of iron tablets on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center. This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 39 pregnant women. The data were obtained from interviews and checking hemoglobin levels. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that consumption food sources of iron at Bulili Public Health Center in the rare category (51,3%), intake of iron tablets in the low category (51,3%), and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (48,7%). While the correlation between consumption food sources of iron (ρ-value= 0,037) and intake of iron tablets (ρ-value= 0,001) on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the consumption of food sources of iron and the intake of iron tablets on anemia cases in pregnant women at Bulili Public Health Center.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that requires a standardized nutritional care process (NCP). This is because hypertension can become an advanced and chronic disease that has a serious impact on the health of the body, causing complications. This study aims to perform NCP on hypertensive patients in the Seroja Pavilion class II UPT. Undata Hospital Palu. This study is a review of research with a case study approach (Case Study), with samples 1, and was diagnosed with Hypertensive Heart Disease (HHD). The data collected were anthropometry (weight and height), food intake, food habits, client history, socio-culture, biochemical examination results, and physical/clinical examination. The data collection technique is obtained from primary data which is collected directly from the patient and the patient's family, and secondary data is obtained through the patient's medical record. The results showed an increase in the patient's food intake, namely 88.0% energy, 113.4% protein, 48.3% fat, and 95.5% carbohydrates, no change in body weight, and an increase in nutritional knowledge. Diagnoses at the start of the study included NI-2.1, NI-5.4, NC-2.2, NB-1.1 until at the end of the study being N-2.1 and NI-5.4. The interventions given included Low Salt Diet III, soft food form, 3 times main meal frequency, 2x interlude, with oral route. In conclusion, there were changes in intake, physical/clinical as well as knowledge/attitudes of patients on hypertension that had been given NCP.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is an ideal source of nutrition and the safest food for babies for 0-6 months of life. Basic Health Research Data (Riskesdas) in 2018 shows that the proportion of infants aged 0-6 months who receive exclusive breastfeeding is 74.5%, while those who do not receive exclusive breastfeeding are 25.5%. The purpose of this study was to describe the practice of exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers in Batusuya Village, Sindue Tumbusbora District, Donggala Regency. This type of research is a descriptive study. The population of this study were all working mothers who have children aged 0-6 months. The sample in this study amounted to 60 people. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis. The results of this study showed that most children were not exclusively breastfed, namely 51 children (85.0%), and only 9 children (15.0%) were exclusively breastfed. Meanwhile, most working mothers are self-employed, namely 34 respondents (56.7%), It can be concluded that most working mothers do not provide exclusive breastfeeding to their children. This is because mothers do not bring their children to work with the percentage (85.0), and most mothers do not know how to store breast milk in the freezer with a percentage (93.3%). Special advice for working mothers to pay more attention to the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Gastrointestinal diseases and several other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) together cause as much as 30% of deaths. This study aims to conduct a case study of PAGT in dyspeptic patients at the Seroja Pavilion Class III UPT RSUD Undata Palu. This study is a case study with a sample of 1 dyspepsia patient. The data collected were data on eating habits, food intake, anthropometry, as well as the results of biochemical and clinical/physical examinations. Data collection techniques used primary data (data obtained from measurements and interviews) and secondary data (data collected from hospital reports and patient medical records). The results of this study were that the patient's food intake increased from <60% to 80%, the nutritional status of the patient was still thin (no change), normal HGB from 8.9 mg/dL to 11.9 mg/dL. Clinical/physical normal, complaints reduced, knowledge about nutrition and gastric diet increased, the patient began to try to change eating habits to become regular. Initial diagnoses were NI-2.1, NC-4.1, and NB-1.1, at the end of treatment the remaining diagnoses were NC-4.1 and there were no new nutritional diagnoses. The conclusion of this study is the initial assessment of the patient's nutritional intake deficit, poor nutritional status, low Hb, and complaints of nausea and abdominal pain. The final diagnosis was NC-1.4. The nutritional interventions provided were Gastric Diet II and nutrition education. The results of monitoring and evaluation of patients experienced many good changes in food intake as well as knowledge and behavior. There was no reassessment of the patient.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Posyandu sebagai salah satu pelayanan kesehatan berfungsi memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengetahui atau memeriksakan kesehatan terutama untuk ibu hamil dan anak balita. Pelayanan kesehatan pada balita dapat dilakukan di posyandu sebagai unit kesehatan yang paling dekat dengan masyarakat. Untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan tersebut, penimbangan balita setiap bulan sangat diperlukan. Tujuan : Tujuan dari studi literatur ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pengetahuan, dan pekerjaan ibu dengan keaktifan ibu balita ke posyandu. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) atau studi literatur dengan metode dokumentasi dari 9 (sembilan) jurnal yang dikaji. Hasil : Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian ada hubungan tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pengetahuan, dan pekerjaan ibu dengan keaktifan ibu balita ke posyandu. Saran: Bagi petugas kesehatan disarankan agar lebih meningkatakan motivasi bagi masyarakat terutama ibu balita agar perkembangan balita dapat terpantau dengan baik dan bagi ibu balita disarankan berpartisipasi aktif mengikuti kegiatan posyandu di wilayah masing-masing sebagai sarana pemantauan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita.

Abstract

Gizi berperan selama kehamilan baik bagi kesehatan ibu maupun bayi dan harus dinilai secara terus menerus sejak sebelum hamil dan setelah melahirkan, terdapat kekhawatiran yang berkembang atas kekurangan gizi ibu dan dampaknya pada hasil kehamilan. Istilah gizi kurang ibu adalah kompleks dan agak ambigu dan gagal untuk mencerminkan definisi yang jelas. Mendefinisikan gizi kurang ibu akan membantu meningkatkan diagnosis, pemantauan dan evaluasi dampak kekurangan gizi pada wanita untuk mencegah hasil kelahiran terkait. Tujuan tinjauan pustaka ini adalah melihat kekurangan gizi maternal yang berkembang dan efeknya terhadap bayi. Gizi kurang ibu dianggap secara tidak langsung mengakibatkan peningkatan mortalitas dan morbiditas selama periode perinatal. Kekurangan gizi ibu harus dievaluasi menggunakan BMI, Lingkar Lengan Atas, lipatan kulit dan penurunan berat badan yang tidak diinginkan untuk pertemuan berturut-turut menggunakan skala standar. Ada hubungan langsung antara kekurangan gizi ibu dan hasil kelahiran yang tidak diinginkan seperti berat badan lahir rendah, persalinan prematur dan prematuritas. Hal ini kemungkinan akan menimbulkan efek jangka panjang. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu untuk mengembangkan strategi diet untuk mengoptimalkan nutrisi, tidak hanya selama kehamilan, tetapi sudah ketika ini diprogram untuk meningkatkan hasil kehamilan, mendorong pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak yang sehat, mengurangi risiko penyakit kronis, dan memperlambat menurunkan penurunan metabolisme yang terkait dengan penuaan.

Abstract

Dermatitis atopik adalah kondisi kulit berupa inflamasi kronis yang umum ditandai dengan gatal berulang yang parah. Gejala yang muncul termasuk kulit kering, lesi eksim, eritema (kemerahan), edema, erosi, oozing dan pengerasan kulit, yang bervariasi menurut kronisitas lesi dan usia pasien yang terkena Dermatitis atopik. Individu dengan Dermatitis atopik dalam tingkat sedang hingga berat juga dapat menunjukkan hiperpigmentasi retikulat yang didapat pada leher (juga disebut 'leher kotor') yang dihasilkan dari kombinasi hiperpigmentasi pasca inflamasi dan gesekan. Pruritus atau sensasi tidak menyenangkan pada kulit yang memicu rasa gatal sering menyebabkan trauma kulit, ketidaknyamanan, dan gangguan tidur. Memperbaiki status gizi, pencernaan nutrisi, respon imun spesifik dan non spesifik, efek menguntungkan pada saluran pencernaan dan kulit, adalah upaya untuk mendukung penggunaan pra dan probiotik pada pasien dengan Dermatitis Atopik. Namun, tidak ada cukup data dalam literatur untuk menjawab pertanyaan mengenai dosis optimal, waktu optimal untuk memulai pengobatan dan durasi yang diperlukan untuk menunjukkan efek yang menguntungkan; penggunaan probiotik yang dipersonalisasi menurut dysbiosis kolon dapat dikaitkan dengan hasil terbaik. Tinjauan pustaka ini mengkaji Prebiotik dan Dermatitis Atopik pada Anak.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi di Indonesia yang memerlukan penanganan tepat dan cepat. Berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Balita Indonesia (SSGBI) pada tahun 2019 yang menunjukkan capaian 27,7%(2) yang berarti masih lebih tinggi apabila dibandingkan dengan ambang batas yang ditetapkan WHO yaitu 20%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran praktik pemberian makan dan tingkat pendapatan keluarga balita stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel seluruh balita stunting yang ada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura sebanyak 45 balita. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data secara univariat yang disajikan dalam tabel dan narasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan praktik pemberian makan kategori baik yaitu 40,0%, cukup 44,4% sedangkan tingkat pendapatan kelurga kategori cukup 2,2% dan kategori kurang 97,8%. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa sebagian besar keluarga balita stunting mempunyai praktik pemberian makan cukup baik, sedangkan tingkat pendapatan masih kurang. Saran yaitu perlu adanya program penguatan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi pada keluarga balita stunting.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab stunting adalah pola makan yang kurang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola makan anak baduta stunting usia 6-23 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sangurara Kecamatan Tatanga Kota Palu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sangurara Kecamatan Tatanga Kota Palu pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Populasi penelitian ini adalah baduta stunting usia 6-23 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sangurara berjumlah 201 baduta. Besar sampel diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan cara wawanacara dan observasi menggunakan kuisioner Food Frequency Questionnaire dengan jumlah 67 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa makanan sumber makanan pokok yang sering dikonsumsi adalah beras (86,8%). Sumber lauk hewani yang sering dikonsumsi adalah telur ayam (61,2%). Sumber lauk nabati yang sering dikonsumsi adalah tempe (70,1%). Sayuran yang sering dikonsumsi adalah wortel (65,7%) dan buah-buahan yang sering dikonsumsi adalah pisang (86,8%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pola makan anak baduta stunting kurang bervariasi, penelitian ini menyarankan kepada ibu baduta agar meningkatkan variasi makanan sejak anak berumur 6 bulan.

Abstract

Mother's knowledge about feeding and developing stunting toddlers in Sigi Regency is not widely known. The purpose of this study was to determine the mother's knowledge about child feeding and the development of stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of ​​the Kamaipura Public Health Center, Tanambulava District. This research is descriptive research in the form of a survey, conducted in April - May 2021, in five villages located in Tanambulava District. The population in this study were all stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months totaling 45 people. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, by directly interviewing mothers of children under five about the knowledge of child feeding using a questionnaire and measuring the development of stunting under five with a pre-screening development questionnaire according to the age group. Data analysis used univariate analysis. The results showed that the mother's knowledge about child feeding was still not good at 57.8%. Meanwhile, the results of measuring the development of stunting toddlers are in the dubious category of 62.2%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the knowledge possessed by mothers of toddlers about child feeding is classified as poor, and the development of stunting toddlers is categorized as dubious. Suggestions are expected for nutritionists or midwives to provide feeding practices counseling to mothers of toddlers and to conduct developmental counseling to mothers of stunting toddlers.
