Abstract

Urban tourism development has promising prospects in the future to be developed in the territory of Indonesia, including in the city of Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands. The city is the center of night activities for both domestic and foreign tourists. The emergence of stereotypes that the attractiveness of Tanjungpinang City Tourism is still lacking when compared to Bintan Regency with all its natural tourist attractions is also a challenge for Tanjungpinang City to be able to further maximize its potential, coupled with the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic which also impacts on the rate of development of Tanjungpinang tourism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with no recognition of the population and sample, this is because qualitative research is not intended to make generalizations. Efforts to develop the Tanjungpinang City Tourism Object in the new normal era have been carried out by the local government, especially the Tanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office, this effort is made to educate the readiness of tourism actors and the community so that when the tourism situation improves, all parties are ready to facing the new normal era.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the needs of hotel consumers by using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method at Hotel Savero. The purpose of using QFD in this study is to see consumer needs (customer needs) and corrective action (technical characteristics). In addition, indicators of consumer perceptions and perceptions as well as the gap between expectations and consumer perceptions and whether there are significant differences between expectations and perceptions. The data were processed using Quality Function Deployment (QFD. The results showed that there was a negative gap between expectations and perceptions as well as a significant difference between expectations and consumer perceptions.

Abstract

Jakarta is a melting pot of cultures from various ethnics and also foreign countries. Even so, Jakarta also has a native population, namely the Betawi ethnic group, who now mostly live on the outskirts of Jakarta because of the development of the capital region. Betawi cuisine is part of an integral Betawi tribe. This Betawi culinary can become one of Indonesia's superior cultural potentials that has special characteristics, high quality and identity, and has a creative ethos and differs creativity, as well as added value economically, technologically and culturally.This research identifies the potential of Betawi culinary to support Jakarta tourism. In addition to culinary, souvenirs can be brought in the form of food and crafts that reflect cultural character. The research method was carried out using a qualitative approach with a grounded theory method. Researchers conducted a desk study activity on culinary tourism potential, compiled a list of Betawi culinary potentials, confirmed the potential of the interviewees (snacks, main food, lunch, dessert, drinks) and made conclusions. The report preparation method is carried out using literature study, field observations, and discussions with informants in the field from the Betawi Women's Association, Betawi Cultural Institute (LKB), Betawi culinary entrepreneurs, and the Jakarta Tourism Office.The achievement of this research is the identification of Ginger Coffee to be used as a potential for souvenirs typical of Betawi which contain locality elements as a basis for developing tourism destinations in Jakarta in particular and Indonesia in general.

Abstract

During pandemic, people still want to take some vacation. Desa wisata is an alternative of tourism destinations to go without connecting to many people simultaneously. Spending time by staying at homestay is an alternative way for tourists to do their vacations. The purpose of this study was to know how the service of homestay’s host gave its support to the development of community based-tourism in Desa Wisata Wates Jaya, Kabupaten Bogor. This study was conducted by using Purposive Sampling sample technique and descriptive-qualitative method which will result in findings without the assistance of statistical procedure or form of calculations in its analysis. The primary data of this study wascarried out through interviews and observation. While secondary data was taken from various written sources and documentation. The theory used was according to Zithaml dan Bitner (1996), that service has 5 (five) aspects, namely reliability, assurance, tangible, empathy and responsiveness. The result of this study could be concluded that the service of homestay’s host in supporting the development of community based-tourism in Desa Wisata Wates Jaya, Kabupaten Bogor wasconsidered still had lacks of the 5 aspects mentioned-above

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze The Effect of Food and Beverage Department Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction of KM. Kelud PT. PELNI (Persero). This study used a quantitative method with a data collection technique in the form of questionnaires and literature studies. The population of this study was the class passenger of Km. Kelud PT. PELNI (Persero). The samples in this study were 73 people obtained using a total sampling method, then the data were processed by SPSS statistical analysis. The dependent Variabel in this study was service quality and the independent Variabel was customer satisfaction. The results of this study indicated that service quality had an effect on consumer satisfaction by 0.509 or 50.9% based on the coefficient of determination of 0.491 or 49.1% explained by other factors not included in this study. From the results of the T-test carried out, with the results of the analysis of 8.575 greater than 1.667 and a probability of 0.000 smaller than 0.60, it was concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted which means that the service quality Variabel (X) significantly affects the consumer satisfaction Variabel (Y).

Abstract

Suroteleng Village (Selo Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency, Central Java) is located between the slopes of Mount Merapi to the north and the slopes of Mount Merbabu to the south. This makes Suroteleng Village potentially as a strategic ecotourism destination. Nevertheless, the local government wants to have a distinctive tourism identity, and downhill biking (cycling from the top of the mountain slope to the lower point) is proposed to be an iconic nature tourism activity in the village. Therefore it is necessary to design mobility facilities, which can facilitate tourists to easily be able to get to the starting point of cycling, which is located on the upper slopes of the mountain. The mobility facility was designed based on two aspects, namely: 1) System design theory (system engineering), and 2) Global Sustainable Tourism Council Destination Criteria; so that it meets the requirements as a green mobility based on appropriate technologies and become icon in the ecotourism area of Suroteleng Village.

Abstract

Nasi Liwet Solo adalah salah satu kuliner tradisional dari kota Solo. Nasi liwet Solo terdiri dari nasi gurih yang disajikan bersama sayur lodeh labu siam, ayam suwir, areh putih (kumut), telur kukus, dan dimakan dengan krupuk rambak. Sebagai salah satu kekayaan  kuliner tradisional, Nasi Liwet Solo perlu dilestarikan. Untuk itu, Nasi Liwet Solo perlu  didokumentasikan dengan baik, hanya saja hingga saat ini data tertulis yang lengkap mengenai nasi liwet belum banyak tersedia. Karena itulah penelitian ini dilakukan.Dua hal yang disoroti dalam penelitian ini adalah keotentikan dan keunikan nasi liwet, dimana variable keotentikan terdiri dari bahan dan citarasa sedangkan variable keunikan terdiri dari cara penyajian, teknik memasak, serta sejarah, budaya, dan filosofinya.Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian, sejak pertama dijual hingga sekarang, Nasi Liwet Solo dapat dikatakan masih otentik, karena bahan dan citarasanya masih sama. Begitu juga dalam hal keunikan, dimana teknik memasak dan cara penyajiannya masih sama. Para pedagang nasi liwet masih menggunakan kayu bakar untuk memasak, penyajiannya pun tetap menggunakan pincukan daun pisang atau piring beralas daun.Berdasarkan sejarah, cikal bakal nasi liwet berawal dari nasi gurih yang biasa disajikan dalam ritual di Keraton Solo tiap Kamis malam yang kemudian dibagikan kepada masyarakat, kebiasaan yang telah berlangsung sejak jaman Mataram Islam. Masyarakat ternyata menyukai lalu meniru. Sejak abad 19, nasi liwet mulai dijual dengan kelengkapan sebagaimana dikenal saat ini. Dalam budaya masyarakat Jawa, nasi liwet atau  nasi gurih adalah bagian penting dari berbagai ritual. Nasi liwet merupakan simbol penghormatan kepada Nabi Muhammad dan Siti Khadijah. Cara masyarakat Jawa memberikan penghormatan kepada orang yang dimuliakan adalah dengan menyajikan makanan kesukaannya. Dalam pengetahuan masyarakat, Nabi Muhammad menyukai nasi samin, maka dibuatlah tiruannya sesuai bahan yang ada, yaitu nasi gurih. Dengan memuliakan rasul-NYA, diharapkan segala hajat yang diinginkan akan lebih mudah tersampaikan dan dikabulkan Tuhan. Sedangkan filosofi atau makna yang terkandung dalam ritual nasi liwet serta kelengkapannya secara simbolik, pada umumnya adalah untuk mendapatkan keberkahan dan keselamatan dalam hidup.

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of local government in the recovery and development of the tourism sector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, in overcoming adversity due to the covid-19 pandemic and entering a new era of habits through the Visiting Jogja Apps program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, collecting data obtained through interviews, observation and document analysis. The research was conducted at the Yogyakarta Special Region Tourism Office and a number of Associations in the Tourism Business Sector and also to the management of tourist sites in a number of regencies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique is carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Visiting Jogja Apps program has been programmed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta Tourism Office to adapt to pandemic conditions and become an alternative for carrying out tourism activities that adapt to health protocols, which are useful as support for tracing visitors or Covid-19 tracers However, the Visiting Jogja Apps program is still not optimal in carrying out supporting functions in tracing tourists who are confirmed to be positive for Covid, and there is no implementation rule or Standard Operating Procedure related to tracing it self.

Abstract

In 2013 village Batulayang subdistrick Cisarua, distric Bogor West Java into tourist village because dates from outbound managed by the local people. The purpose of this research objectives is to determine the positive impact on welfare and economic growth with the application of the concept of tourist village in the village Batulayang, Bogor Districts, West Java. Research methods that were used to the research is the quantitative methods with Cartesian used diagrams of evidence. In this research researchers uses a questionnaire that will be distributed to resident of the village of Batulayang. The result and the discussion in a quadrant I namely foreign exchange earnings having a high priority because if there are guests foreign tourists and experienced a lack of financial in rupiah, so foreign tourists can use the currencies of his country in cash and bank which is to use. In a quadrat II to, government revenues employment generation, and development of local economies in dimension which means the means the means to uphold are very important. In a quadrant III, no in other words no effect on economic growth. On quadrant IV infrastructure development in a quadrant is considered less important because tourists be preoccupied with activities in the village and the tourist will use smartphone, before going to sleep but to signal and electricity are adequate. The conclusions researchers is tourist village very helpful for the economy residents and can grow economy. As a suggestion the government can cooperate with Batulayang village and private sector to create artificial attraction in Batulayang village to build marketing in the village and increase a vacancy for local residents.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the past two decades has changed the various settings of human life. The appearance of the 5.0 industrial revolution in Japan had an impact in all fields, including in the tourism sector. This era was marked by the ease of access to information through digital media. In this regard, Indonesia also does not want to be defeated, but in Indonesia the new Industrial Revolution era in the Era 4.0. This is the reason for the emergence of the phenomenon of cultural shifts from manual systems to cyber and visual, as well as in the tourism sector, especially Indonesian tourists who are millennial generations.Therefore the government program after Indonesia's independence until now, continues to try to improve industrial development with various policies, especially the tourism industry which is a mainstay at this time. The research discusses whether the program used in order to improve the development of Indonesian tourism in the face of tourist destinations with the concept of "contemporary" through a digital approach and what is the role of tourism in facing the industrial revolution in the digital economy era.The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the study were found to face current tourist destinations with 3 programs, namely Wonderful Startup Academy, Nomadic Digital Tourism and Destinations and the role of tourism in facing the digital era can be seen in marketing activities that can easily be accessed through internet media such as: websites, social media, online advertising, direct marketing e-mail, discussion forums and mobile applications. With the presence of digital marketing tourism, it is difficult to increase the country's foreign exchange earnings.
