Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and competence on the performance of the management of School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS) at State Vocational Schools in Buleleng Regency, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. BOS Fund management requires accountability, transparency, and compliance with regulations, so adequate leadership factors and human resource capacity are needed to improve performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modelling analysis techniques based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The research population is all BOS Fund managers in 14 State Vocational Schools in Buleleng Regency, with a total of 56 respondents. The results of the study show that transformational leadership and competence have a positive and significant effect on the performance of BOS Fund management. In addition, transformational leadership and competence also have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has been proven to have a positive effect on performance and partially mediate the influence of transformational leadership and competence on the performance of BOS Fund management. These findings confirm that the improvement of BOS Fund management performance is not only determined by technical factors, but also by leadership aspects and organizational commitment as psychological mechanisms that strengthen performance.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social commerce platforms has significantly transformed consumer purchasing behavior, particularly in the beauty product industry. This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming, online customer reviews, and discounts on impulse buying behavior among TikTok Shop users in Bali. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected from 100 respondents who had purchased Glad2Glow products through TikTok Shop using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results show that live streaming has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, indicating that interactive product demonstrations and real-time communication between sellers and consumers can stimulate spontaneous purchasing behavior. Online customer reviews also have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying, as positive and credible reviews increase consumer trust and reduce uncertainty in purchase decisions. In addition, discounts were found to significantly influence impulse buying behavior by creating a perception of higher value and a sense of urgency among consumers. These findings highlight the important role of digital marketing strategies in shaping consumer purchasing behavior on social commerce platforms. The study provides practical implications for online sellers and digital marketers to optimize live streaming activities, encourage positive customer reviews, and implement effective discount strategies to enhance consumer engagement and increase impulse buying behavior.

Abstract

Progress in information technology has led banks to launch digital offerings through mobile banking platforms, such as BRImo. This research intends to examine how usage frequency and user-friendliness affect individuals’ satisfaction with the BRImo application among students residing in the Greater Solo region. A quantitative methodology was adopted for this study, utilizing a survey technique. The target population included 50,996 students from Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara (UNIVET) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). A convenience sampling approach was applied, yielding a participant group of 100 individuals. Data was gathered using a questionnaire that featured a five-point Likert scale and was analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics involving validity assessments, reliability evaluations, classical assumption analyses, multiple linear regression evaluations, partial tests (t-tests), and R² determination coefficient tests. Findings reveal that the frequency of use positively and significantly impacts user satisfaction regarding the BRImo application. In contrast, user-friendliness does not significantly affect user satisfaction. The determination coefficient shows that 10.7% of the changes in user satisfaction can be attributed to the factors of usage frequency and user-friendliness, while the rest is affected by other elements not included in the research framework. This study aspires to offer insights for Bank Rakyat Indonesia on enhancing the service quality of the BRImo application and to serve as a basis for future investigations into mobile banking user satisfaction. Keywords: Frequency of Use, Ease of Use, User Satisfaction, BRImo, Mobile Banking.

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the effects of Digital Entrepreneurial Marketing (DEM) and Green Product Innovation (GPI) on MSME Marketing Performance (MP), investigates the interaction between digital and green capabilities, and analyzes the moderating role of Gen Z Entrepreneurial Orientation (GZEO) in strengthening this relationship. Methodology/approach – A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using data collected from 110 Gen Z entrepreneurs managing food and beverage MSMEs in Bali, Indonesia. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The analysis included measurement model assessment, structural model evaluation, and bootstrapping for hypothesis testing. Findings – The results show that Digital Entrepreneurial Marketing has a positive and significant effect on MSME Marketing Performance (β = 0.284; p = 0.004), while Green Product Innovation also has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.246; p = 0.012). Moreover, the interaction between DEM and GPI significantly improves marketing performance (β = 0.221; p = 0.020). Gen Z Entrepreneurial Orientation positively moderates the effect of digital-green capability integration on marketing performance (β = 0.198; p = 0.029). The model explains 61.2% of the variance in MSME Marketing Performance (R² = 0.612), indicating substantial explanatory capability. Originality/value – This study contributes to the MSME literature by conceptualizing digital entrepreneurial marketing and green product innovation as complementary and interacting strategic capabilities rather than merely independent predictors of performance. It further identifies Gen Z entrepreneurial orientation as a boundary condition that strengthens the performance benefits generated by digital-green capability integration in Gen Z-led food and beverage MSMEs. Keywords: Digital Entrepreneurial Marketing; Green Product Innovation; Gen Z Entrepreneurial Orientation; MSME Marketing Performance; Digital-Green Capability Integration; PLS-SEM.
