Abstract

Floods are one of the natural disasters that frequently occur in Indonesia and can cause significant losses, both in material damage and human casualties. Recently, high rainfall intensity in Bandar Lampung City has increased the potential risk of flooding in several areas. Therefore, a water level monitoring system capable of providing rapid information is needed as part of disaster mitigation efforts. This study aims to design and simulate an Internet of Things (IoT)-based flood monitoring and early warning system using the ESP32 microcontroller and HC-SR04 Sensor ultrasonik. The system was designed and tested through simulation using the Wokwi platform and integrated with Node-RED via the MQTT protocol for data transmission and visualization on a web-based monitoring dashboard. The system performs periodic water level measurements every five minutes and displays water status based on predetermined threshold levels. Simulation results show that the system can transmit data in real time and display water level information on the monitoring dashboard. Therefore, the proposed system has the potential to be implemented as a flood monitoring and early warning solution to improve community preparedness in flood-prone areas, particularly in Bandar Lampung City.

Abstract

Extended Reality (XR) technology represents a promising advancement for intelligent transportation systems by enhancing traffic monitoring, situational awareness, and operator interaction. Despite progress, conventional vehicle tracking systems continue to exhibit limitations, such as inaccurate trajectory estimation, restricted risk prediction capabilities, and non-intuitive visualization interfaces. This study introduces XR-VITS (Extended Reality Vehicle Intelligent Tracking System), an integrated framework that unifies YOLO-based vehicle detection, Kalman filter-based multi-object tracking, homography-based real-world coordinate mapping, trajectory prediction, collision risk assessment, and immersive XR visualization within a single traffic monitoring architecture. The framework was evaluated on diverse traffic datasets, including urban, highway, adverse weather, and low-light scenarios. Experimental results indicate that XR-VITS achieved a Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy (MOTA) of 89.3% and an Identification F1 Score (IDF1) of 86.2%, surpassing several state-of-the-art tracking methods, such as DeepSORT, StrongSORT, ByteTrack, and QDTrack. Additionally, the system attained a collision risk prediction F1-score of 86.4% while maintaining real-time processing at 25.1 FPS. The XR visualization module further enhanced operator situational awareness and reduced response times compared to conventional 2D monitoring systems. These results demonstrate that XR-VITS provides an effective and scalable solution for next-generation intelligent transportation systems requiring predictive intelligence, immersive visualization, and real-time traffic monitoring.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of brand awareness among student-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which is mainly caused by the suboptimal implementation of digital marketing strategies, particularly content marketing. The main problem addressed in this research is how content marketing strategies can improve brand awareness among student MSMEs. This study aims to analyze the effect of content marketing on brand awareness and to identify effective content strategies that support such improvement. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 student MSME actors in the Padang Bulan area. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using simple linear regression and t-test. The results indicate that content marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, with a regression coefficient of 0.68 and a significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05). Additionally, about 78% of respondents actively use social media for marketing purposes, while only 65% have structured content strategies. This finding suggests that improving content quality, creativity, and consistency can significantly enhance brand awareness. Abstract

The rapid growth of digital information systems has increased the vulnerability of sensitive data stored in SQL databases against various security threats, including unauthorized access, data theft, and manipulation. This study aims to enhance the security of SQL database records by developing a hybrid encryption method that combines the modified 32-bit MAGENTA algorithm with the Bit Rotation technique. The proposed method converts every four characters of plaintext into a 32-bit binary representation before applying the modified MAGENTA encryption process, followed by a 4-bit left rotation to increase diffusion and ciphertext complexity. Experimental testing was conducted on student grade records consisting of NIM, course code, and grade fields. The results demonstrate that the combination of 32-bit MAGENTA and Bit Rotation produces highly randomized ciphertext that is difficult to analyze. The decryption process successfully restores the original data without any information loss. Performance evaluation shows that the proposed method maintains the original data length and supports the full ASCII character range (0–255) with acceptable processing time. This hybrid approach provides a stronger security level compared to the use of a single encryption method, making it a promising solution for protecting sensitive records in SQL databases.

Abstract

The growth of electronic commerce (e-commerce) in Indonesia has led to an increase in user review volumes on digital platforms, including the Tokopedia application on the Google Play Store. The large number of reviews makes manual analysis inefficient and difficult to perform quickly for service evaluation purposes. This study develops a sentiment classification system by integrating Naïve Bayes, TF-IDF, and PySastrawi in a Flask-based web dashboard for real-time prediction. The method used is the Naïve Bayes algorithm with Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) feature extraction and five stages of text preprocessing using PySastrawi, namely case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming. The dataset was collected through a Google Play Store scraping process consisting of 5,000 reviews. A total of 278 three-star reviews were removed due to semantic ambiguity, resulting in a final dataset of 4,722 reviews consisting of 2,424 negative and 2,298 positive sentiments. The data were split using an 80:20 ratio into 3,777 training data and 945 testing data. The experimental results show an accuracy of 86.14%, precision of 87.18%, recall of 86.14%, and F1-score of 86.00%. For the negative class, precision and recall were 80% and 98%, respectively, while for the positive class, precision and recall were 97% and 75%, respectively. This study produces an integrated web dashboard system capable of presenting data visualization, model evaluation, and real-time sentiment prediction directly through a web interface.
