Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the orientation of the Pelgang in giving their right to vote in the Village Head Election in Karama. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive type. The author determined the informants purposively. The author collected data through interviews and literature review. The results of the research show that Pelgang's political orientation in the election of the Karama Village Head is reflected in Cognitive Orientation, Affective Orientation and Evaluative Orientation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze Elisabeth Nauw's victory in the 2019 Sorong City legislative election through political marketing and the social capital used. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out through direct field observations, in-depth interviews with informants, and literature reviews through published articles or journals related to the author's research focus. For the technique of determining informants, the author chooses people who are considered capable of answering questions related to the focus of the author's research. The results of this research describe Elisabeth Nauw's victory, namely first, Elisabeth Nauw is a personal characteristic of a leader or candidate who provides an image, symbol or political product in an election. Second, promotion in this case won constituent votes, Elisabeth Nauw was assisted by the winning team, and campaigned via social media. Third, the price is the total cost of campaign activities carried out by the candidate and winning team. Fourth, a place is an area where the majority of the population has the same ethnicity as the candidate so that it is easy to get constituent votes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine Yonas Howay's leadership style in increasing the electability of the Sorong City Democratic Party in the 2019 Legislative Election and the obstacles that hinder Yonas Howay's efforts to increase the electability of the Sorong City Democratic Party. This research was conducted in Sorong City, Southwest Papua using a descriptive qualitative approach where data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative, namely in the form of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that Yonas Howay's leadership style is a democratic leadership style where democratic decisions are made in an open atmosphere which is the result of deliberation and consensus so that it is not felt as coercion and his efforts are to increase the electability of the party by socializing with the community and distributing basic necessities to less fortunate people. Meanwhile, the obstacles in increasing the electability of the Democratic Party are the lack of leadership assertiveness, emotional closeness and financial capability.

Abstract

Pos Indonesia is required to meet the needs of consumers, as well as become a level of measurement in the quality of the products provided with the aim of maintaining its existence. This research aims to determine the quality of service at the Aimas Post office as a formulation of service quality indicators and what factors encourage and inhibit the quality of public services. The method used is descriptive with qualitative data analysis. The technique for determining informants is through purposive sampling, and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, data sources and documentation. For data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification, and finally the validity of the data which will be carried out through credibility, transferability, reliability and confirmability tests. The results of the research show firstly, the level of service quality at the Aimas Post Office is almost entirely good, but there is a lack of dimensions in the supporting facilities at the Aimas Post Office. Second, the lack of factors driving service quality is the lack of an application or suggestion box at the Aimas Post office. Third, the inhibiting factor is the absence of intensive staff provision at the Aimas Post office.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation and benefits of using Big Data in e-KTP public services in the Sorong City Dukcapil Office as well as the potential for further development and improvement of the e-KTP public service system using Big Data. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity maintained through credibility tests. The research results show that the use of Big Data has increased efficiency in e-KTP services with a faster and more efficient processing process. Centralized and well-integrated e-KTP data has resulted in high data accuracy. Cross-sector collaboration has enabled the exchange of necessary information and increased data accuracy. Big Data analysis helps understand population profiles and service needs,and improves access to services. The use of Big Data also provides significant benefits for governments, including administrative efficiency, data-based decision making, and resource optimization.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how, obstacles and solutions to the synergy of the Regional Government and the Regional People's Representative Council in Supervising Special Autonomy in Sorong Regency. The research approach used uses Qualitative Research. The selected informants consisted of the Head of the BPKAD Budgeting Division; Head of Sub. BPKAD Treasury Technical Development and Guidance Sector; Head of BPKAD Verification Division; Head of the Legal and Trial Section of the DPRD Secretariat. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that: (1) BPKAD and Sorong Regency DPRD in carrying out supervision related to Special Autonomy are considered to be still not optimal, this is judged from the relationship between these two agencies which has not been established well enough. (2) Obstacles that arise in the supervision of Special Autonomy by BPKAD and DPRD include, among others, the community is not really involved in monitoring Special Autonomy, the Papuan People's Assembly (MRP) does not play an active role, there is a lack of communication between DPRD and Regency Government, and the DPR faction has not yet been formed. Special Autonomy at the district/city level. (3) The solutions offered by the resource persons as an offer to the obstacles experienced include: strengthening relations between BPKAD and DPRD as the control holder over the supervision of Special Autonomy in Sorong Regency, the community is involved in the supervision of Special Autonomy, the MRP is guided more actively in the process of monitoring Special Autonomy as an extension of the indigenous Papuan community, as well as the formation of a DPRP at the Regency level.
