Abstract

This study aims to estimate the value of the community's Willingness to Pay (WTP) towards the preservation of water resources in Sukadamai Village and to estimate the economic value of water resources in Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor, West Java. This research was conducted in February to March 2020, using primary and secondary data with random sampling methods and the respondents as many as 30 people. Analysis of the data used is quantitatively using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Contingent Valuation Method is a method of gathering information about people’s preference or willingness to pay with direct questioning techniques. The results showed that the water resources in Sukadamai Village has several problems in the payment of fees and waste problems. The analysis also shows that of the 15 respondents, there were 5 respondents who were willing to pay more with an average Willingness to Pay of Rp 11,667 / KK / month using non-parametric calculations of Turnbull and K-M-T techniques. The estimation of the economic value of the water resources in Sukadamai is Rp. 28,747,488. The results of the analysis show that public awareness about the importance of the water resources existence in Sukadamai Village is still very low. Abstract

Neglasari Village is one of the villages producing agricultural products where most of the community work as crystal guava farmers who plant it with a monoculture or intercropping system. Farmers produce crystal guava products to sell it to consumers in order to earn profits through marketing activities. This activity aims to analyze the marketing chain system of crystal guava and analyze the gross marketing margins on every marketing actors of crystal guava in Neglasari Village. The method used in this activity is the interview method and strengthened by literature review. Interview data were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. There are three marketing chains for guava crystal that farmers can choose from, that is selling directly to consumers, selling through Poktan or Gapoktan, and selling through collectors (middlemen). From that three channels, the marketing chain by selling directly to consumers has been proven to provide the highest gross marketing margin to farmers while the lowest margin is obtained if it is through middlemen. This report is expected to be a policy reference in improving the marketing system of guava crystals in Neglasari Village on effort to improve the welfare of marketing actors, especially farmers as producers. Abstract

Empowerment of elderly self-health in RW 01 Situ Gede Village can begin through the role of Posbindu Melati. Posbindu activities encourage the realization of empowerment of the elderly to increase health awareness. The purpose of this study is to 1) to describe the Posbindu Melati program; 2) to identify the health conditions of the elderly in RW 01, Situ Gede Urban Village; 3) to analyze the achievement of the principle of empowerment; 4) as well as analyzing the impact and response of the community related to the Posbindu Program. Methods in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation studies, as well as direct health examination practice. The results showed that the elderly's self health empowerment program in Posbindu Melati included health checks, elderly gymnastics, and health promotion. The program supports the improvement of erderly’s health which can be accepted in a healthy condition, only a few elderly who have complaints of non-communicable diseases (PTM). The implementation of the principle of empowerment has also been successful in empowering the self-health of the elderly. The impact obtained from the Posbindu Melati program is that elderly become more aware of health problems so that they pay more attention to their daily lifestyle. The role of Posbindu Melati in empowering the health of the elderly has also received a positive responses from the community. Keywords: elderly, empowerment, health, posbindu program

Abstract

Beef is one of a variety of food products that are considered to have good nutrition for the protein needs of the community. Fresh meat is meat that has not been processed and or not added to any ingredient. Frozen meat is fresh meat that has undergone a freezing process in a blast freezer with a minimum internal temperature of -18 ° C. The purpose of this study was to determine perception of situgede village, bogor city on imported frozen beef and local fresh beef. The method used was interviewing informants of 16 random housewives in 10 RW and literature review. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the interviews with all the interviewees were of the opinion that imported frozen beef is pale, the texture of the meat is rather coarse, fat (marbling) a lot and white, it does not absorb seasonings after cooking a lot of fat so it becomes juicy, the aroma does not smell. While local beef is fresh, the color of fresh red meat, large fibrous texture, little fat (marbling), the taste of meat, the aroma of meat does not smell foul. The physical quality of imported frozen beef is better than fresh local beef and the price is cheaper. However, people prefer local fresh beef. This is because the purpose of cooking the community in Situgede is cooked in a long time, namely rendang, stews etc. Further research needs to be done on the physical and chemical characteristics of imported frozen beef and local fresh beef, providing knowledge and socialization about the physical and chemical quality of imported beef so that people know the true quality of the meat. Abstract

PT Rumah Rumput Laut (RRL) is one company that produces cosmetic products from processed seaweed. Seaweed processing is one way to increase the industry's absorption of seaweed commodities which is still low in Indonesia, especially non-food products. The location of the company is in Bogor Regency. In the midst of a pandemic of the Covid-19 epidemic, cosmetic competition will continue. The purpose of this research is to describe the cosmetic products made from seaweed, knowing the quality and competitiveness of cosmetics made from seaweed in the market before and after the Covid-19 outbreak. Cosmetic products from PT Rumah Rumput Laut are divided into three categories, namely mask, cream, and pomade. Data collection method is done by interviewing the company manager. The company is still producing amid the Covid-19 outbreak. However, the amount of production and sales decreased amid this Covid-19 outbreak. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of AKA UMKM bag handicraft as well as knowing what strategies should be carried out for marketing based on these factors. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is done by identifying and analyzing internal and external factors that influence the basic components of the SWOT analysis. Strategies that can be applied in marketing AKA UMKM bag crafts are SO (Strength-Opportunity) Strategyby increasing the craftsmen's human resources in order to improve product competitiveness and strengthen capital, promote and maintain good relations with suppliers to ensure the continuity of raw materials. WO (Weakness-Opportunity) strategy by optimizing the use of various media in increasing the promotion and utilization of government facilities to increase innovation, capital, production management, and marketing. ST (Strength-Treath) strategy through increasing product efficiency and maintaining consumer confidence with guaranteed quality through good production management. WT (Weakness-Treath) strategy by increasing product innovation and promotion by observing market developments and improving production data records. AKA UMKM have not been maximized in implementing SWOT combination strategies so that their application needs to be improved in the future so that AKA UMKM will be more developed. Abstract

Sukawening Village is a village dominated by farming communities. Agricultural products are obtained by farmers in this village still unoptimal. One contributing factor is the quality of fertilizer used. Bokashi fertilizer is a fertilizer that is rich in nutrient content and can increase significant agricultural yields. Therefore, the SUIJI 2020 students in Sukawening Village educated farmers on how to make bokashi fertilizer. The purpose of education in making bokashi fertilizer for farmers is that farmers can make bokashi fertilizer independently and produce more agricultural yields so that the agricultural benefits obtained are greater. The effect of bokashi fertilizer on plant growth will be discussed in this journal. The method used is interview with farmer in Sukawening Village and IPB University students that focused of plantation engineering as well as literature studies from relevant journals. Data from interview will compare with data from literature and then make the concusion. The results of this study were application of bokashi fertilizer to plants give significant effect seen with high fruit weight. Based on a literature, cucumber plants using bokashi fertilizer mixed with NPK fertilizer produces a weight of 88.93 tons /ha while based on interviews, cucumber plants in Sukawening Village using manure mixed with NPK fertilizer produce fruit with minimum weight 30 tons/ha . Microorganisms and organic compounds in Bokashi fertilizer influence the increase nutrients so that it supports plant growth. Bokashi fertilizer has potential to increase agricultural output in Sukawening Village and hoped this fertilizer can be used sustainably. Abstract

Water is a living medium of aquatic organisms. Water plays an important role in aquaculture. Good water quality will determine the survival of the fish being cultivated. Recirculation is an effort to maintain water quality and overcome water problems in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond. This activity was carried out in RW 4 of Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency which aims to analyze the potential of fisheries in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond, the use of recirculation to maintain water quality. This activity was carried out on Friday, February 28, 2020 in the House of Pak Nadi RW 4, Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The data collection method is by interview and analyzed descriptively. The results of this activity found that the quality of the waters in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond was quite good because it directly used natural springs. Recirculation can be used to overcome the problem of far springs from the location of cultivation so that water can be reused. The use of filters can optimize the recirculation system in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond. The conclusion is that the problem of water quality is not too felt by farmers in Sukadamai Village. Keywords: resirculation, tilapia, water quality

Abstract

Village community health development is a non-governmental activity aimed at improving the quality of public health through improving the health and nutritional status. The success of the implementation of public health development that aims to improve the quality of public health in the village of Sukawening cannot be separated from the various supports and active roles carried out by the entire community. In this case the big role is the role of the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) which is directly dealing with various social problems including health problems faced by the community. This study aims to determine the perception of the Sukawening Village community on the posyandu program, the role of the posyandu in improving the quality of maternal and child health, and posyandu as a community health center. The prioritization of the problems raised in this study is how the role of the Posyandu cadre in Sukawening Village in improving the quality of public health, especially mothers and children. Data collection was obtained through interviews and observations. Posyandu has an important role in improving the quality of maternal and child health through health service processes such as carrying out family planning services, nutrition, immunization, diarrhea prevention, and MCH. Sukawening village, especially RW 05, shows that the Posyandu program in the hamlet still needs to be evaluated. This is illustrated by the presence of toddlers who are still suffering from malnutrition. Keywords: Sukawening village, quality of public health, public health developments, posyandu.

Abstract

Humans are one of the elements that can give change through their behavior, one of which is environmental change. Environmental education is carried out consciously and repeatedly or continuously with the aim that the community has awareness and concern for the state of natural resources and all its problems. Sukawening Village is one of the villages in the District of Dramaga which is a village that has major environmental problems regarding waste. This paper aims to examine the activities of environmental education in Sukawening Village and the problems that constrain the implementation of the environmental education program. The author's focus on this activity is the strategy of developing environmental education in Sukawening Village as a reference for the general public, and the village government in particular in overcoming environmental problems in Sukawening Village in order to create a clean and healthy environment.The approach used in this activity includes a qualitative method (SWOT analyze) for reviewing strategies for developing environmental education. Data collection was obtained through interviews and field observations. Based on the SWOT approach taken, the main strategy in the development of environmental education for the people of Sukawening Village is based on traditional wisdom and focus on improving community skills in local resource management. One of the recommendations given by the author is to improve environmental education in Sukawening Village, one of which is that environmental education must be a priority program for the Sukawening village government so that waste problems can be properly addressed and can increase public awareness in protecting the environment.
