Abstract

Pemberian edukasi kepada sekelompok masyarakat merupakan suatu upaya dalam mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19. Panduan Pintar (PAPI) sebagai media edukasi Covid-19 di RW 08 Kelurahan Pengasinan Kota Bekasi merupakan salah satu program yang didasari oleh imbauan pemerintah Indonesia yang dinamai Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19 dan ini juga merupakan salah satu program kami selaku peserta KKN-T IPB 2020 di Desa Pengasinan. Program ini bertujuan untuk menggerakkan tokoh masyarakat RW 08 untuk berperan aktif dalam memastikan warganya untuk menjalankan prosedur yang disarankan oleh pemerintah dengan sebaik-baiknya, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga RW 08 mengenai Covid-19 dan langkah-langkah pencegahannya. Program ini terdiri dari empat kegiatan yaitu kegiatan penyuluhan 1 (perilaku hidup bersih), Kegiatan Penyuluhan 2 (New Normal), dan kegiatan penyuluhan 3 (peran keluarga dimasa pandemi). Warga RW 08, Kelurahan Pengasinan telah mendapatkan booklet PAPI (Panduan Pintar Covid-19) sehingga diharapkan warga RW 08 dapat melanjutkan kegiatan produktif selama masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Bubulak Village is one of the villages in West Bogor District that located near the center of Bogor City. Easy access for transportation and it’s location that located near the city center are two factors that can be an opportunities for rural communities to empower rural economic through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of writing this report is to identify problem and the alternative solution for the MSMEs located in Batuhulung Village, Bubulak Village, Bogor. The method that used to write the report was descriptive qualitative method and supported by primary and secondary data. The sample was determined through the Purposive Sampling method and the data was collected using interview and direct observations. There are two main problems that MSMEs Batuhulung Village face in order to develop themself. The first problem is capital and the second problem is the limited human resources.

Abstract

Education is an effort to humans develop knowledge and potential, superior human resources (HR) is affected of external and internal factor, external factor is environment, culture and teacher whereas internal factor is family. The family has a function for as good place in carrying private and social education. Indonesia’s education index still in the low position, meaning that it need a support not only from the government but also the role of the family. This report aim to analyze the effect of social support on student in Neglasari village. The methods used in this research are interview, observation and literature study. Communities in Neglasari still lack of understanding related to education, on the one hand the community hopes that children can continue their study to the higher level but have are limited by family economic problem. Child friendship environmental factor can affect education, negative environmental factors have a risk not continue grade and graduating from school. Lack of parent motivation as a child ages have an affect decrease children motivation.

Abstract

Tempeh is one of Indonesian traditional foods, made from soybean or some other ingredientswhich is processed through fermentation from tempe yeast that have a lot of mold Rhizopus sp.The purpose of this activity is to find out the support factors that influence the quality of tempe inSukawening Site. These factor includes is soybean, process water, yeast, fermentation time andtemperature of fermentation. This activity was conduct by interviewing and visiting house tempeproduction in Sukawening Village. The ingredients for making tempeh is soybean, which is imporsoybean because the size of soybean is big, use process water by groundwater because the cost islow , and use yeast by local yeast bought from market. Fermentation time around two days andtemperate of storage’s tempe process on the roof close to asbestos is around 29,23 0C. Supportingfactors for the quality of tempeh are the ingredients used in the manufacture of tempeh and resupported by proper washing soybean and the use of good of yeast as well as proper curing time.Suggestion for further activities is further quantitative research is conducted on supporting factorsin making tempeh.

Abstract

Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. Smith (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is a new pest in maize cropping inIndonesia. These insects originated in the Americas and have spread to several countries and causecrop loss in corn. Beginning in 2019, this pest has reportedly attacked corn plants in the Sumatraregion. This activity aims to find out the existence of S. frugiperda in the area of Petir Village,Dramaga Sub-District, Bogor District. The survey results show that S. frugiperda has attacked thecorn crop in Petir Village. Specific characters found in S. frugiperda are inverted "Y" in the headcapsule and a black dot pattern on the abdomen (point four and trapezoid). S. frugiperda larvae found in the village of Petir attack the corn growing point, but the population is still low. Entropathogenicfungi are bioinsecticides that can be used to control pests. Metarizhium rileyi is an entomopathogenicfungus that has the potential to control S. frugiperda in maize. The results indicated that M. rileyi waseasily propagated en masse in agar medium and in good virulence in S. frugiperda.

Abstract

Taro is one of Bogor's typical agricultural commodities. One type of taro planted is taroTaiwan. The high demand for Taiwan's taro commodity (Colocasia esculensta var. Taiwan) fromTaiwan and Thailand, then sent the Taiwanese taro commodity (Colocasia esculensta var. Taiwan)planting commodities wider. This study aimed to analyze the system of processing, largeproduction and productivity, substancial net income, and economic analysis review of taiwan tarofarm commodities in Saluyu Farmer Group 1 Situgede Village, West Bogor District, Bogor City,West Java Province. The research method involves taking sample by using census method, datacollection taken from secondary and primary data, data analysis using the formula π = TR-TC(net income), R / C Ratio to measure the feasibility of farming economically. The system of processing taiwan taro farming carried out in the area of research in the form of land preparation,planting, fertilizing, and landfill that still relatively modest yet as recommended by the literature(according to Hodijah, 2009). The average production taiwan taro farm amounted to 3.526 piecesand productivity of 19.420,26 pieces/ha is still low compared to the literature (SEAMEOBIOTROP Research Bogor West Java). Total net income taiwan taro farm during one growingseason is Rp248.790.000, -. Analysis of R/C ratio is 13,95 taiwan taro farm therefore the farmingis economically very feasible to be developed (R / C ≥ 1).

Abstract

The agricultural sector is one of Indonesia advantages as an agrarian country. Purwasari Villageis one of the villages located in Bogor which makes the agricultural sector as one of the sources ofincome that has a significant contribution to the regional economy. Fluctuations in productivity overthe past few months in Purwasari Village are thought to be due to internal and external risks. In thisstudy samples were taken from the Farmer Groups and villager in Purwasari Village. The methodsused are Fishbone Analysis and Failure Mode Effect Analysis to determine the sources of risk andpriorities in risk mitigation by farmers based on impact analysis by determining the critical value ofeach factor. The results of the study stated that the average level of critical value of rice farming inPurwasari Village obtained from the weighting results was 242.7 with moderate-high levels. The riskfactors that have the highest risk values above average are pest disruption, erratic weather, access tocapital and the quality of human resources.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive business activities owned byindividuals or individual business entities that contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP).Productivity of MSMEs during the pandemic has decreased due to reduced buying power anddecreased demand resulting in decreased business profit. This requires efforts to increase MSMEproductivity through online promotion using brochures (Imooji). Imooji is an online tool that canbe used to create brochures, invitations to events, and product/service catalogs for free. This trainingaims to offer knowledge about the procedures for making digtal brochures to MSMEs during theCovid-19 pandemic. This training activity was held online through the Whatsapp group with 20MSME participants from Bogor. This online training activity is divided into four sessions, the firstsession is of material presentation, the second session is of video screening, the third session is ofdiscussion, and the fourth session is of training evaluation. The impact felt by MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic is that people's purchasing power declined by 66.7%, then income decreased by58.3%. The evaluation of this online training activity involved 12 respondents (10 women and 2men). This online training activity was able to increase the knowledge of MSMEs with thepercentage of 66.7% of MSMEs understanding of the training material. This became the basis of theability of MSMEs after the training is carried out in order to make online brochures of products andservices with an attractive appearance.

Abstract

Diversification of products processed nutmeg can increase added value, the income and provideadvantages for nutmeg farmers and industrial. One of the home industry in Sukadamai Village isdeveloping products based on nutmeg meat into a nutmeg juice that has a lot of health benefits. Thisis aimed to determine the process of diversification of nutmeg fruit processing and analyze theadvantages of Pala home industry. Observations were held in Sukadamai Village, Dramaga SubDistrict, Bogor Regency, West Java province, 22 February 2020. The methods used in this activityare by conducting interviews to the informant regarding the making process and conducting a profitanalysis. The observation shows that the diversification of nutmeg fruit can be generated that utilizes100 kg nutmeg fruit meat in a single production. The results of economic analysis of nutmeg juicehave an R/C ratio of 1.95, which means the industry is profitable.

Abstract

The home industry is a form of business activity to create a level of community welfare. Inpractice, every baby shoe industry has its way of developing its business. The role of social capital isconsidered as an important part to know how the process of transfer of knowledge obtained by thebaby shoe industry and to analyze the history and constraints that have been felt by the businessmanof baby shoe industry. Therefore, this study aims to identify the role of social capital in the welfarelevel of the baby shoe industry. The method in this research was carried out in a descriptivequalitative manner, interview techniques. The results showed that the role of social capital carriedout by the businessman of baby shoe industry is bounding, bridging, and linking. The analysis showsthat they have a high level of trust and are compliant with social norms, have a fairly good level ofnetwork and participation in, and have a high level of dependency with baby shoe handkerchief.The role of social capital carried out by the businessman as an effort to improve their welfare. Themovement showed the businessman of baby shoe industry made the Sukadamai village known asthe baby shoe craftsman village.
