Abstract

This research was conducted on Special Educator Teachers (GPK) Inclusive Primary Schools in Padang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between compensation and job satisfaction of Teachers of Special Educators (GPK) Inclusive Primary Schools in the City of Padang. The sample selection technique in this study uses Sampling Random Sampling,random sampling which is atechnique regardless of the strata that exist in that population (Sugiyono, 2014). The sample in this study amounted to 78 people. Test the validity and reliability using Cronbach Alpha.The trial results show the validity coefficient in the scale of compensation from 0.309 to 0.811 while the reliability coefficient is 0.941. The results of the coefficient trial of the validity of the job satisfaction scale show from 0.301 to 0.755 with a reliability coefficient of 0.917. Hypothesis test results show the magnitude of the correlation coefficient of 0.835 with a significant level p = 0,000. It means that it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between compensation and job satisfaction. Positive values indicate that the higher the compensation, the better the teacher's job satisfaction, and vice versa the lower the compensation, the worse the job satisfaction of the Special Educator Teacher (GPK). The effective contribution of the compensation variable to job satisfaction is 70%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how compensation and workload effect on job satisfaction; compensation and workload effect on employee performance; and job satisfaction effect on employee’s performance at the PT. Kepsindo Indra Utama Padang. Type of this research is quantitative research. The samples are 80 employees of the PT. Kepsindo Indra Utama Padang using saturation sampling technique. Methods of data collection is using questionnaire. This research is using path analysis. The results showed that: 1) compensation has positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, 2) workload have negative and significant impact on job satisfaction, 3) compensation has positive and significant impact on employee performance, 4) workload has negative and significant impact on employee performance, and 5) job satisfaction has positive and significant impact on employee performance. The results showed that the direct path of job compensation has the most powerful effect on employee performance demonstrated by having the highest impact regression coefficient (dominant) amounted to 0,664.

Abstract

The first pregnancy (primigravida) is a very important event for women because in addition to feeling happy and meaningful, it is also possible to feel anxiety and fear, when preparing for labour, especially entering the third trimester. Anxiety and fear can cause pain and can lead to decreased uterine contractions, so the labor process will last longer. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influencing the anxiety of Primigravida Trimester III pregnant women, in dealing with childbirth at the Batu Aji Health Center in Batam in 2018. This study was analytical with a cross sectional approach conducted in May - September 2018 at the Batu Aji City Health Center Batam. Data from the Batam City Health Office (Dinas Kesehatan Kota Batam) in 2017 shows that the highest coverage of pregnant women visits is in the Batu Aji Health Center with 4073 pregnant women. The sampling technique is total sampling with a sample size of 40 pregnant women. This study used the HRS-A questionnaire and checklist sheet. The researcher revealed that knowledge, occupational status, age were the factors to be studied. Data analysis using Chi-Square and the results obtained p = 0,000 <0,05, which indicates a significant correlation between the knowledge of pregnant women and anxiety of pregnant women, p = 0,155 <0,05, no correlation between working status and the anxiety of pregnant women, p = 0.571 ≥ 0.05 and there is a correlation between the age of the mother and the anxiety of pregnant women, p = 0.004 <0.050. There were 23 pregnant women who experienced low anxiety (57.7%), 35 people had good knowledge about pregnancy (87.5%). Advice for health workers is to be able to improve the quality of care for pregnant women to reduce anxiety experienced by mothers, and pregnant women should use the health care facilities that have been provided.

Abstract

The study objective was to determine correlation between adversity quotient and stress of 12th grade in senior high school 1 Padang that who will be held on final examination for their graduation. This research used survey method and the analaysis used correlation techniques. Sample Size of 158 obtained by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was aquestionaire to measure stress by HSCL-25 and adversity quetion by likert scale’s Rahmawati (2007). The result shown 65% students has indicated stress, and 71 % student has middle range on adversity quotient. Result of the hypothesist namely there is negative correlation between adversity quotient and stres but they don’t have enough significant’s value.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the emotional regulation strategies of child prisoners in Class II TI LPKA. Pati. Using the one used is Quantitative Descriptive method. Emotional regulation on child inmates was revealed using a questionnaire about emotion regulation strategies. The results of research derived from questionnaires and interviews conducted showed that out of 32 child inmates, as many as 32 child prisoners used emotion regulation strategies cognitive reappraisal in dealing with problems in the LPKA environment. In addition, as many as 7 adolescents have a tendency to use emotion strategies cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression in dealing with problems in the LPKA environment. Based on the results of the study it was found that 9.37% of child prisoners had poor emotion regulation strategies, and 71.87 % of child inmates have a fairly good emotion regulation strategy and 18.75% have a good emotion regulation strategy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between social support and motivation to become a cosplayer in COSMIC (cosplayer Minang Community) in Padang. The independent variable in this study is social support and the dependent variable is the motivation to be a cosplayer. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of social support and the motivation scale of being a cosplayer. The population in this study amounted to 47 people. The sample technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. Saturated sampling is a sampling technique if all members of the population are used as samples. Samples in this study amounted to 47 people. Test the validity and reliability using Technique Cronbach Alpha. The item different power index on the social support scale moves from 0.337 to 0.793, while the motivation scale becomes a cosplayer moves from 0.330 to 0.741. The reliability coefficient on the social support scale is 0.890, while the reliability coefficient on the motivation scale becomes cosplayer at 0.893. Hypothesis test results show the correlation coefficient of 0.296 with a significant level p = 0.043 means that there is a significant relationship between social support and motivation to become cosplayers in Padang, with the effective contribution of social support to motivation to become cosplayers in Padang by 9% and 91% influenced other factors. So there is a relatively low relationship between social support variables and the motivation to become cosplayers

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Secretariat of the Department of Religion. Strikes with the aim to find out how much influence, Employee Competence, Job Placement, and Career Development, on Employee Performance at the Secretariat of the Department of Religion. 75 respondents. Questionnaires distributed as much as 75 and can be processed, the analytical method used is regression analysis and correlation analysis. The results obtained based on Partial Test (t test) are obtained: (a) there is a positive and significant influence between Competence on Employee Performance, evidenced by the value t count is greater than t table. (b) There is a positive and significant influence between Job Placement on Employee Performance, evidenced by the value of t calculated is greater than t table. (c) There is a positive and significant influence between Career Development on Employee Performance, as evidenced by the value of t calculated greater than t table. Then based on hypothesis testing together (Test F) it can be seen that employee competence, work placement, and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And by testing the coefficient of determination (R2) showed that the percentage of the competence of Employees, Job Placement and Career Development to variable affects employee performance in other variables such as mutations, organizational climate, motivation, and others

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of Coaching training to improve supervisor performance in the sales division at PT. X. Data collection uses performance scales, interviews and observations. The research design used was. The One Group Pretest-posttest Design. Technical statistical analysis to test the hypothesis in this study using paired t-test (paired-sample T-test) and qualitative analysis to describe the effect of Coaching training to improve supervisor performance in the sales division at PT. X. The results of the study show that there is an effect of Coaching training to improve supervisor performance in the sales division at PT. X. (p <0.05). The form of influence is positive, which means that when the sales supervisor of the salesperson at PT X receives coaching training, the performance of the sales supervisor of the salesperson at PT. X gets positive changes related to its performance.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal, (1). The Influence of Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance, (2) Effect of Extrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance (3) Effect of Internationalized Employee Leadership Style on Employee Performance (4) Effect of anorizing Leadership Style Assignment on Employee Performance (5) Effect of Intrinsic & Extrinsic Motivation, Internative Style Employees & Tasks together on Employee Performance. The population in this study were employees of PT. Amdafa Guides Mandiri in Lubuk Kilangan Subdistrict, Padang City, amounting to 49 people. Sampling using Slovin formula and cluster random sampling method obtained a sample of 45 people. The method used in this research is simple random sampling method. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and social anxiety in male prisoners of narcotics cases in Padang Class II A Correctional Institution. The independent variables in this study are self concept and the dependent variable is social anxiety. The measuring instruments used in this study are self concept scale and social anxiety scale. The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this study were 84 male prisoners of narcotics cases at the Padang Class II A Correctional Institution. Test for validity and reliability in this study using thetechnique Cronbach Alpha. The results of the validity coefficient on the self-concept scale move from rix = 0.310 to rix = 0.779 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.944 while on the social anxiety scale moves from rix = 0.340 to rix = 0.847 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.945 . Based on data analysis, the correlation value is -0.567 with a significance level of 0.000, which means the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship between self concept and social anxiety in male prisoners of narcotics cases at the Padang Class II A Correctional Institution.
