Abstract

After the Covid pandemic storm that hit Indonesia in the last 2 years, it had an impact on business processes in various industrial sectors. The Manufacturing Industry is one of those affected. Reduction in the workforce which has an impact on company effectiveness is one of the impacts. Manufacturing sector workers suffered a lot from this condition, because they were forced to go home and those who were retained could not get a work from home policy. Workers must do jobs that exceed their capacity so that it can have a bad effect. Workers who are indeed retained will still be deducted from their wages and their working hours will increase. Workers are required to work beyond working hours and be able to be sincere and interpret their work, so that they can be maintained by the company. The role of their superiors also lacks personality and good leadership, so they do not understand what their subordinates need. This study aims to examine the relationship between Machiavellian personality and organizational citizenship behavior moderated by servant leadership and meaningful work. The research subjects were 902 respondents in the manufacturing industry aged 20-45 years, with a ratio of 555 men and 347 women who filled out the four measurement scales, namely the servant leadership scale, work meaningfulness scale, Machiavellianism scale, and organizational-citizenship behavior scale. Data collection uses the survey method which is given online using the Google form. Researchers used moderated regression analysis of the Hayes macro process model 2 to test this research model. The results showed that the role of meaningfulness in the workplace can moderate and positively relate to the mach personality trait on organizational citizenship behavior. Meanwhile, the role of servant leadership cannot moderate the relationship between the mach personality trait and organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Indonesia still has a fairly high rate of drug abuse. Some limitations in drug management strategies in Indonesia, such as obstacles to intervention in prisons and lack of involvement in recovery from addicts, can be overcome by the existence of alternative drug treatment strategies. One of the recommended rehabilitation methods is sponsorship from Narcotics Anonymous. This method allows the involvement of the addict in the recovery process from drug addiction and can trigger the desire of the addict to continue the recovery process with social support provided through sponsorship relationships. This study aims to understand the dynamics of the experiences of individuals undergoing sponsorship in the Narcotics Anonymous community for drug addiction recovery. A single case study with an in-depth interview method was conducted on 42-year-old individuals undergoing drug recovery, as well as having experience participating in Narcotics Anonymous and having sponsorship relationships, both as sponsors and sponsors. In-depth interviews referred to four themes emerging from participants' experiences: (1) the main problem of addiction is behavior that forms with drug use, (2) opening the ears and expressing the heart can have therapeutic effects during recovery, (3) learning from sponsors during recovery, and (4) sharing experiences as sponsors is a form of recovery. The results of the study found that the dynamics of sponsorship relationships in NA become a social support that has therapeutic value for its members, facilitates abstinence, and raises positive expectations in recovery. As sponsors, participants who provide support also find it helpful in undergoing recovery through helper therapy principles. It can be said that the sponsorship relationship as one of the social supports in drug handling is felt to provide many benefits and can effectively help the recovery process of drug addiction so that it can be considered for mental health practitioners as an alternative therapy in handling drug addiction.

Abstract

Engagement is the effort that students make by directly contributing to achieving the goal of learning success. Student engagement is considered a predictor of improved learning performance, academic achievement and socializing quality of learners. Research on engagement in educational contexts has grown in recent years. The concept of engagement that is often used in recent research is student engagement with three aspects, namely, behavior, emotional, and cognitive engagement. Then there are studies that suggest that the theory of engagement so far only sees student behavior as a passive recipient of information from the teacher. Therefore, the concept of engagement is developed by adding one construct, namely, agentic engagement. This construct explains engagement as proactive behavior that arises from students' initiatives that are constructive for the learning environment. This article aims to review: (a) the concept of agentic engagement in current research and (b) factors that influence agentic engagement in the learning context. The method used is a systematic literature review. The results of this review indicate that the construct of agentic engagement is a recent component of student engagement. The conclusions of this systematic literature review are, (a) agentic engagement is an important predictor of learning success, (b) agentic engagement can be influenced by internal and external factors, and (c) the role of teachers in providing autonomy support to students is important to encourage students' motivation to be agentically engaged in learning. The findings of this systematic literature review can be followed up by teachers, schools and parents to design lessons that support students' agentic engagement.

Abstract

In doing the assignments given by the teacher, there are students who do it right away, but there are also those who delay doing it. His research aims to determine the corellation between emotional maturity and academic procrastination in Mathematics Study Program students at Sjeh M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi State Islamic University. The independent variable in this study is emotional maturity and the dependent variable is academic procrastination. The measuring tools used in this study are the emotional maturity scale and the academic procrastination scale. Determining the number of samples in this study using the sampling method is a way to determine the number of samples that meet the following requirements: the number of population is known; at the level of error (significance level) 1%, 5% and 10%; and this method is specifically used for normally distributed samples. Therefore the students used as the research sample were 176 people with a significant level of 10% in the mathematics study program class of 2016 to 2022 at the State Islamic University of Sjech M. Djamil Jambek Bukittinggi. Test the validity and reliability in this study using the Cronbach Alpha technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the emotional maturity scale with a corrected item-total correlation ranged from 0.406 to 0.785 while the reliability coefficient was 0.942. The results of the validity coefficient on the academic procrastination scale with the corrected item-total correlation ranged from 0.306 to 0.781 while the reliability coefficient was 0.952. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of -0.544 with a significance level of 0.000 is obtained, which means the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a negative and significant relationship with the moderate category between emotional maturity and academic procrastination in mathematics study program students at the State Islamic University of Sjeh M. Abstract

Pregnancy is a time awaited by many women. Entering pregnancy, there are many changes that occur both biologically due to hormonal changes, but also psychologically. Pregnancy generally occurs at a productive age before entering menopause. Pregnancy is a difficult phase, so many pregnant women experience excessive fear and anxiety during pregnancy and childbirth, due to many factors, both internal and external. Fear and anxiety are usually more felt in pregnant women with their first child, but in subsequent pregnancies there are still many who experience fear and anxiety. This is very bad if not handled properly, because it can endanger the condition of pregnant women and also their womb. Tokophobia is a common condition characterized by fear experienced by women in relation to the processes of pregnancy and childbirth. Various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, psychologists, media outlets, and specialized teams, have sought solutions to address tokophobia. One popular approach is hypnotherapy, particularly hypnobirthing, which supports the processes of pregnancy and childbirth. Hypnobirthing involves the utilization of positive suggestions to facilitate and ease the process of childbirth while reducing potential fears experienced by the mother. Educational videos are frequently employed within hypnobirthing, combining auditory and visual elements to provide positive benefits to viewers. Based on research and testing conducted on 15 productive age pregnant women with tokophobia in Pekanbaru, the use of educational hypnobirthing videos has proven to have a positive impact in reducing levels of fear throughout the pregnancy process.
