Abstract

This research explains factors (usage of social media, social factors, political & factors) most effect on community participation of youth affairs committee members. This research work was conducted in Myanmar before the Military Coup. The CEC (Chief Executive Committees) members were actively participation in Military coup protest. Moreover, most of the committee members exponent the democratic values to community in this times.   The study area was selected Mon State because of the media age of Mon state is 26.7 years. Moreover, there were three major ethnic group – Mon , Kayan and Burma lived in Mon state. This condition shows that youth person settled diverse opinions and thoughts in Mon state.  The 131 youth affairs committee members were proportionally selected from each layer of Mon state youth affair committee for collect data. Linear regression and descriptive methods was employed to analyze collected data. It was found that social factors and political & legal factors have positively significant effect on  community participation of youth leaders. The policy makers of Mon state should provide the opportunities for youth to engage in community development works.

Abstract

Poverty and unemployment remain the main issue in India. These issues are mostly found in rural areas. The Government of India has been formulating various programs for rural growth and poverty eradication. One such programmed is the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), a successful program in promoting gender equality, empowering women, and creating long-lasting infrastructure in rural areas providing employment. The study was conducted in the Kaithal district of Haryana covering a sample of 100 beneficiaries. The collected data has been analyzed using simple frequency and percentage analysis, descriptive analysis, and correlation analysis. The results have revealed that the program was successful in empowering the women of the district.

Abstract

This research is motivated by curiosity about Islamic banking services in Riau Province during the Covid-19 pandemic. But before that, it is also important to examine customer knowledge on products and service facilities in Islamic banking, reasons customers choose Islamic banks, and reasons customers use both types of banks (Islamic banking and conventional banking). This research is a field research with survey technique. The population is Islamic banks customers in Pekanbaru and the samples in this study refer to the calculation of Hair et al with total assets of Islamic banks in 2020 as a consideration in determining proportional allocation. Sources of data in this research are primary and secondary data. While the data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics with a frequency distribution. The results of the research found that there are still many Islamic bank customers who do not know about specific Islamic bank products such musyarakah products, mudharabah products, ijarah products,and rahn services. The results also found that religious reasons are the main factor for customers in choosing of Islamic banks. The factor of ease of access to more branches is the main reason customers use both types of banks. Finally, the results of the research found that the most Islamic bank customers are satisfied with various aspects of the services provided by Islamic banks, while the five service aspects whith the highest level of customer satisfaction are Islamic bank staff friendliness, Islamic bank name and image, Islamic bank employee skills, confidentially Islamic bank customer data, as well as various kinds of facilities offered by Islamic banks. The results of this research are ini line with studies that have been conducted in Jordan and Kuwait, where the highest level of satisfaction is found in the name and image aspects of Islamic banks even though there are differences in respondent demographics and the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation on teacher performance in educational institutions. This research is quantitative research. The sample in this study were all teachers totaling 49 teachers. The research data used SPSS version 23. It was found that the F count was 22,052 > F table 3,20 so that simultaneously the variables of leadership and work motivation had a significant effect on teacher performance. the contribution of the influence of competence and work environment on teacher performance is 47.3%, while 52.7% is influenced by other factors that are not cultivated in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee work discipline. The sample in this study were all employees, totaling 40 employees who were used as research samples. The results of SPSS in this study obtained test results on the variable Job Satisfaction Against Work Discipline, namely t count (7,500) > t table \ (2,024). And the significance level obtained is 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee work discipline. The value of R-square (Coefficient of Determinants) is 0.597. It can be concluded that job satisfaction affects the work discipline of PT ABC Cargo Company Pekanbaru Branch by 59.70%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Tax Volunteer Service Standardization and Location on WPOP Satisfaction at the STIE Persada Bunda Tax Center. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely the Tax Volunteer Service Standard (X1) and Location (X2). The Tax Volunteer Service Standard (X1) uses the standards from the DJP Regional Office, including Service Management Standards, Human Resources Standards, Facility Standards, and Supervision Standards. The dependent variable in this study is Individual Taxpayer Satisfaction (Y). The number of samples in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that partially the service standard and location variables affect WPOP satisfaction. Meanwhile, simultaneously, the service standard and location variables have an effect on WPOP satisfaction.

Abstract

This research examines the determining factors which can affect consumer loyalty for fashion products on social media mediated by purchase intention. This research focuses on both locally produced and imported fashion products sought after by Batam City residents. Collected data is pooled from 352 respondents using Google Forms. The questionnaires were taken from the works of Abou Ali et al., (2021) dan Prasad et al., (2019). The causal-comparative quantitative approach is used in this research, while linear regression is used to prove the relationship between each hypothesis. This research shows that the relationship between country of origin, customer engagement, influencer marketing, purchase intention, and trust can explain about 53% of customer loyalty. Meanwhile, perceived value does not significantly affect customer loyalty directly. To examine the mediating relationship of purchase intention, this research uses the aforementioned variables to be compared. The result shows that there is a mediating relationship between purchase intention and independent perceived value and trust. Altogether this research is conducted in a relatively short time. Additionally, the lack of supporting journals and sources that can reinforce the mediating relationship of purchase intention toward perceived value and trust makes this study not thoroughly discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate more deeply the impact of skills and abilities on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kota Pariaman. The population of this research is 4,281 Small and Medium Enterprises located in Pariaman City where the number of samples is 98 SMEs. The technique used in collecting data for this research is to use Field Research, then the technical data analysis used is factor analysis. Hypothesis testing is carried out using Statistical Program Social Scence (SPSS) 24.0 for Windows by using factor analysis, among others instrument test, classical assumption test, Goodness of Fit test, multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that a) There is a positive influence of skills on the performance of small and medium enterprises of 13.2%. b) There is a positive effect of ability on the performance of small and medium enterprises of 30.8%. c) There is a positive influence of skills and abilities on the performance of small and medium enterprises of 34.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of market reaction in corporate action announcements on stock prices and stock liquidity. This study uses qualitative methods and literature research with reference to the latest journals published by scholars and examines literature books based on the theories discussed, especially in the context of financial management. The results of this study will build a research hypothesis which will be developed in further research by the author. The findings of this study will be continued with data collection and hypothesis testing. Stock data will be taken on stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using a purposive sample selection method. It is planned that this study will test the hypothesis using SEM AMOS software version 24 and SPSS Versti 26 to process and screen data. Research will have an impact on increasing understanding for investors who will invest in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency level of sharia general insurance in Indonesia. Methodology/approach – This study uses the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with output orientation. The objects in this study were 8 general insurance companies in Indonesia during the 2015-2020 period. The variables used consist of input variables (total assets, capital/equity, operating expenses, claim payments) and output variables (investment income, tabarru' funds, profit). Findings – There are three Sharia General Insurance Companies in efficient condition during the study period, namely Allianz Utama Indonesia Insurance, Sinar Mas Insurance, and Bumiputeramuda General Insurance. In addition, there were five companies in an inefficient condition during the study period, namely PT Asuransi Bringin Sejahtera Artamakmur, PT Asuransi Ramayana, PT Asuransi Staco Mandiri, PT Asuransi Umum Mega, and PT Asuransi Wahana Tata. Novelty/value – The contribution of this research is to provide an efficiency analysis of Sharia General Insurance companies in Indonesia using several inputs and outputs. Keywords Efficiency, Islamic Insurance, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).
