Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that has an important role in shaping the character of society. However, the existence of pesantren in a non-Muslim majority society, such as Pondok Pesantren Bani Insani in Bali, presents unique challenges and opportunities. This research aims to understand the pesantren's adaptation strategy in creating social harmony while maintaining Islamic values. With a qualitative approach, this research uses a case study through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture. The results showed that Bani Insani Islamic Boarding School faced challenges in the form of religious stereotypes, limited resources, and social and cultural complexity. Nevertheless, this pesantren is able to take advantage of opportunities through the implementation of inclusive education, interfaith dialogue, and empowerment of the local community. These results emphasize the importance of adaptive strategies and cooperation to strengthen the role of pesantren as unifiers in the midst of community diversity.

Abstract

Background: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the healthcare sector has advanced rapidly and made a significant contribution to the progress of human civilization. Mental health is a fundamental aspect that affects the well-being of individuals and society as a whole. However, in reality, access to mental health services remains a major challenge in many regions worldwide, including Indonesia. Methods:This study employs a scoping review method to identify and map existing literature on innovations and the impact of AI-powered chatbots in the context of mental health detection.The article search process was carried out using electronic databases such as google schoolar and PUBMED. Then the articles that have been obtained are selected again by looking at the title, abstract and also the inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtained articles that are suitable for further review. Results: Searches across several journal databases found seven journal articles that met the criteria: articles focusing on the benefits of AI in detecting mental health issues, published in 2020, full-text, and written in English.The seven studies analyzed showed a decrease in depression and anxiety symptoms in people who consulted online regarding their mental health problems. Conclusion: In addressing mental health issues, chatbots can be used as a tool for mass screening to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety while providing easy access to mental health support without stigma. However, chatbots have limitations in deep clinical assessment, lack critical thinking and dynamic adaptation, and pose risks of misdiagnosis in complex cases. Therefore, chatbots can serve as

Abstract

This study discusses effective strategies for preventing and prosecuting murder crimes in Indonesia using a holistic approach. Social, economic, and environmental factors, such as poverty, unemployment, and domestic violence, are the primary triggers for the increasing crime rate. Prevention efforts include education, improving community security, and social interventions based on community involvement. Meanwhile, law enforcement requires a strong judicial system and the utilization of modern technology in investigations. The study results indicate that a combination of prevention strategies and firm law enforcement measures can significantly reduce murder rates. Collaboration between the government, law enforcement agencies, and the community is the key to creating a safer and more just environment.

Abstract

Leprosy is a chronic disease that rarely causes death but often causes disability. This disability leads to different opinions in the community, which disrupts the social life of leprosy sufferers and the surrounding community. In this study, the researcher wanted to examine more deeply the opinions of people with leprosy. This research design uses qualitative research that focuses on a phenomenological approach. The participants taken in this study were 11 people who had criteria where the location of the participant's house was not more than 100 meters from the leprosy patient. Participants were selected through purposive sampling and data collection techniques using in-depth interviews with the main instrument, namely the researcher himself and assisted by other instruments in the form of field notes, interview guidelines and sound recording devices. The results of this study resulted in three themes: (1) Factors that influence stigma towards leprosy patients (2) Perceptions of Leprosy Patients (3) Forms of Stigma towards Leprosy Patients. Community stigma still occurs against leprosy patients, this is due to the low level of education and knowledge of the community about leprosy, so there needs to be intervention by health workers to increase community knowledge so that the stigma felt by leprosy patients can be reduced.

Abstract

The transformation of health promotion in the digital era presents new opportunities to introduce and enhance public awareness of traditional herbal medicine, including Wedang Uwuh. However, challenges such as competition with modern health products and a lack of public awareness regarding the benefits of herbal remedies remain obstacles in promoting this product. Therefore, this study aims to explore the utilization of digital communication technology in the promotion of Wedang Uwuh in Yogyakarta and analyze its impact on public awareness and acceptance. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data were collected through a literature review, analyzing scientific articles, reports, and case studies related to digital health promotion, the use of traditional herbal medicine, and communication technology in Indonesia. This approach enables a deeper understanding of the promotional strategies used, the challenges faced, and the opportunities for integrating digital technology with local health traditions. The findings indicate that the use of digital technology, such as social media, websites, and health applications, has contributed to increasing public awareness and acceptance of Wedang Uwuh. However, barriers such as the digital divide and limited technological literacy among small business owners remain significant challenges in optimizing digital promotion. Therefore, collaboration between the government, business actors, and local communities is necessary to overcome these challenges and maximize the potential of digital technology in supporting the promotion of traditional herbal products in Indonesia.
