Abstract

The research focused on the influence of discovery learning. The purposes of this research were to reviewing the effect of discovery learning model to student’s learning motivation in MAN Bondowoso and to knew the effect of discovery learning’s model for student’s physics learning outcomes in MAN Bondowoso. The kind of this research was experiment by posttest only control design. Population of the research was class X at Islamic Senior High School Bondowoso. Technique to collect the data were observation, interview, documentation, test and questionnaire. Technique of data analysis were decriptive and Independent Sample t-test with SPSS 16. The result of independent sample t-test to student’s learning motivation showed value 0,0305≤ 0,05. While the result of independent sample t-test to learning outcomes showed value 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Based on that result could be concluded that: (1) discovery learning model significantly took effect to student’ learning motivation in MA; (2) discovery learning model significantly took effect to student’s physics learning outcomes in MA. Abstract

This research related on the influence of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics learning at class X SMKN 8 JEMBER. The purpose of this research is: 1) to test the significance of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics Learning on the activities of students studying physics; and 2) to test the significance of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics Learning on the cognitive learning physics students. This research is an experimental research, with post-test only control design. This research population is class X at SMKN 8 Jember. Technique to collect the data uses test, observation, documentation, and interviews. Technique to analyze data is Independent-sample T-test (parametric test). The results showed that there is a significant differences between student’s learning physics activities in experimental class and control class with value of Sig.(1-tailed) < 0.05. Meanwhile, the results also showed that there were significant differences between the cognitive learning physics class students experiment and control class with value Sig. (1-tailed)<0.05. The conclusions of the research is : (1) Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS influenced significantly on the student’s physics learning activities at class X SMK N 8 Jember, (2) Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS influenced significantly on the student’s physics learning cognitive of students at class X SMK N 8 Jember. Abstract

Research on the analysis of the magnetic field intensity ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) is essentially an attempt to prevent the impact of disease risks posed by electromagnetic field radiation. Measuring instrument used to measure the magnetic field intensity EMF 827 is capable of measuring magnetic fields up to 2000 μT. The results of the intensity of exposure to magnetic fields measured by variations in distance of 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 cm. The distance is selected because the distance is the distance that allows direct interaction with the magnetic field source. Issues to be studied are comparative intensity of the magnetic field around the electronic equipment with natural magnetic field and the magnetic field distribution around the electronic equipment with a power ≥ 1000 W. Results of comparative data are analyzed using One-Way ANOVA aided by SPSS 23 and presented in the profile / contour Surfer application assisted version 11. Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) model in elasticity learning at senior high school. This research aimed to describe student’s science process skills during using the model and to study affect the model on student’s physics learning achievement. This type of research is experiment research by post-test only control design. The population of this research is students of class XI IPA in SMAN Kalisat and the sample is two classes, XI IPA 3 as an experiment group and XI IPA 3 as a control group. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, interview, and test. Data analysis techniques to describe student’s science process skills use descriptive analysis, to study affect the model on student’s physics learning achievement use independent sample t-test on SPSS 22. Finding this research are: (1) The average percentage of student’s basic science process skills is 69.14% included fairly good criteria, while the average percentage of student’s integrated science process skills is 81.96% included good criteria. (2) The significance value is 0,000 or <0.05 and it show that the model has a significant affect on student’s physics learning achievement. The research can be concluded that student’s basic and integrated science process skills during using GI-GI model are in fairly good criteria and good criteria. GI-GI model has a significant affect on student’s physics learning achievement. Key word: elasticity, GI-GI model, student’s learning achievement, student’s science process skills

Abstract

In this modern era, the utilization of Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magnetic field on variety of technology is increased. This increase occurs in variety of technology like food, health, industry, communications and agriculture. One of the food that can be cultivated through the agricultural sector is ear mushroom (Auricularia auricular). This studies are aims to investigate the influence of magnetic field on ear mushroom with intensities, 100 μT, 300 μT, and 600 μT with long exposure of 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 50 minutes, and 70 minutes and determining the effective dose for the growth of heat pin mushroom. This study was using completely randomized design with one primary factor and three replications. The result showed that the magnetic field produces results fairly significant increase in heat pin mushroom growth. Result in each of the experimental class increased by the rise of magnetic field intensities with lowest growth of heat pin getting by 600 μT for 70 minute, and the day of coming up heat pin on 22,33 Hsi and highest growth of heat pin getting by control class with the day of coming up heat pin on 24,44 Hsi. Abstract

Development of local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is a develop of module to conect between temperature and expansion of material with “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan”. The purposes of this research are to describe the validty local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module, student’ learning achievement, and student’ responses. This type of research is the development, use research design 4-D. Data collection techniques used are sheets of validation, observation, interview and post-test. Local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is said good and decent to be used for teaching physics in junior high school if the product’s validity has been tested through logic validity. Result this research are: (1) logic validity real events image-based module is 4,1 with a valid category. (2) Student’ learning achievement after using local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is 63,63% with a quite good, and (3) student’ responses local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is 81,43% with a very positive. Conclusion this reseach is local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan” based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is decent to be used as a physics science of learning material in junior high school. Abstract

Effect of Solution Concentration Solution Temperature Rise Against The pace of research that observing and measuring about concentration and the rate of temperature rise of the solution. A liquid will boil when the molecules gain enough energy to liberate themselves from fellow molecule that then turns into steam. When other substances dissolved in water, the substance of these substances will be particles, which later these particles would bind particles of water and escaping into vapor, in other words, the water molecules will require higher energy to boil. The time it takes to boil the solution varies depending on the size and type of solute concentration. This study aimed to investigate the relationship concentration versus time solution temperature increases 50o C, and assess the effect of concentration versus time solution temperature increases 50o C. Abstract

This study focused on influence of Project Based Lerning Model with physics phenomena to physics instruction in SMA. The purposes of this research are: (1) to describe student’s activites in physics during learning process; (2) there is a significant influential on the learning outcomes of students who were given a Project Based Learning Model and are not given the Project Based Lerning Model. This research was an experimental study with posttest only control group design. The population in this research was X class and the samples were X IPA A and X IPA B class of SMA Unggulan BPPT Darus Sholah Jember. Data collection techniques were observation, test, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were descriptive, percentage, and T-test using SPSS 22. The results of this research were the average of student’s learning activities was 83.3% (very active criteria); the sigfinikansi influential on the learning outcomes of student is 0,026 this used T-test SPSS 22. This research can be concluded: first, the average of student’s learning activities was in very active criteria. Secondly, there is a significant influential on the learning outcomes of students who were given a problem Project Based Lerning Model with physics phenomena and are not given the Model Project Based Lerning Model with physics phenomena. Abstract

This article reported the result of an experimental research about the effect of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) with Vee diagram on the straight motion learning at tenth grade SMA Negeri Pakusari in 2016/2017 academic year. The objectives of this research were to describe the learning activities during POE learning model with Vee diagram and to know the effect of POE learning model with Vee diagram to the cognitive learning outcomes in straight motion learning. The design of this research was post test only control group design. The data of the learning activities was collected by using observation and portfolio. Based on the data, the average of the learning activities was 71,37% which means active. The data of the cognitive learning outcomes in straight motion was collected by using post test. Then, the data collected was analyzed by using independent sample t-test (SPSS 20). The difference of the achievement between experiment class and control class is done by obtained significant value of 0.012. It means the result of this research proved that the use of POE learning model with Vee diagram significantly affected the cognitive learning outcomes at tenth grade SMA Negeri Pakusari. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to know the validity and the effectivity of physics-based contextual modules on optical tools material. This type of research is the development, use research design Borg and Gall. The initial product design phase, a module will go through two stages of validation. The first validation phase is experts’ validation and is obtained the validity of 80,66% with valid enough degree of validity. The second validation phase is users’ validation and is obtained the validity of 88% with very valid degree of validity. The next research phase is the initial testing phase, at this stage will be known the audience ratings of the module. Audience validation involved 6 student and got the validity of 84,44% with very valid degree of validity. The last research phase is the research field to determine the effectiveness of the module. The result of the research field show that the module has been declared as effective modules for students, because they have got a score of 70 as much as 94,44%. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the physics-based contextual learning modules developed valid and effective to be used in teaching in schools.
