Abstract

Education at Vocational High Schools (SMK) produces graduates who are ready to enter the world of work, employment or as entrepreneurs. These conditions must be in line with the performance of educators, which requires acceleration and increased competency so that students' learning motivation is better. The aim of the research is to describe the relationship between educator performance and learning motivation and to describe the relationship between educator performance and the science and science learning outcomes of chemistry students at vocational schools in Makassar City. The research method is descriptive correlational using Rank Spearman correlation analysis. Where the independent variable is educator performance and the dependent variable is learning motivation and learning outcomes. The research population consisted of Vocational High Schools in Makassar City. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was 130 students from 5 vocational schools in Makassar City. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaires are used to obtain data on learning motivation and educator performance, while documentation is used to obtain data on learning outcomes, number of students, number of educators and school profile. The research results show (i) significance value or Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.008 < 0.005, meaning there is a significant relationship between performance variables and learning motivation, (ii) obtained a significance value or Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.458 so 0.458 > 0.005, meaning there is no significant relationship between performance variables and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research to find out the effect of the miMind media in the Discovery Learning model toward the student’s science process skill on the subject matter of Colloid Systems. The miMind media in the Discovery Learning model as independent variable and the student’s science process skill as the dependent variable. The population in this research is all the students of grade XI MIA MA Pesri Kendari that consist of four classes. Grade XI MIA 2 as experiment group that consist of 21 students and Grade XI MIA 1 as control group that consist of 21 students. The data of research was obtained by observation questionnaire of science process skill and learning implementation observation sheet. The Data were analysed by using descriptive statistics and the inferential statistics. The results of the science process skill hypothesis testing using Independent Sample t-test the values obtained Sig. (2- tailed) as 0,039 < 0,05. It shows that there is the effect of the miMind media in the discovery learning model toward the student’s science process skill of grade XI MIA MA Pesri Kendari on the subject matter of Colloid Systems.

Abstract

Teachers have a very important role in guiding the growth and development of the potential of each student. Students have different ways of understanding what has been taught. This difference is not a barrier for teachers in teaching. On the contrary, it is an encouragement for teachers to be more creative and innovative in designing learning that suits students' learning needs. Creating student-centered learning can be done through differentiated learning. MIScards integrated problem solving-oriented differentiation learning (OPTIMIS) in chemistry learning on the Stoichiometry topic subtopic Mole Concept was carried out on class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Bone for the 2024/2025 academic year. MIScards is a learning aid in the form of developing interactive card media that is designed visually, attractively and interactively using Canva by optimizing both sides of the card. Before the learning process is carried out, students are given an initial cognitive and non-cognitive assessment. From the results of the assessment, a differentiation design for content, processes and products was carried out using the differentiation learning canvas. This learning process uses the Problem Solving and Problem Based Learning models. The good practice of differentiation learning with OPTIMIS, which is implemented at UPT SMAN 1 Bone, produces effective results. Students are more critical in solving problems collaboratively, creatively and have an impact on a better learning ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to; 1) Describe the steps of developing STEAM-Project-based E-LKPD to improve students' chemical literacy on colloidal system material, and 2) Describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of STEAM-Project-based E-LKPD in improving students' chemical literacy on colloidal system material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). Learning activities follow the syntax of the STEAM-Project learning model which begins with determining fundamental questions, designing projects, monitoring the activeness and progress of students' projects, then assessing the results. The research subjects were 33 students of class XI MIPA 7 SMA Negeri 9 Gowa in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses Thiagarajan's 4D development model which consists of 4 stages, namely the Define stage, Design stage, develop stage, and disseminate stage. However, this research is limited only to the Develop stage for certain considerations. The instruments used in this study are validity instruments in the form of instrument validation sheets, practicality instruments in the form of teacher response questionnaires, student questionnaires, and implementation questionnaires, and effectiveness instruments in the form of evaluation tests. The results of the study obtained; 1) the product validation index of 0.88 with very valid criteria, 2) the average percentage of product practicality from the responses of teachers and students in the small-scale trial stage.

Abstract

This study is a qualitative descriptive study with the aim of knowing the scope of scientific literacy as knowledge, investigation of the nature of science, ways of thinking, and the interaction of Science Technology and society in chemistry textbook for year 10based on Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The sample of this research is a science book of kurikulum merdeka which contains chemistry material from four different publishers. The scope of scientific literacy aspects of science as knowledge in chemistry textbooks foryear10 has a very high emergence of 63.35%. The scope of scientific literacy aspects of science as an investigation of the nature of Science in chemistry textbooks class X has the second highest occurrence of 27.57%.The scope of scientific literacy aspects of science as a way of thinking of chemistry textbooks for year 10 have the third largest occurrence of 6.37%. The scope of scientific literacy aspects of science as the interaction of Science Technology and society in chemistry textbooks for year 10 has the lowest occurrence of 2.71%.

Abstract

This Study is a development research that aims to produce interactive media based on appypie reality in a valid, practical, annd effective pronlem based learning model. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The interactive media based on appypie that was developed was validated by two experts. Then, it was tested to 29 students in grade XI MIA 3 SMAN 3 Pinrang. The analysis used is data analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to valid based on the result of validating interactive media based on appypie with an average value of the media expert of 3.76, which are in very valid category. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to be practical based on (1) the implementation of interactive media with an average total percentage of 95,60%, which is in very high category; (2) the teacher's response with an average score of  95,75%, which is in very practical category; and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 88,25%, which is in very practical category. The interactive media is stated to be effective based on the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test and analysis of learning interest questionnaires with a class completeness percentage of 84% and an average value of the percentage of learning interest assessment of 81%, which is in high category. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that interactive media based on appypie in the proble, based learning learning model has valid, practical, and effective qualities.

Abstract

In this era of independent learning, students must strengthen their numeracy skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of developing web-based learning media google sites using a scientific approach to train student numeracy on basic chemical law material, determine the feasibility of learning media based on the assessment of validators, and determine the responses of teachers and students to the learning media. The research and development (R&D) model used is the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research instruments used were interview guidelines, validation sheets and questionnaire sheets. Validation was carried out by a team of experts who were chemistry lecturers and chemistry teachers. Limited trial subjects were 29 students of class X MA Al-Ma'arif Plus Tulungagung Skills. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are to produce a product in the form of google sites website-based learning media using a scientific approach to train student numeracy on basic chemical law material, product feasibility gets an average percentage from a team of experts of 91% with “very valid” criteria, teacher responses obtained an average percentage of 95% with “very valid” criteria and student responses obtained an average percentage of 79% with “feasible” criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the learning media based on the google sites website using a scientific approach is feasible to use as a learning media.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research which aims to determine the learning interest of grade XI KI 4 students at SMK SMTI Makassar towards the main material of redox reactions. The research design uses the matching pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was all students in grade XI majoring in Industrial Chemistry (KI) at SMK SMTI Makassar with the total of 98 students were divided into four classes, and the research sampels were the students of grade XI KI 4. The results of the descriptive analysis of learning interest obtained an average of 81. The results of the inferential analysis of learning interest by using the t test obtain a significant value of 0.00<0.05 which indicated that there are an increase in learning interest of class XI KI 4 students. Therefore, the conclusion of the research is that there is an increase in students' interest in learning class XI KI 4 SMK SMTI Makassar on  redox reactions subject.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) is aim to determine how to implement it the steps system the implementation of NHT learning models to improve student learning activitie and learning outcomes in class Xc SMAN 1 Bungin, Kab. Enrekang. This study was conducted by two cycles. The steps NHT implemente, namely:(1) present the objectives, motivation, material according to the indicators and learning objectives to the students and instructed the students to write it, then devide students into several groups, (2) distribute worksheet to the students and then provide questions to the students about material in the worksheet, 3) instruct the students to work in group to do worksheet question, (4) refers to the students based on the number of heads to present the result of the discussion and answer worksheet question, (5) asking the students to conclude that the material has been studied. The implementation of the cooperative of NHT learning model can improve student learning activite and the learning outcomes of students in class Xc SMAN 1 Bungin.
