Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education level, organizational commitment, and capital on cooperative  growth, both partially and simultaneously. The study was conducted at a savings and loan cooperative in Kupang in 2019. The type of data in this study is primary data and data sources obtained directly from the results of questionnaires or questionnaires that have been filled out by respondents. Sampling was carried out using census techniques. Data collection method is a questionnaire method with a measurement technique used is Summated Rating Method: Likert Schale (Likert scale). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results achieved in this study, that based on the F test there is a significant influence between the Level of Education, Organizational Commitment and Capital on the  Growth of Cooperatives in Savings and Credit Cooperatives in Kupang City. Whereas based on the t test it was concluded that only the Education Level variable did not affect the Cooperative Growth. Meanwhile, the variable Organizational Commitment and Capital has a positive and significant effect on cooperative  growth.Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan, komitmen organisasi, dan permodalan terhadap pertumbuhan  koperasi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian dilakukan pada koperasi simpan pinjam di kota Kupang tahun 2019. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sumber data diperoleh secara langsung dari hasil kuesioner atau angket yang telah diisi oleh responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sensus. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode kuesioner dengan teknik pengukuran yang digunakan adalah Summated Rating Method: Likert Schale (skala likert). Teknik analisis data yang dipakai berupa Analisis  Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini, bahwa berdasarkan pengujian F ada pengaruh signifikan antara Tingkat Pendidikan, Komitmen Organisasi dan Permodalan terhadap Pertumbuhan  Koperasi pada Koperasi Simpan Pinjam di Kota Kupang. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji t disimpulkan bahwa hanya variabel Tingkat Pendidikan yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pertumbuhan  koperasi. Sedangkan, variabel Komitmen Organisasi dan Permodalan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan  koperasi

Abstract

Introduction: Bark of kepok banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) contains high cellulose that can be synthesized into sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC). Na-CMC can be used as a raw material for the preparation of edible film. Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose from kepok banana bark combine with plasticizer to produce edible films with good characteristics and quality. Methodology: Edible films were made with varying concentrations of 6%, 10%, and 14% Na-CMC; 4% glycerol and 9% sorbitol as plasticizer. Edible films were made using casting method and characterized including organoleptic test, thickness, pH, water absorption, elongation, and tensile strength. Result: Edible film made is in the form of thin layer, transparent white in color, and odorless; thickness 0,10±0,01-0,38±0,01 mm; pH 7,1±0,08-7,7±0,04; moisture content 35,47-91,97%; elongation 16,33±3,66-53,29±6,13%; and tensile strength 0,0528±0,00-3,9871±0,04 MPa.. Conclusion: Different concentrations of Na-CMC and plasticizer affect the characteristics produced. The best result based on Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) is formula F5 with 10% Na-CMC concentration and 9% sorbitol as plasticizer

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Katuk leaves (Sauropus androgynus L.Merr) are a plant that contains a variety of phytochemicals that have the potential to be developed as cancer drugs derived from natural ingredients. Objective: to determine the antimitotic activity of soluble and insoluble ethanol extracts of n-hexane of katuk leaves towards inhibiting cell division. sea urchin (Tripneustus gratilla Linn) eggs and determined the IC50 value of the n-hexane soluble and insoluble fractions, as well as identifying bioactive compounds in the most active Sauropus androgynus fraction. Methods: extraction using 96% ethanol solvent then partitioning using n-hexane solvent using liquid-solid technique. The extract obtained was then tested for its antimitotic effect using sea urchin egg cells. Results: The hexane insoluble extract had antimitotic activity with an IC50 of 0.79 μg/ml and the n-hexane soluble ethanol extract 16.46 μg/ml. Fractionation of the n-hexane insoluble ethanol extract using vacuum liquid chromatography produced 15 fractions which were further divided into subfractions A, B and C. Each subfraction had an IC50 of 2.63 μg/ml, 0.06 μg/ml and 3.98 μg/ml respectively. Conclusion: Fraction B showed the best activity with an inhibition value of 0.06 μg/ml. The results of the identification of bioactive compounds in fraction B showed the presence of phenol, flavonoid, triterpenoid, and steroid compounds. Abstract

Teachers have a very important role in guiding the growth and development of the potential of each student. Students have different ways of understanding what has been taught. This difference is not a barrier for teachers in teaching. On the contrary, it is an encouragement for teachers to be more creative and innovative in designing learning that suits students' learning needs. Creating student-centered learning can be done through differentiated learning. MIScards integrated problem solving-oriented differentiation learning (OPTIMIS) in chemistry learning on the Stoichiometry topic subtopic Mole Concept was carried out on class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Bone for the 2024/2025 academic year. MIScards is a learning aid in the form of developing interactive card media that is designed visually, attractively and interactively using Canva by optimizing both sides of the card. Before the learning process is carried out, students are given an initial cognitive and non-cognitive assessment. From the results of the assessment, a differentiation design for content, processes and products was carried out using the differentiation learning canvas. This learning process uses the Problem Solving and Problem Based Learning models. The good practice of differentiation learning with OPTIMIS, which is implemented at UPT SMAN 1 Bone, produces effective results. Students are more critical in solving problems collaboratively, creatively and have an impact on a better learning ecosystem.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kanker merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan sel-sel jaringan tubuh yang tidak normal. Sel kanker bersifat ganas dan dapat merusak fungsi jaringan tubuh. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui jenis kanker yang dapat dihambat, kandungan, dan aktivitas antikanker ekstrak kulit buah manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.). Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dari database yang digunakan yaitu Pubmed, Sciencedirect, Google Schoolar, MDPI. Hasil: dari analisis jurnal ditemukan 154 jurnal kemudian dilakukan identifikasi, skrining, dengan melihat kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian dari 10 jurnal ditemukan beberapa jenis kanker yang dapat dihambat oleh ekstrak kulit manggis yaitu kanker kulit, kanker kolekteral, kanker prostat, kanker payudara, kanker serviks, kanker darah, kanker mulut, kanker otak. Kandungan senyawa yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antikanker yaitu xantone yang paling banyak terkandung dalam buah manggis ialah α-mangostin, γ-mangostin dan β-mangosti. Aktivitas antikanker dari ekstrak kulit buah manggis menunjukkan sitotoksisitas yang kuat dalam menghambat proliferasi sel kanker dan menunjukkan aktivitas apoptosis. Kesimpulan: kulit buah manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) dapat menghambat pertumbuhan kanker serta berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai terapi komplementer. Abstract

The use of appropriate techniques will determine the success of achieving student competencies in learning. Learning techniques that tend to be monotonous make students less actively involved in learning and less training students’ critical thinking skills. Development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model is expected to be implemented effectively in class and assist students in learning chemistry. This development research aims at discovering: (1) the description of the development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model; and (2) the extent of the quality of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students on Atomic Structure material. The study consists of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed was test to 35 students of grade X MIA 4 at SMAN 3 Bone of Academic Year 2019/2020. The validity of the product was test by two assessors. This study employed the stages of TGT model, namely class presentation, group work, games, tournament, and appreciation. The stages of chemistry quiz was started from association activity and presented in a form of a quiz or question which used HOTS questions along with the games to motivate the students in learning and think critically. The results of the study reveal that: (1) the mean score of product validity is 3.71 (very valid); (2) the data of learning motivation questionnaire X ̅ = 3.31 (high); (3) the mean score of N-Gain of KBK is 0.79 (high); (4) The teacher and students indicated a very positive response with the percentage of 96.88% and 87.11%. Therefore, the conclusion is the chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model developed in chemistry learning on Atomic Structure material is valid, practical, and effective to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract

Every teacher certainly wants to see students more focused and enthusiastic in learning. As a teacher, of course you feel restless and anxious to see students who are less focused and tend to get bored when studying. Thus, teachers always strive to create fun and meaningful learning to motivate students to learn. One of the efforts made to increase student learning motivation is through social emotional learning. Social Emotional Learning (PSE) is learning in understanding, experiencing, managing emotions and achieving positive goals as well as learning that teaches how to feel and show empathy for others as well as build and maintain positive relationships or be skilled in making responsible decisions. PSE is very important for everyone to learn and understand. For teachers, integrating social-emotional learning in learning chemistry on the topic Carboxylic acids and esters is very helpful for students in learning chemistry. This learning was carried out for class XII MIPA students in Even Semester for the 2022/2023 Academic Year at SMA Negeri 1 Bone. Includes learning with the STOP Technique (breathing with full awareness) at the beginning of learning. Furthermore, Finger Painting Techniques are the core learning activities and end with Active Communication Role Play activities by sharing experiences and Reflections. By integrating PSE both at the beginning of learning, the core and the end of learning can have a positive impact on encouraging students to learn to be more enthusiastic, happy, confident and focused on learning and improving student relationship skills.
