Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to know how to implement the steps of Guided Inquiry learning Model through Contextual Approach to improve the activity and study results of the Student of Class XI IPA3 of SMAN 7 Pinrang. This research was held by two cycles. Research result data show the average percentage of student learning activities the first cycle were 46. 80% in less active category and the second cycle were 69.28% in active category andcompleteness class percentage the first cycle were 33.33% not complete category and the second cycle were 83.33% with complete category. It can conclude that the steps of guided inquiry learning model through contextual approach can be improve the activity and study result of SMAN 7 Pinrang student.

Abstract

Abstract

Many students are misconception, so the researchers do research with the aims to analyze the level of understanding of the participants’ concept students and the factors causing students’ misconceptions on the subject matter stoichiometry. Data collection uses open-ended diagnostic tests with a scale CRI with 18 numbers and interviews. The results showed the percentage of understanding concepts of 21% with a low percentage category, understand the concept but not sure at 7%, with the low category, the percentage of misconceptions of 12% with low categories and percentage do not understand the concept of 61% with a high category. Factors that cause misconception include a) students; c) how to teach.

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) assessment of Chemistry learning in the 2013 Curriculum, 4) Obstacles in implementing Chemistry learning in the 2013 Curriculum. This type of research is classified as evaluation research. Sources of data were obtained from all Chemistry teachers in Senior High School of Wajo who had implemented the 2013 Curriculum, the research data included planning, implementing, evaluating Chemistry learning. Data collection techniques using checklist sheets, interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Chemistry Learning Planning Aspects of the 2013 Curriculum in Senior High School of Wajo in the even semester of the academic year 2019/2020 reached 91% included in the very complete category, the Learning Implementation Aspect reached 87% included in the good category, and in the Aspect Chemistry Learning Assessment reached 73% included in the quite good category. The obstacles that have not been maximally implemented in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum are on the use of a scientific approach, the use of the 2013 curriculum-based learning model, as well as on the assessment of learning in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to produce STEAM-based electronic learning device on colloid material to increase student’s interest and learning achievement that are valid, practical and effective. The development model uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages : (1) the analysis phase includes curriculum analysis, student analysis, concept analysis, formulation of learning objectives, and task analysis; (2) the design, which includes the stage of selecting the format and initial design of the RPP, e-module and E-LKPD using the Canva application; (3) the device development stage by integrating STEAM aspects and following the Project Based Learning (PjBL) syntax; (4)the deployment stage is the testing phase of learning tools that have been validated by experts and have been revised by developers; (5) the evaluation phase includes the evaluation of learning devices after going through the trial phase. Analysis of the results of the validation of RPP, e-Modul and e-LKPD based on the STEAM PjBL model, namely 3.53; 3.80; and 3.77 very valid categories. Practical based on the practicality test by looking at the implementation of STEAM-based learning the PjBL model has an average value of M = 1.87 which means that it is fully implemented; the responses of students and teachers were very positive with a percentage of 90.91% and 85.25%. Learning Devices also meet the effective criteria because the class completeness reaches 84.85% and the n-gain results in increasing interest in learning are in the medium criteria.

Abstract

This experimental research aims to examine the influence of Discovery Learning Model on critical thinking skills and redox learning outcomes. The research design used was Posttest-Only Control Design and obtained students of grade X MIA 1 cconsisted of 25 people as the experimental class and grade X MIA 2 consisted of 29 people as the control class. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study reveal that learning using the Discovery Learning Model obtains the value of critical thinking skills are 79%. The cognitive learning outcomes are 83%, affective learning outcomes are 83%, and psychomotor learning outcomes are 80%, which is higher than conventional learning. Thus, they have a significant influence based on hypothesis testing on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills with the value of Sig. (2- tailed) < 0.05. In addition, the results of critical thinking skills have a correlation with learning outcomes with Pearson correlation values of 0.853, 0.811, and 0.652, outcomes is at a very high and sufficient level of closeness. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is the use of Discovery Learning Model influences critical thinking skills and redox learning outcomes.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop an application-based learning media called the Edmodo application by adopting the Flipped Classroom learning model into learning to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes during the pandemic in Reaction Rate subject which is valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this study referred to the Addie development model, which consisted of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Edmodo media developed had conducted through the validation stage by validators/experts and had gone through trials, and had been revised by developers so resulted a learning media which is valid, practical, and effective. The results show that the developed Edmodo media has: (1) the media expert validation by 3.96 with very valid criteria, (2) the material expert validation by 3.83 with very valid criteria. Edmodo media is stated to be practical because in the practicality test related to: (1) its implementation in the Flipped Classroom learning model is at an average value of M = 1.98 with the category of fully implemented, (2) the teacher's response is very positive with a percentage of 97.00% with very practical criteria, and (3) the students' responses are very positive with a percentage of 83.69% with very practical criteria. The media also met the effectiveness criteria with the results: (1) there is a difference in the average students’ learning motivation before and after the trial and (2) the learning outcomes meet the effective criteria with a class completeness percentage of 84%.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah peserta didik SMAN 11 Kabupaten Pangkep. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah: Permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra yaitu : 1) peserta didik kurang termotivasi menulis karya ilmiah, 2) pemahaman dalam menulis karya ilmiah masih rendah, 3) tulisan karya ilmiah peserta didik yang masih belum berkualitas, 4) peserta didik menganggap karya tulis ilmiah tidak terlalu penting karena tidak ada kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah selama bersekolah, dan 5) minat baca peserta didik yang rendah. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan PKM ini adalah peserta didik SMAN 11 Pangkep dapat mengetahui bagaimana menyusun karuya tulis ilmiah yang baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah: sosialisasi program, rencana tindakan, penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, pendampingan, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah : (1) para peserta pelatihan benar-benar mengikuti penyampaian materi oleh penyaji. Peserta aktif dalam sesi diskusi selama kegiatan penyampaian materi sehingga diskusi berlangsung dengan baik, (2) sebanyak 22 orang peserta yang hadir selama kegiatan berlangsung. Para peserta adalah peserta didik SMAN 11 Pangkep, dan (3) lebih dari 75 % peserta telah mampu menyusun karya tulis ilmiah yang baik.Kata kunci: karya tulis, ilmiah, publikasi

Abstract

ABSTRAKSintesis Karbon Aktif dari Ampas Tebu (Bagasse) dan Aplikasinya Sebagai Penurun Konsentrasi COD Limbah Cair Gula. Skripsi. Program Studi Kimia, Jurusan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Univeritas Negeri Makassar. (Dibimbing oleh Diana Eka Pratiwi dan Dr. Hasri)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik karbon aktif dan persentase penurunan konsentrasi COD limbah cair gula yang telah diadsorpsi menggunakan karbon aktif ampas tebu. Karakterisasi karbon aktif ampas tebu meliputi penentuan rendemen, kadar air, dan kadar abu. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berupa rendemen arang sebesar 57.7263 %. Konsentrasi optimum karbon aktif pada konsentrasi aktivator 0.2 M, dengan kadar air rata-rarta sebesar 1.6662%, kadar abu rata-rata sebesar 54.2013%. (supervised by Diana Eka Pratiwi and Dr. Hasri)This study aims to determine activated carbon characteristics and the percentage of reduction in COD levels of sugar liquid waste that bagasse activated the carbon. Characterization of bagasse activated carbon includes determination of yield, moisture content, and ash content. Based on the test results, the form of the charcoal yield of 57.7263%, the optimum concentration of activated carbon shows that at an activator concentration of 0.2 M, with an average water content of 1.6662%, an average ash content of 54.2013%. The COD level of the liquid waste sugar decreased by an average of 54.9044%.Keywords: Bagasse, activated charcoal, COD, and sugar liquid waste

Abstract

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Mata Pelajaran Proses Industri Kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII Kimia Industri 2 pada mata pelajaran Proses Industri Kimia dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah. Sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Kimia Industri 2 SMK Negeri 1 Pasuruan sebanyak 18 orang. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah penugasan, diskusi, dan presentasi dengan pendekatan saintifik-TPACK. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan evaluasi di akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di awal pembelajaran adalah 52.78 dengan ketuntasan belajar adalah 33.33% dan di akhir pembelajaran nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 94.44 dengan ketuntasan belajar adalah 88.89%. Maka berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII Kimia Industri 2 SMK Negeri 1 Pasuruan pada mata pelajaran Proses Industri KimiaKata kunci:hasil belajar, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, proses industri kimia
