Abstract

The teaching and learning process, especially the process of evaluating student learning outcomes, the teacher still uses a semi-conventional evaluation process where the exam process is carried out using social media to send student exam results which are done manually on paper. This kind of evaluation process is less effective and efficient, both in terms of time, the method used, and the examination process which requires a long time and inaccurate examinations. For this reason, the authors designed a Computer Based Test (CBT) application as a media for evaluating student learning outcomes. The study aims to develop an Android-based Computer Based Test whether it is valid, practical, and effective in the learning exam / evaluation process. This research method is Research and Development which is focused on developing a smartphone-based Computer Based Test, especially Android. The development model used refers to the Alessi and Trollip development model, which consists of 3 stages, namely: planning, design, and development. The total research subjects were 30 students and 1 mathematics subject teacher. The media developed was validated by media experts and material experts, with the results of validation by material experts obtained an average score of 3.7 (very valid) and by media experts an average score of 3.8 (very valid) was obtained. This means that it can be stated that the Android-based Computer Based Test is very practical in the evaluation / exam process in mathematics subjects. Based on the results of the feasibility test of the Computer Based Test, it can be concluded that the use of the Computer Based Test is feasible to be used as a medium for evaluating learning in mathematics subjects

Abstract

Abstract: Research aims: (1) to develop online teaching materials (2) to design online teaching materials (3) to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of online teaching materials for science subjects in grade V SD Negeri 32 Bungloe, Bantaeng Regency during Covid - 19 era. This used Research and development methods (R & D) which is focused on developing online teaching materials using flipbooks. The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages, namely: analysis, development, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that the online teaching materials using the developed flipbook were declared valid, where the validation of the material and the media obtained very valid category results. The results of the assessment of respondents in small group trials and teacher responses to teaching material products were very practical, it can be seen from the responses of students and teachers who obtained the very practical category. The development of online teaching materials that are effectively developed, It can be seen from the average learning outcome recapitulation that there is an increase of student learning outcomes between before and after the use of online teaching materials.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian: (1) Mengembangkan bahan ajar online (2) Mendesain bahan ajar online (3) Mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan bahan ajar online mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 32 Bungloe Kabupaten  Bantaeng di Era Covid 19. Metode penelitian pengembangan (Researh and Development/R&D) yang difokuskan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar online dengan menggunakan flipbook. Model ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 tahap, yaitu: analisis (analysis) desain (design) pengembangan (development) implementasi (implementation) dan evalusai (evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar online menggunakan flipbook yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, dimana validasi materi ddan media memperoleh hasil kategori sangat valid. Hasil penilaian responden uji coba kelompok kecil dan tanggapan guru terhadap produk bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat praktis dilihat dari respon siswa dan guru yang memperoleh kategori sangat praktis. Pengembangan bahan ajar online yang dikembangkan efektif dilihat dari rata-rata rekapitulasi hasil belajar menunjukakan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan bahan ajar online.

Abstract

Pendidikan perlu terus berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan zaman. Mengingat dampak kemajuan teknologi terhadap bidang pendidikan, maka pendidikan perlu mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi, khususnya sebagai alat penunjang dalam rangka mencetak generasi yang kreatif, inovatif, dan berdaya saing.Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi awal ditemukan bahwa masih terdapat materi perkuliahan yang belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh mahasiswa dan terbatasnya penggunaan media interaktif dalam proses perkuliahan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan multimedia interaktif, 2) merancang multimedia interaktif, 3) menilai validitas dan kepraktisan multimedia interaktif. Berdasarkan tujuan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE sehingga menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 yang dapat diakses baik secara online maupun offline. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk dilakukan validasi materi dengan persentase 93%, dan validasi media dengan persentase 97% yang menunjukkan tingkat validitas yang tinggi. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji kepraktisan yang meliputi uji individu melibatkan 4 mahasiswa memperoleh nilai 90%, uji kelompok kecil melibatkan 28 mahasiswa memperoleh nilai 88%, dan respon dosen mata kuliah memperoleh nilai 94%. Hasil pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 dikombinasikan dengan Learning Management System yang dapat diakses melalui link website memudahkan akses pengguna melalui perangkat mobile maupun komputer. Maka dari itu, multimedia interaktif dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the transformational leadership of the head of a private high school in Makassar City. The approach in this study is Quantitative with a descriptive type of research that seeks to describe the four dimensions of transformational leadership of the head of a private high school in Makassar City. In this study, the data collection technique used was a questionnaire that was distributed to 92 samples from 1203 teacher populations who gave assessments to the heads of private high schools in Makassar City. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics that only describe the state of the data as it is through parameters such as mean, median, mode, frequency distribution and other statistical measures. The results showed that the transformational leadership of the head of a private high school in Makassar City has (1) a tendency to ideal influence or charisma with a presentation of 77 or 83.16% is in a very high category, (2) inspirational motivational tendencies with presentations of 68.5% are in a very high category, (3) intellectual stimulation tendencies with a percentage of 66.3% are in a very high category,  and (4) the tendency of individual consideration with presentations of 50% is in the high category. Research findings: Principals as transformational leaders can improve response, and commitment, pay attention to the concerns and needs of teachers and employees under them, change the awareness of teachers and employees under them about problems by helping them see problems in new ways, and excite and inspire teachers and employees under them to make extra efforts to achieve school goals. can help teachers and employees to see the positive impact of their work through direct interaction by responding, building commitment and making extra efforts to achieve school goals.

Abstract

The technological age dragged other fields to use technology, including video games. As a result, video games are increasingly popular with school children, especially elementary school children. Even though teachers are the front line to divert children's attention from playing games to learning animations, the teacher working group of Rayon 18 South Sulawesi has limitations in making interesting videos even though they have carried out several activities. Therefore, empowering teachers is a solution to apply research results by participating in training to make learning animation videos using the assessment as a learning approach. The activity was attended by 35 elementary school teachers from the rayon for one day with three sessions. The direction of the line of training participants' understanding ability increases where the post-test score is higher than the pre-test. The correlation between questions shows a consistent increase. Likewise, this increases teacher skills in installing applications, applying video applications to create videos, and increasing teacher skills in creating animated learning videos. Teachers feel satisfied receiving the benefits of taking part in training in making learning animation videos. Therefore, teachers can increase creativity by creating learning animation videos so students are more interested and focused on learning.

Abstract

The success or failure of a lesson will be seen during the teaching and learning process because it will show how prepared the learner is with the suitable materials and strategies. This study aims to analyze the need for developing teaching materials, designing teaching materials, and validating the validity and practicality of the effectiveness of developing teaching materials in English courses. This research method is Research and Development. The development model refers to S. Thiagarajan et al., which consists of 4 stages: Define, design, develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects were 38 students and one lecturer. Data collection techniques using qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires). English teaching materials were developed and validated by material and media experts, with material and media validation being very valid. The small group trials obtained a very practical category. In contrast, the large group trials obtained a practical category and, as seen from the lecturer's response in assessing teaching materials, obtained a very practical category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of teaching materials can be seen from the passing rate on tests given to students, with results > 80 in the very good category. Based on the results found, it can be concluded that practical and effective teaching materials are used in the learning process in English courses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Peer Teaching Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar.Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar. pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus dan data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada siklus I dengan rata-rata adalah 33,3% dan pada siklus II adalah 90%, berarti adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa.Dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu 9 siswa atau 30% pada kategori sedang meningkat pada siklus II yaitu 17 siswa atau 56,6% pada kategori tinggi. Dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu 66,3 meningkat menjadi 81,6 padasiklus II dan peningkatan presentase ketuntasan siswa dari 33,3% menjadi 90%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Pembelajaran Peer Teaching dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of e-book use on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects for class VII at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. The use of E-books in the learning process is considered capable of improving student learning outcomes by attracting students' attention to read the material in the E-book. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. This study uses an experimental research type, where this type of research is used to compare the learning outcomes obtained before the implementation of E-book-based learning media and after the implementation of E-book-based learning media on Indonesian language learning outcomes in class VII at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. This study uses an experimental research type, so in collecting data can be done by means of questionnaires, tests, and observations or observations. The population of this study was all class VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. The samples taken were class VII F students totaling 28 students and class VII J students totaling 29 students. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar from July 11 to July 26, 2023. This school is located at Jalan Tamalate VI No.2, Kassi-Kassi, Rappocini District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. In this school, class VII is divided into 11 classes where class VII F consists of 28 students and class VII J consists of 29 students

Abstract

This quantitative study examines the impact of Ispring Suite media on student learning outcomes. Data collection was carried out using test sheets and questionnaires. Reliability tests were performed to calculate the average score for each question item related to Ispring Suite media and its effect on the learning outcomes of Grade VII students at SMPN 13 Makassar. After completing the reliability tests, the data underwent a normality test, which revealed that the data was not normally distributed, likely due to the small sample size. As a result, a non-parametric test, specifically the Wilcoxon test, was used to analyze the data. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant Asymp value of 0.005, which is less than the 0.05 significance level. According to the decision criteria for the Wilcoxon test, when the Asymp Sig. value is below 0.05, H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Therefore, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Ispring Suite media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in Grade VII science subjects at SMPN 13 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need to optimize the design of psychoeducational guidance services in elementary schools. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied, and questionnaires were distributed to teachers and students, serving as the primary data collection tool. The analysis employed descriptive statistical techniques to illustrate elementary school students' needs for psychoeducational guidance services. The process of descriptive statistical analysis involves several steps: first, gathering data through questionnaires; next, presenting the data in a visual format such as frequency percentage tables for each indicator; and finally, interpreting the presented data. The results of the study indicate an urgent need for more comprehensive guidance and counseling services that are structured, innovative, and effective in meeting students' needs and supporting their holistic development, both in academic and personal aspects. The absence of BK teachers in elementary schools, challenges in student learning motivation, and variations in the use of learning methods and media appropriate to students' learning styles indicate the need for special interventions. Social support from family, friends, and teachers and a conducive school environment are important factors that need to be strengthened through psychoeducational guidance service devices. By focusing on developing interactive teaching materials and effective guidance strategies, this service can increase students' motivation, participation, and self-confidence, thereby supporting a more optimal learning process.
