“Khazanah: Jurnal Mahasiswa” merupakan platform publikasi jurnal yang mulai diresmikan pada tahun 2009. Jurnal Khazanah diterbitkan oleh Direktorat Pembinaan Kemahasiswaan (DPK) Universitas Islam Indonesia yang bekerjasama dengan Kelompok Studi Laboratorium Mahasiswa (LabMa) Universitas Islam Indonesia. Jurnal Khazanah telah terverifikasi pada Online Journal System (OJS) dibawah naungan jounal.uii.ac.id sejak tahun 2011. Jurnal Khazanah telah rutin menerbitkan jurnal dalam 1-2 edisi per tahun. Karya yang diterbitkan merupakan suatu hasil penelitian orisinil atau tinjauan Pustaka yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa. Ruang lingkup karya yang diterbitkan mencakup sains dan sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of Human Rights Education (HAM) and National Character Education at Mutiara Persada Junior High School. This research applies a qualitative approach through descriptive research, data collected through interviews, direct observation of teachers, and documentation of student activities. The results showed that Mutiara Persada Junior High School has successfully integrated human rights education and national character education effectively. This implementation is done through integration in the official curriculum, the implementation of various out-of-class activities, and the cultivation of positive values in students' daily activities. The school environment that facilitates inclusiveness and the application of contextual approaches have proven to be important elements in the success of student character building. However, this study also found some challenges, especially with regard to internalizing values deeply and maintaining consistency in the implementation of character education programs. The findings emphasize the importance of continuous attention to these aspects for the development of more comprehensive and effective character education strategies in the future.

Abstract

This study investigates the leadership characteristics of Generation Z (Gen Z), particularly within higher education settings, from an educational psychology perspective. The importance of this research stems from Gen Z's distinct leadership style, which often coexists with emotional volatility and mental development challenges. The primary objective is to identify Gen Z's leadership characteristics and unveil the psychological factors in the educational domain that contribute to their leadership effectiveness. To this end, the research applies Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic framework. The methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach supported by a comprehensive literature review. Data were gathered from scholarly publications and reliable sources, using keywords such as "Gen Z leadership," "educational psychology," and "Freudian psychoanalysis." Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, integrating literature findings with Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The research findings are expected to present a comprehensive overview of Gen Z's leadership dynamics, including their strengths and inherent limitations. The implications of this study are vital for formulating effective support strategies to optimize Gen Z's leadership potential in the future.
