Abstract

Background: The development in various industrial sectors in Indonesia is not far from the development of advanced materials in food packaging applications. In terms of material, 44% of the circulating packaging is in flexible form, 14% is rigid plastic packaging, and 28% is paperboard packaging. The food in packaging has expired or has decayed before expiration date due to contact with other compounds. Currently, a system has been developed forthe development of materials for food packaging so as to increase the safetyand shelf life of food ingredients which is commonly referred to as intelligentand active packaging. Method: This active and intelligent packaging system will utilize biopolymer compounds combined withdyes in pH-sensitive edible film preparations so they are be able to show color changes when there is a change in pH. The author uses the method of studying literature in national and international journals whose validity is verified to examine the use of chitosan biopolymer from shrimp shells with the addition of anthocyanin compounds from Rosella flowers as colorindicators and lemongrass as an antioxidant that will extend the shelf life of food. Result: Based on the results the authors can conclude that this active and intelligent packaging innovation has goodpotential as an indicator to determine freshness and prolong shelf life of fresh food products. The incorporation of Rosella flower extract in the film can increase the value of light transmission, opacity, water content, and sensitivity to pH. Meanwhile, the incorporation of essential oils significantlyincreases the elongation and opacity values and produces a smoother film surface. The hydrophobic nature of essential oils can reduce value of water content in the film. Conclusion: Authors hope that the Intelligent Packaging based on chitosan and anthocyanin from Rosella flower extract with the addition of essential oils can be applied further. Abstract

In construction projects definitely require a large cost in the construction process so that the cost estimation stage is needed first. In the cost estimation stage, uncertainty and impending risks are usually not involved. Risk and uncertainty are unavoidable important factors in project financing. To determine the risks and uncertainties required measurements using the Monte Carlo simulation method. Monte Carlo is often used to model and analyze systems to get the best project cost estimates. This research aims to determine the maximum and minimum value of the project based on the unit price of the unit. With the unit price, you can find out the probability of project success in accordance with the cost in the project cost budget, the results of cost estimates, and the percentage of cost comparison that will be experienced by the project with the Monte Carlo simulation method using Microsoft Excel. In this study, an analysis was conducted on the minimum unit price and maximum unit price with each unit price that has been determined in accordance with the project cost budget. The result of conducting a simulation is a probability distribution that is more realistic than the estimated cost value. The results of the study obtained a minimum value of Rp. 357,000,000.00 and a maximum value of Rp. 389,000,000.00 by using Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) graph, as for determining the percentage probability of using the Probability Density Function (PDF) graph with a success rate of cost conformity in the project cost budget of 100%. The project can achieve a success of 74.31% at a cost of Rp. 377,000,000.00. Keywords: Monte Carlo, Simulation, Financial Risk, Cost Estimation

Abstract

There are several factors in assessing the quality of a hospital, namely the level of expertise of doctors owned, quality supporting facilities and infrastructure, and the queuing system implemented by the hospital. If the arrival rate and level of service provided to the patient are not balanced it will cause initiation for the patient and a loss to the hospital because the patient tends to switch to a hospital that has a more optimal level of service. In this study, the method used is a simulation method using flexsim software. The data were obtained using primary data that has been observed directly on the outpatient service queue system of dr. Sardjito Hospital. From the data searched for data distribution using flexsim feature, experfit. During the time the simulation was run found obstacles in the polyclinic queue of obstetrics and obstetric diseases which is in accordance with direct blame. It is known that the average waiting time of the polyclinic queue is for 3.5 hours which is classified as very long and the utilization of doctors works by 44.65%. So there need to be improvements in the form of alternative models in the queue, namely by increasing the number of rooms and doctors who work with as many as 2 and 3 units. From the results of a significant average waiting time from the initial model change with the alternative model, which is as much as 3 units for 2.6 hours with a ratio of 0.9 hours that became the chosen alternative. Based on the research can help the hospital in providing queue services in the queue of obstetric polyclinics and obstetric diseases to patients and the doctor's working time is more optimal and does not exceed the ability of the doctor's work. Abstract

Unfeasible rice is one of the problems in food logistics in Indonesia. This unfeasible rice tends to make farmers or BULOG losers because they have to sell it at a cheaper price or turn it into animal feed. The characteristics of unfeasible rice are many breeds of rice lice, yellow in color, musty smell, and overgrown with fungus. Based on the data, in 100 grams of rice contains 0.1 grams of sucrose (C12H22O11). Sucrose is a double sugar molecule (disaccharide) that can be broken down into simple sugars (monosaccharides) through enzymatic reactions. Monosaccharides are utilized by humans as the main energy source. This shows that rice is not suitable for consumption and can be used as an alternative raw material for making sugar. Therefore, the idea of innovation of rice that is not suitable for consumption was born into sugar. This study aims to determine the enzymatic ratio and the optimum reaction time of the hydrolysis reaction of unfit rice using alpha amylase. So, it is hoped that this research can be used as an initial study to optimize agricultural yields in finding alternative raw materials for making sugar. The method used in this research is the hydrolysis method on rice that has been mashed using the amylase enzyme. Experiments were carried out with variations in the number of enzymes used and the length of time for hydrolysis. The percentages of enzymes used for one kilogram of rice were 0.8%, 0.9%, and 1% with two days of hydrolysis, three days and four days. The optimum results obtained showed that the highest glucose level was 11,769.45 ppm at a ratio of 0.9% w/w enzyme raw material on the fourth day. Abstract

The process of processing crude oil requires a furnace that serves as a "cooking" crude oil to a set temperature point which will then be processed further with other devices. The heating process by furnaces needs to be considered four variables, namely temperature, pressure, flow, and fluid level. To support these variables, parameters are needed that support in fulfilling the crude oil heating process. Inefficient operation of furnaces becomes the most important thing in the use of large energy. Increased efficiency is the best option so that energy use can be minimized. This research aims to find out the optimization of furnace debutanizer reboiler by using system dynamics method. The data needed in the study are supporting parameters such as excess water, fuel flow, fuel pressure, fuel temperature, and fuel gas temperature. The data is known to be related to each other and reciprocity by using the help of causal loop diagrams. If the concept has been in accordance with the causal loop diagram that has been created then perform the implementation on the flow diagram. To run simulations with system dynamics methods, equation mathematics is required. The output of the system dynamics simulation is a graph to perform the analysis. The results of this study found that fuel needs increase by 500 kg for one month. The increase was caused by excess water levels reaching 1.5%. While excess water is caused by the loss of oxygen levels in the furnace during the heating process by 0.33%. Therefore, the percentage of furnace optimization does not reach the maximum limit of 87.35%. In order for furnace optimization to be within the optimum limit, there needs to be a hold of oxygen levels in the furnace. By holding oxygen levels, the temperature in the furnace is stable. Abstract

Sebagian besar siswa yang telah lulus dari Sekolah Menengah Atas akan melanjutkan pendidikannya ke dunia perkuliahan. Beberapa diantara siswa tersebut akan memilih berkuliah di luar daerahnya. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya tidak semudah yang dibayangkan. Adanya sistem pembelajaran yang berbeda antara perkuliahan dengan Sekolah Menengah Atas serta budaya yang berbeda antara daerah asalnya dan daerah perantauannya membuat siswa mengalami culture shock. Culture shock pada mahasiswa akan menimbulkan masalah fisik dan psikis. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan culture intelligence. Culture intelligence menjelaskan mengenai komponen-komponen kecerdasan budaya dan skalanya yang dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam mengatasi culture shock pada mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi skala culture intelligence yang dimiliki mahasiswa, semakin rendah tingkat culture shock yang dimiliki mahasiswa tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 sejak setahun lebih yang lalu tak surut di Indonesia. Karena itu, sebagian besar aktivitas masih dilakukan secara berani terutama di bidang Pendidikan yaitu sistem pembelajaran berani yang memiliki dampak penurunan motivasi belajar. penelitian terhadap 50 mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut menghasilkan pengaruh yang signifikan antara sistem pembelajaran berani dengan motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Tanpa adanya motivasi, mahasiswa tidak dapat melakukan aktivitas belajar dengan baik sehingga mempengaruhi prestasi yang akan dicapainya. Motivasi yang rendah tentunya harus segera ditingkatkan oleh mahasiswa agar tidak menurunkan prestasi yang dicapainya. Penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar berani pada mahasiswa yaitu melalui peran religiusitas. Penulis menggunakan metode pendekatan pendekatan literatur terhadap berbagai jurnal terkait motivasi serta peran religiusitas. Studi literatur yang dilakukan memberikan hasil bahwa religiusitas berkorelasi positif dengan motivasi belajar bahkan motivasi untuk berprestasi. Religiusitas sebagai kematangan seseorang dalam perilaku beragama menjadi pendorong atau motivasi dalam mengarahkan, termasuk perilaku belajar. Dalam menerapkan religiusitas, pihak yang memiliki kontribusi besar adalah lingkungan terdekat dari individu tersebut, lingkungan keluarga. Langkah yang dicapai untuk menerapkan peran religiusitas agar motivasi belajar meningkat adalah dengan meningkatkan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai keagamaan yang nantinya akan membentuk determinasi diri siswa. Peran religiusitas ini sangat efektif untuk diterapkan pada mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar berani sehingga prestasi mahasiswa pun meningkat. Mahasiswa diharapkan turut meningkatkan religiusitas selama pembelajaran daringagar peran dari religiusitas tersebut tetap menyala dan pembelajaran berani selama masa pandemi akan tetap berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci: motivasi, belajar, religiusitas, mahasiswa

Abstract

Both conventional and Islamic banking has been in the market system for almost 50 years, since it began during the 1960s. Since that time, both conventional and Islamic banking has quick grown and is no longer a strange concept. The products and services provided have been well accepted, not only among Muslim countries and also non-Muslim countries. However, there is a lack of comparative between conventional bank and Islamic bank performance in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The paper aims to analyze the relationship between Islamic bank and conventional bank on their CSR performance. It is a conceptual attempt to discuss on how Islamic principles can influence the implementation of CSR in both conventional bank and Islamic banking system. The religious expect both the conventional bank and Islamic bank to have the strong influence to attract customers by using CSR. For that reason, this paper tries to investigate the relevant literature views and the relationship between conventional bank and Islamic bank concept on CSR. The paper try to find that, the concept of Islamic bank that comply with religious provision should exhibit more proactive CSR activity and policies. Islamic bank performance should be superior to conventional bank counterpart.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahasa dalam kehidupan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat mendasar, termasuk pada jejaring media sosial yang sudah menjadi sesuatu yang tak terpisahkan. Namun, banyak konten di media sosial berisi informasi yang tidak bermanfaat dan diperlukan dengan beredarnya konten-konten negatif dan berbahaya, seperti konten dewasa atau pornografi. Fungsi otak akan berubah pada seseorang yang memiliki kecanduan, salah satunya kecanduan konten pornografi. Maka dari itu, konten-konten dewasa tersebut merupakan ancaman serius yang dapat membahayakan generasi muda bangsa Indonesia, terutama anak-anak dan remaja yang merupakan cikal bakal menjadi tonggak bagi kemajuan dan pembangunan bangsa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun model klasifikasi konten dewasa menggunakan algoritma Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory (BiLSTM) Neural Network untuk mengklasifikasi konten dewasa dan non-dewasa pada media sosial Twitter dengan memanfaatkan Twitter API dan library Tweepy. Berdasarkan percobaan, model terbaik diperoleh dari model BiLSTM Double layer dengan dropout yang memiliki Accuracy 98.34% dan F1-Score sebesar 98.32%.

Abstract

Cabai merah merupakan salah satu komoditas strategis di Indonesia dan termasuk komoditas terbesar berdasarkan jumlah produksinya. Tanaman cabai merah memiliki masa panen lebih dari satu kali. Cabai merah di Indonesia terbilang tinggi dari segi kebutuhannya dan produksinya bersifat musiman sehingga membuat harga cabai merah fluktuatif. Analisis ARIMA salah satu metode yang cocok digunakan untuk peramalan data time series karena menggunakan nilai masa lalu dan sekarang untuk variabel dependen. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk memperoleh prediksi harga cabai merah untuk 12 periode mendatang. Data berupa harga konsumen cabai merah di Indonesia dari Januari 2017 sampai Desember 2021. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh model terbaik untuk peramalan harga cabai merah yaitu ARIMA (2,0,0). Hasil peramalan untuk Januari hingga Desember 2022 menunjukkan harga konsumen cabai merah mengalami kenaikan namun cenderung stabil berada dalam range harga yang sama. Kata kunci: Harga Konsumen, Cabai Merah, ARIMA.
