Abstract

Poverty is a serious problem faced by the Indonesian people from ancient times to thepresent. One that affects the level of poverty in Indonesia is the Human Development Index(IPM). Therefore, it is necessary to research the influence of HDI on the poverty level of eachprovince in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the HumanDevelopment Index on poverty levels in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. In additionto descriptive analysis, this study uses a simple linear regression analysis method to determinethe effect of the human development index on the poverty rate in Indonesia. The preliminaryfindings of this study conclude that the human development index affects the poverty level of -0.899. This means that the higher the Human Development Index, the lower the poverty level. From R square shows that 42.8 percent of the Human Development Index variable explains thepoverty variable, while the rest can be explained by other factors. This finding is expected toprovide recommendations to the government regarding human development. Keywords: Human development index, poverty rate, regression

Abstract

Background: Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2) is a novel virus that causes a global pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic was very fast through direct contact, so the government issued various policies to suppress the spread of Covid-19. Extension policies set by the government caused various responses, especially the dine-in regulation is a maximum of 20 minutes. Therefore, researchers predict the length of time a person eats and analyze the sentiment of Generation Z in order to apply data science in decision making. Methods: This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires through Google Form and analyzed using the Monte-Carlo method, while secondary data was obtained by scraping Twitter data and analyzed using sentiment analysis. Results: Based on the simulation carried out 10 times on the length of time eating at home and eating dine-in alone using the Monte-Carlo method, the prediction results obtained the average length of time eating for 17 minutes and 25 minutes with an accuracy rate of 96,393 respectively. % and 94,799%. Meanwhile, data testing using MAPE shows a prediction error rate of 3.472% for eating at home and 3.052% for dine-in alone, so it can be stated that the prediction success is 96.268% and 96.948%, respectively. These results indicate that the simulation results that have been carried out are accurate. Conclusions: Sentiment analysis results were also obtained, namely negative responses of 34.13%, positive of 30.2%, and neutral of 33.99%. Based on the negative views obtained from sentiment analysis on the PPKM dine-in policy, and the simulation results of the Monte Carlo method, there is a need for a review for the government in making policies. Abstract

Background: Marriage is a new chapter in life with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, realizing this goal is increasingly difficult. This is related to problems that occur in the domestic sphere, such as a declining family economy and fights that trigger violence and even divorce. Basically, the problems that occur are also motivated by the form of the traditional family role division format in which the husband as the head of the family plays a public role to provide for his family and the wife only plays a domestic role as a housewife. Meanwhile, one of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals is gender equality as in the target (5.1) to end all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere, and (5.5) ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making. Method: This study uses a systematic literature review method by collecting various relevant previous studies to be identified, reviewed, evaluated, and interpreted. Result: The results of this study indicate that in Indonesia there are still many socio-cultural influences on gender roles where men (husbands) do masculine tasks and women (wives) do feminine tasks. Therefore, there are still families who apply the traditional form of family role division. However, there are also families who have implemented equal roles in their families that are not fixed by gender. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to apply a pattern of partnership relationships in the family and the role of the government to realize the target (5.4) to recognize and value unpaid care and domestic work through the provision of public services, infrastructure and social protection policies and the promotion of shared responsibility within the household and the family as nationally appropriate. Abstract

Background: Since 2019, the phenomena of the transmission of the Sars CoV-2 virus, also known as Coronavirus Disease 2019 are still happening. The most common efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is use medical masks in accordance with the health protocol recommendations from the Indonesia government. WHO recommend use a medical masks maximum 4 hours a day. The aim of this study is to utilize medical mask waste with the addition of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) plastic to produce alternative bio-oil energy products. Method: The method used in this study is a quantitative and qualitative data-based method with literature studies and research, in which we collect data from various scientific journal sources, such as Garuda Ristekdikti, SINTA, and Google Scholar, using the keywords medical mask waste, Pyrolysis, Plastic waste, and HDPE. Result: The Pyrolysis produce bio oil that can be used as an alternative energy. Conversion of mask waste obtained from the pyrolysis method ranges from 50-60% liquid phase, solid (char) and gases. We improve the quantitative results by adding another raw material variable in the form of HDPE plastic, in which the ratio used is 1:1. Conclusion: The pyrolysis result of medical mask and HDPE plastic with a ratio of 1:1 has been proven to be able to improve the quality of our products qualitatively and quantitatively, which is obtain 28% of solid phase, 54% liquid phase and 18% gas phase,. Abstract

Chicken meat is a perishable food. The quality of chicken meat is largely due to poor handling from slaughter to marketing. The activity of bacteria that produce volatile amines causes changes in pH in chicken meat. Bacterial activity that we cannot see and control makes chicken customers sometimes restless to buy packaged cut chicken because they don't know whether the chicken is still fit for consumption or not. Today, smart packaging has emerged which is equipped with smart labels. The purpose of this study was to make a smart label for the anthocyanin extract of the Super Red Dragon Fruit Skin and determine its feasibility in determining the level of freshness of chicken meat. The best red dragon fruit peel extract was sample D4 obtained by maceration method using 96% ethanol as a solvent with 1M HCl acidified. The anthocyanin extract has a pH of 1.8 and anthocyanin content value of 104.722 g/L. Smart labels indicate the freshness level of chicken meat with a change in color, where a purple color indicates fresh chicken meat, a faded purple color indicates that the chicken meat is not fresh. The results of the feasibility of smart labels on pH stability experienced color changes in both acidic and alkaline conditions, but were more stable in acidic conditions. Abstract

Acne is an inflammation and blockage of the oil gland ducts in the skin caused by the bacteria Propionibacterium acne, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Staphylococcus aureus. Acne treatment is usually done by giving antibiotics and chemicals that have irritating side effects. Therefore, other alternatives are needed by using natural products that have milder side effects and are halal. The author reviews the potential of Betel Leaf Extract which can be used as an acne medication because it has a high antibacterial content. The method used in this paper is a narrative literature study. The author uses global journal publication websites such as Science Direct and Google Scholar with the keywords Betel Leaf, Antimicrobial, Propionibacterium, Acne, and Nano Spray Serum. Based on the literature obtained, the results of the ethanol extract of betel leaf have antibacterial activity against P. acne and multiresistant Staphylococcus aureus with a KBM of 0.5% w/v. Betel leaf extract is combined with distilled water, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate as a solvent, chitosan as a preservative, and acetic acid by ultrasonication method which functions to break particles into nano size with the help of sound waves above 20 kHz. The spray form was chosen because it can accelerate the absorption of serum into facial skin. In conclusion, Betel Leaf Extract has the potential to be a safe and halal organic material for serum spray preparations as a halal skincare solution for acne problems.
