Abstract

Xiaomi smartphone is a smartphone vendors from China newly entered the smartphone market in Indonesia, in contrast to the smartphone with low price and low quality. Xiaomi markets its products with a premium price and high quality products, positioning as a brand management newcomer. This study aims to analyze and discuss the influence of perceived quality and country of origin effect of the Xiaomi smartphone purchase intention (studies in the visitors of Plaza Marina Surabaya). The population in this study is a person aged 19-50 years old who is visiting Plaza Marina Surabaya. In this study, researcher used 220 samples. Sampling method is a non-probability sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. In multiple linear regression analysis results show the influence of variables perceived quality and country of origin effect for the purchase intention in the show of the value of Adjusted R Square of 0.407. From the results of the t test that has been done can be seen that the variable perceived quality and country of origin effect has a significant influence partially on the purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of organizational commitment on job satisfaction with job involvement as a moderator variable. The sample used in this study around 35 employees, that is all employees of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Surabaya Kusuma Bangsa Branch Office. However, from 35 sample of employees, only 31 returned. The data analyze technique used in the study is Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square with the help of SmartPLS 2.0 software. The results shows that there is a positive effect between organizational commitment on job satisfaction and job involvement weakens the positive influence of organizational commitment on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The company's performance usually seen from the financial aspect is generated by analyzing the financial statements of the income statement. Analyzing the income statement aims to determine the extent to which the corporate earnings to the owner for a certain period. Analyzing the income statement can be carried out by analyzing changes in gross profit. This analysis is useful to determine the level of efficient and effective company in business. The lower gross profit continuously can be caused by changes in the selling prices of products, changes in the price of production and other costs to be incurred by the company every year, causing a decrease in gross profit, which in turn lead to acceptance of the company's profits are reduced or even loss. Income is mainly influenced by three factors are interrelated to one another, namely sales volume, sales prices, and production costs. The research objective is to analyze the changes in gross profit (Gross Porfit), to assess the factors causing the change in gross profit PR Kembang Jati and search efforts to maintain the increase in gross profit to the company's performance can be improved.

Abstract

God encourages humans to walk on the Earth or travel (rihlah) in order to extend insights, to see the greatness and Majesty of God and to increase their Faith. This research aims to study how economic impacts of Sharia tourism in the Sunan Ampel Mosque Surabaya to the business activities surrounding that area. The economic impacts of tourism to a certain area consist on direct economic impact, indirect economic impact and induced impact.The research method used descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection was collected by interview and observation process. Informants in this study are people who involve in tourism activities of travellers, traders and labor who work in Sunan Ampel Mosque Surabaya. Analytical techniques are used to reduce, to present, to conclude and to verify the data.The result is the existence of religious tourisms of Sunan Ampel Mosque Surabaya gives the economic impact for the community around. Direct economic impacts increase the income of traders, by 44 percent. The indirect economic impact shown with labors wage of 8,2 percent and induced impact of labor expenses at tourist sites is used the most for food consumptions.

Abstract

In the development of business and the need for a process in which development is a series of conscious effort made towards a better state than before. Development is a multidimensional process of socioeconomic change.. This confirms that economic development is not a purely economic process, but rather a manifestation of the transformation or social change and cultural. Therefore, any process of economic development always involves a multidimensional factor in it. The transformation that occurred in Blimbingsari covering economic, social and cultural, among others, involve changes in the structure, initiator agent of change, towards more advanced (progress). From the description above, the authors raised three issues research, as follows: 1). What characteristic (unique) Blimbingsari Village? 2). Types of Entrepreneurial what is in the village Blimbingsari? 3). What is the role of entrepreneurship in rural Blimbingsari? The three issue of the study, the authors raised three research objectives, namely: 1). To explain the characteristic (unique) Village Blimbingsari. 2). To find out, the types of Entrepreneurial what is in the village Blimbingsari. 3). To explain the role of entrepreneurship in the village Blimbingsari. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative research with in-depth interviews, triangulation data and oral history. The village has happened Blimbingsari economic change (economic transformation), one of which is caused by the entrepreneurial. The types of entrepreneurship that exist in Blimbingsari such as poultry, cattle farmers, pig farmers, ranchers catfish, coconut fruit seller, the seller of chocolate, grocer, refill water seller, the owner of the fields, forests sengon, food stalls and the owner of the guest house/villa. There are also other entrepreneurs as employers coconut sugar makers who become entrepreneurs in the village Blimbingsari. It becomes a matter of interest to the author, in view of the development of entrepreneurship in villages Blimbingsari. The role of entrepreneurship in villages Blimbingsari which is to reduce unemployment and through their efforts, they can survive and even be able to finance their children for further studies. They were able to improve their living standards from "nothing into something". The author's suggestion is, there may be other factors that affect the economic transformation of this village is that the author has not been through. So that other researchers can continued.

Abstract

This research aims to compile and designing Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard on PT. DPI in order to achieve the objective of becoming an international organization or world class company.  According to David P. Norton which had been quoted by Mathews (2007), Balanced Scorecard is precise methodologies to develop measurement which is capable to describe the organizations strategy.  Development of Strategy Map is the key to design effective Balanced Scorecard. The analysis result stated that the Strategy Map of PT. DPI could be compiled by virtue of the strategic issues in the corporate level, meanwhile for the Balanced Scorecard design consists of four perspectives in which financial perspective to improve the ROI of strategic objective by increasing revenue from existing product and new product.  Customer perspective, with the strategic objective of customer satisfaction, increased market share by retaining existing customers and add new customers.  Internal Business Process Perspective, with a strategic objective of developing superior products, innovative and sophisticated, improved customer relationship management.  Learning and Growth Perspective, with strategic objectives to improve the quality, professionalism of human resources DPI, to develop a conducive climate in DPI (improve DPI climate).

Abstract

Cost is an important factor in ensuring the company win in the competition on the market. Consumers will choose a manufacturer that is able to produce products and services that have high quality with low prices. Costs of Management Systems Contemporary emphasis on search than the allocation. And management based activities are at the heart of contemporary operating control system. At least two major factors that must be considered in the selection of cost driver (cost driver) are: the cost of measurement and the degree of correlation between the consumption cost driver with the actual overhead. Cost driver is divided into two categories, namely the structural cost driver and executional cost driver. Cost driver is the basis used to charge collected on cost pool to the product. So that the calculation of the cost through Time Driven activity-based costing system, the company obtain more precise information and accurate.

Abstract

Knowledge of the people and businesses that increase would be so many impacts generated by used biohazard ingredients on cosmetics, resulting in the increasing the level of awareness of concern for the importance of the healty. It was addressed by marketers to perform marketing activities of the healty, so that the term green marketing. One of them by launching green products. Melilea is organic corporate the launching organic products in Indonesia. The innovation organic cosmetic,give impact on consumer behavior in increase the knowledge and perception of the products that can influence consumer purchase intentions.This research aims to analyze and discuss the influence of product knowledge and perception quality of product on organic cosmetics Melilea to purchase intentions. The type of this research is quantitative. The sampling technique that used was snawball sampling with sample size of 110 respondents. Statistics analysis used was multiple linear regression to know level of the influence.The results showed that the the influence of product knowledge and perception quality of product on purchase decision is 20.3% that value koefisian determination (adjusted R2), while the remaing 79.7% is influenced by other variables outside of research. In this study, dominant influence internet product knowledge with values is 0,291 while the perception quality of product variables with value is 0,122.

Abstract

 PT. Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) Surabaya is a companyengaged in the field of energy conversion industry, industrial machinery, and infrastructure industries. All business activities are based on the formation of work teams are formed according to the needs of the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of knowledge sharing, kerja tim, employee performance. Teamwork as well as the mediating role of knowledge sharing on the performance. Samples from this study were all employees totaling 84 people. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Model of Partial Least Square with the help of software SmartPLS 2.0 M3. The results of the study explains that knowledge sharing significant effect on the performance of employees, knowledge sharing significant effect on teamwork, teamwork significant effect on employee performance. kerja tim does not mediate the effect of knowledge sharing on the performance of employee
