Abstract

This reseach was focused on the implementation of management function in Darul Funun El-Abbasiyah Padang Japang’s Boarding School. This reseach used qualitative approach by conducting observation, interview, and documatation study. The school generally had done the function of management by applying planning, organizing, actuating and controlling function. Abstract

this study to analysis about which kind is the leader of Islamic boarding school station in restrainting quality of instituted under of it. That used in restraint method is feld research of yard restrain. From the resulf of research, we can take the conclution that is the leader of Islamic boarding school as spear for developing an instituted. To increase the school quality, the leader of Islamic boarding school should own good cleverness, and capable in developing new idea in order the institude afford to compete in globalization era and able to arrange organization inside it. The implication of this study is restrainting quality education if the holder of reins capable in performing the duty maximality.

Abstract

This research begins of MTsN Batusangkar ranked champion always gets the best madrasah in Tanah Datar, both in terms of teacher quality, student quality and performance improvement headmaster, this is evidenced by the many accomplishments achieved by the madrasah. Both at the distric until province. This research is a qualitative research. Sources of primary data in this study is the head master of MTsN Batusangkar. Secondary data sources in this research is the Deputy Head Master, Head of Administration, teachers and students MTsN Batusangkar Tanah Datar District. Data collected by observation, interview and and document. The Data collection is done by the following steps, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display that has been analyzed and conclusions.The results of this study were, Planning of Head Master MTsN Batusangkar as a supervisor in improving the quality of learning is to plan the preparation of the program in one semester or yearly. The program is not overly rigid, depending on the number of teachers who need to be supervised. And also make a list of useful checklist sheet to check the completeness of the administration of learning tools for teachers. The Head Master of MTsN implementation Batusangkar as a supervisor in improving the quality of learning is to conduct supervision of the implementation of education, that there are three forms of the implementation of educational supervision conducted by the Head MTsN Batusangkar namely planning, classroom observation and evaluation as individual talks, and a teachers' meeting. The evaluation forms of the Head MTsN Batusangkar as a supervisor in improving the quality of teaching is that through the stages of individual talks and a teachers' meeting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) principal supervision of teacher work satisfaction; (2) interpersonal communication of teacher work satisfaction; and (3) principal supervision and interpersonal communication of teacher work satisfaction. This research is expost facto that is research which aims to know influence of a variable to other variables. The population of this research is Elementary school teachers in Lima Kaum District as many as 153 people. The sampling using probability sampling technique, so the sample amounted to 60 people. The data collection is questionnaires and documentation. Testing the instrument with validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with prerequisite analysis test using normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test. The hypothesis test using partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (F test). The results are: (1) principal supervision did not affect of teacher job satisfaction; (2) interpersonal communication influenced of teacher work satisfaction; and (3) principal supervision and interpersonal communication (X2) together towards teacher work satisfaction. If the principal supervision is done well and interpersonal communication is done effectively will have a positive effect on the improvement of teacher work satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of religious culture applied in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung and how the principal in implementing religious culture. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. Informant research as many as 8 people. Data collection tools are researchers as key instruments and supporting instruments are interview guides, observation guides, field notes, and hp. Data collection techniques are participatory observation, in-depth interview and documentation study. Data analysis technique using Spradley (1980) model is doing domain analysis, carrying out taxonomic analysis, doing component analysis and doing theme analysis. Techniques of testing the validity of data using triangulation of data and methods. The results showed that starting planning, organizing, implementing and supervising religious programs such as Zuhr prayers in congregation, zikir and prayer, tadarrus al-qur'an, culture 5S, and infak and gebu program applied in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung, head the school always involves all the citizens of the school ranging from teachers, education personnel, school committees, and security guards. It is implemented by the school principal and the whole school community through chanting, habituation, giving advice (motivation), and the commemoration of Islamic day (PHBI). So that these religious activities can run well in SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung.

Abstract

Background of this research is the low achievement of instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter. The purpose of this research is to know the significance of correlation between instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.  This research is a descriptive research by using correlational method. Ex post facto. The hyphothesis of this research were: (1) is there any correlation between commitment toward instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter. (2) ) is there any correlation between motivation toward instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.  (3)  is there any correlation between commitment and motivation  toward instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.Population of this research were all of the instructors of National Police School (SPN) of West Sumatera Police Headquarter, they were 80 instructors.  Samples of this research were 60 person of the instructors.  Samples were taken by uing Slovin method. The data were analyzed by using Statistical Program for Social Studies (SPSS) 20 version. Based on the data analysis of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) the commitment of the instructors has a positive and significant correlation toward instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.  (2) the motivation of the instructors has no positive and no significant correlation toward instructors’ performance of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.  (3) both commitment (X1) and motivation (X2) have positive correlation toward performance (Y) of the instructors’ of National Police School of West Sumatera Police Headquarter.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of Inter-Personal Communication and Self- Concept to Teachers' Performance of Integrated Boarding School of Serambi Mekkah  of Padang Panjang. The studied variables are Interpersonal Communication and Self Concept as the  independent variables and Teachers'  Performance  as  the dependent variable. The respondents  of the  research are  54 teachers of Integrated Boarding School of Serambi Mekkah  of Padang Panjang. The specified sample is 48 people. Sampling is done by using Proportional Sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire, then analyzed by using Correlation Analysis and Regression technique to find out its contribution by using partial analysis. The results of the  data analysis revealed that: 1) Interpersonal Communication significantly influences the performance of teachers, 2) Self-Concept significantly influences the performance of teachers, and 3) interpersonal communication and self-concept simultaneously , and significantly influences the performance of teachers. From the above findings,  it can be concluded that the teachers' interpersonal communication and self-concept are  two important factors that can affect the performance of the  teacher, despite other factors contribution. Finally, it is  recommended to all parties in Integrated Boarding School of Serambi Mekkah  of Padang Panjang to give serious attention to both factors above.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is aimed to describe human resource management in Shuffah Hisbullah Natar, South Lampung. This research uses qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction measures, data display and conclucion. From the results of this study, 1) Analysis and design of the work has been done, 2) Recruitment process at Shuffah Hizbullah Pondok Pesantren started when the boarding school felt new additional needs, 3) Selection is done on prospective employees by looking at their competence, 4) Orientation or introduction in the cottage pesantren has been started in the last few years, 5) Human resources training held in boarding school and outside boarding school, 6) Planning and career development in Shuffah Hizbullah Pesantren has not been so planned. Keywords: management, human resources

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of professionalism and teacher motivation on teacher performance at SMAN 1 Pariangan, Tanah Datar. The research question is” is there any effect of professionalism and teacher motivation on teacher performance. There are 3 measuring tools in this research that is teacher professionalism, motivation, and teacher performance”. Data obtained from 35 responden who teach in SMAN 1 Pariangan. Researcher used questionnaire to gather the data for this research. For data analysis, researcher used descriptive and  multiple regression technique. Through multiple regression techniques that used for hypothesis testing, the results showed that professionalism seignificantly improved teacher performance, while motivation did not significantly influence teacher performance. In addition, if the two variables are processed simultaneously, it is found that professionalism along with motivation can improve teacher performance with value R2 equal to 55,8%. The value of β for professional variables on means performance is 0.479 which means that each increase in professionalism value by one point increases the teacher’s performance value by 0.479.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the headmaster efforts in improving the performance of teachers in the madrasas tarbiyah islamiyah jaho. This study user a qualitative method using fenomologi perspective. Data collection techniques such as observation, interviews adn documentation study. Subjec this study headmaster, administration and teacher of Madrasas Tarbiyah Islamiyah Jaho. As for test data by tringulasi, tchniques of data analysis with qualitative descriptive analysis. As for the result of this study Were (1) the efforts headmaster ini improving the performance of teacher in the field of lessin plans that inculde teacher Training or Training event and Activities MGMP. (2) efforts headmaster in improving teacher performance in the implementation of learning is that the Monitoring and Supervision with Supervision. (3) attempts headmaster in improving teacher performance evaluation in the field of learning that check book value of teacher and teacher analysis of Daily tests.
