Abstract

The use of technology in language learning today has brought quite a change to the development of language learning itself. This research aims to look at the role of axiology towards technology in language learning. Axiological studies of technology in language learning starting from the understanding of axiology as a branch of philosophy that studies values and evaluation. In general, axiology is one of the three main branches of philosophy, apart from epistemology and ontology. This research reveals the axiological urgency of technology in language learning. This research uses a literature study method and then looks at all the phenomena that appear in this study. Starting from the relevance of learning with technology in language learning, aesthetic values, ethical values and social values of technology in language learning, integration of technology in language learning, the relationship between axiology and learning motivation, the benefits and challenges of using technology in language learning. Technology and values should be balanced so that in the digital age, axiology serves as a guide to balance the use of technology with ethical values, ensuring that technology is used to support meaningful and responsible learning. The use of technology in language learning is very effective as long as it still applies good values in its application in learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in writing short story texts using project-based learning models in class XI.5 SMA IT Insan Cendekian Boarding School Payakumbuh. this research method is Classroom Action Research. The data of this study were collected using field notes, observations, interviews, test results, and documentary evidence in cycles I and II. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of project-based learning models can improve student learning outcomes in writing short story texts. This is evidenced by the increase in the completeness of learning outcomes in each cycle, in the pre-cycle student learning outcomes of 33%, cycle I of 56%, and in cycle II learning outcomes have reached 100%. The novelty of this research lies in the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model which is tailored to the specific needs of IT ICBS Payakumbuh High School students to improve learning outcomes in writing short story texts. Its contribution is to provide an alternative learning strategy that is effective and applicable in developing students' writing skills at the secondary school level

Abstract

This study outlines a strategic management approach to optimize the role of Guru Penggerak (Mobilizing Teachers) in enhancing education quality at SMAN 1 Sawahlunto, Indonesia. The study employs an exploratory qualitative methodology, incorporating data collection through interviews, documentation studies, and observations. Using SWOT analysis, the study examines internal and external factors influencing the implementation of Guru Penggerak programs. The findings reveal that leveraging Guru Penggerak strengthens school culture, fosters differentiated learning and develops superior student profiles. The novelty lies in its detailed framework for maximizing teacher contributions under the Independent Learning Program. This research contributes to educational transformation by offering actionable strategies for principals and policymakers to optimize teacher leadership, collaboration, and innovation.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the uniqueness of the curriculum management of Azzainiyyah High School which is under the auspices of Azzainiyyah Islamic Boarding School. The curriculum is an important component in the education system, recording the stages and procedures to achieve educational goals. The existence of pesantren as an educational institution is seen through the quality of its graduates. Curriculum management is designed as a reference to maintain and produce graduates who are in accordance with the planned objectives, integrating formal education and boarding school to produce students who excel in various aspects of life.This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The data collection method is through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used the Miles Hubarmen & Saldana model. The curriculum management of Azzainiyyah High School is designed based on the vision of the founders of the boarding school, with annual updates without changing the basic formulation. The curriculum integrates formal and boarding school education, adopting the distinctiveness of boarding schools that strengthen academic and spiritual learning. The main focus of the curriculum is to produce santri with four main competencies: high knowledge, Sufi character, independent life, and true leadership. These four competencies become the basic philosophy that shapes all educational units at Azzainiyyah Islamic Boarding School, designed to produce individuals who excel in various aspects of life, both academically, spiritually, and socially.

Abstract

Cooperation in the field of education is a form of multi-level cooperation between various parties involved in the world of education, including government, educational institutions, industry, and society. The main objective of this cooperation is to improve the quality and relevance of education throughout the region. The results of this study are the development plan for cooperation between schools and related agencies in Dharmasraya including: (1) Health: Sitiung Health Center through UKS to improve student health (2) Public Services: Dharmasraya Police through the "Hallo Pak Kapolres" program to improve interaction with the community (3) Environment: Dharmasraya Regency DLH to work together to clean the environment. (4) Literacy: Dharmasraya Regional Library and schools work together to add to the collection and foster a love of reading. The development plan for cooperation between schools and Sitiung Health Center, Dharmasraya Police, and Dharmasraya Regional Library can provide great benefits in increasing awareness of health, school environmental safety, and literacy among students.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of various special services at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Batusangkar, highlighting the importance of managing these services effectively. The aim of the study was to analyze the planning, implementation, and control of these special services. The research is field-based, using qualitative descriptive methods, which focus on describing the phenomena observed through narratives or descriptions as outlined by Sugiyono. Primary data was sourced from the Principal of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Batusangkar Kindergarten, while secondary data came from teachers and parents of the students. Data collection techniques involved observation and interviews, with qualitative analysis following the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study found that: (1) the planned services included Qur'an tutoring using the Iqra' and fluttering methods, memorization of hadith, selected prayers, and Juz 30 of the Qur'an, as well as activities like singing, dancing, painting, drawing, marching band, little doctor and little police training, parenting, and field trips. (2) The services were implemented according to the plan, with individual, group, and classical programs. The main challenge was the incomplete implementation of services in the second semester due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which required children to study from home. (3) The control of special services was effective, with the principal overseeing and evaluating all activities for their effectiveness.
