Journal of Fundamental Mathematics and Applications (JFMA) is an Indonesian journal published by the Department of Mathematics, Diponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia. JFMA has been published regularly in 2 scheduled times (June and November) every year. JFMA is established to highlight the latest update of mathematical researches in both theoretical and applied works. The scope in JFMA is pure mathematics and applied mathematics. Abstract

This research deals with the structure of cyclically pure injective modules over a commutative ring R. If I be an ideal of R, proved that any CP-injective R/Imodul is also CP-injective as an R-module. The main result of research is the existance of CP-injective R-module if there is an R-module. More over, we deal characterization of CP-injective module which is related to proper essential ctclically pure extension. It is shown that R-modul D is cyclically pure injective if and only if D has no proper essential cyclically pure extension.

Abstract

The Sentosa  Santul Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a group of women farmers in Dusun Santul, Kampar Utara District an is engaged in the field of food crops is chili. The Sentosa Santul Women Farmers group (KWT) uses 4 types of fertilizers for chili plant fertilization, namely hydro complex fertilizer, phonska, NPK Zamrud and goat manure.The KWT wants the minimum fertilizer cost but the nutrients in the plants are met. The method used in this research is the dual simplex method and the quick simplex method. The purpose of this study is to determine the minimum costs that must be incurred by the Womens Farmer Group (KWT) for fertilization using the dual simplex method and the quick simplex method to obtain an optimum and feasible solution. For the dual simplex method, the optimum and feasible solution were obtained using the Gauss Jordanelimination. While the quick simplex method, the solution is illustrated using a matrix to reduce the number of iterations needed to achieve the optimal solution. Based on the research result, it is found that the quick simplex method is more efficient than the dual simplex method. This can be seen from the number of iterations carried out. Dual simplex method iteration there are two iterations and quick simplex one iteration. The dual simplex method and the quick simplex method produce the same value.

Abstract

We are interested in study of the velocity (????′) and temperature (????) profiles for fluid flow over the surface of porous flat plate with the effect of magnetohydrodynamics. The dimensional equations are first transformed into the non-dimensional equations. Then, we transform the non-dimensional equations into the similar equations using stream functions. The numerical results are based on the discretization of similar equations using the finite difference method of Keller-Box. Based on the numerical results, the velocity profiles (????′) decrease when the viscoelastic parameter (????), Prandtl number (????????), magnetic parameter (????), porosity parameter (????) are increased. Moreover, the temperature profile (????) is increased when the viscoelastic parameter (????) and magnetic parameter (????) are increased. However, the temperature profile (????) decreases when Prandtl number (????????) and porosity (????) are increased.

Abstract

In this paper, we have defined an approachable function using a simple function on a compact sets. Furthermore the simple properties of the function was examined and it was obtained that measurable function, continuous function, and bounded function are approachable function along the function space is a linier space.

Abstract

We are discussed operator norms on spce of Dunford integral function. We show that for a function which Dunford integral, operator from dual space into space of Lebesgue integral  is a bounded linear operator. Furthermore, sets of all bounded linear operator is a linear space and it is a normed space by norm certain. Finally, the distance function generated by the norm is metrix space.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to apply the method to measure or evaluate the sampling quality of black tea in determining its category or class based on the spectrum of the sampled data. The number of the spectrum of the variable of data reduced by the Principal Components Analysis (PCA) method becomes a new variable that will be classified later by using K-Means Clustering method. This research use 120 sample of tea from Fanning II (F-II), Pekoe Fanning (PFANN), and Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings (BOPF) with 90 sample used for training and 30 sample used for validation. The method and the analysis used in this research gave effective and efficient performance in measuring/evaluating the quality of the black tea sample to determine its class as it showed that the accuracy of K-Means Clustering results is larger than 50%.

Abstract

Submodul prima gabungan pada (R,S)-modul telah mengalami perumuman menjadi submodul prima-? gabungan. Keprimaan pada suatu (R,S)-modul tidak terlepas dari radikal primanya. Di sisi lain, radikal prima tidak terlepas dari himpunan tertutup multiplikatifnya. Pada penelitian ini disajikan definisi himpunan tertutup multiplikatif pada (R,S)-modul relatif terhadap submodul prima-? gabungan, yang selanjutnya disebut himpunan sistem-??. Kemudian ditunjukkan bahwa himpuan sistem-?? merupakan komplemen dari suatu (R,S)-submodul prima-? gabungan. Selain itu, didefinisikan pula radikal prima-? gabungan pada (R,S)-modul dan disajikan pula beberapa sifatnya. Pada akhir penelitian ini ditunjukkan bahwa pada (R,S)-modul perkalian kiri ?, radikal prima-? gabungan dari irisan dua (R,S)-submodul di ? sama dengan irisan dua radikal prima-? gabungan dari masing-masing (R,S)-submodulnya.

Abstract

In a ring with involution, it is possible to collect elements that are commutative with elements obtained from the results of the involution operation on itself. Such elements are called normal elements. On other hand,  rings with  involution  have elements that have Moore Penrose inverse. Elements that have  Moore Penrose inverse are not always normal. This paper discusses the necessary and sufficient conditions for elements that have  Moore Penrose inverse  is normal. The method used is  determine  set of elements that have  Moore Penrose inverse. Then take  normal elements  and determine sufficient conditions. Investigate whether the sufficient condition is a necessary condition. If yes, we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition. If not, determine else sufficient conditions for can be added to obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease. This disease causes death and the world notes that Tuberculosis has a high mortality rate. A mathematical model of Tuberculosis with  two infection stages of individuals, pre infected and actively infected, is studied in this paper. The rate of treatment considered in this model. The stability analysis of the equilibrium is determined by the basic reproduction ratio. Routh Hurwitz linearization is used for investigate the local stability of uninfected equilibrium. While the global stability of endemic equilibrium is investigated by construct Lyapunov function. The effect of treatment in pre infected and actively infected stages can reduce the spread rate of Tuberculosis as shown in numerical simulation.
