Sa`id Nursi argues that nature and the environment have fixed principles that function to maintain the continuity of life while problems arise when the patterns of human environmental activity tend to contradict these principles so that life is threatened. This paper discusses the principles of ecology according to Sa`id Nursi as the basis for implementing the sustainable living agenda. Primary data of this qualitative study were obtained from Rasail al-Nurwhich was described as well as analyzed using a compare and contrast model with relevant environmental theories. The two findings of this study are that Nursi first built an ecological principle based on the tajalli principle of al-asma al-husna, namely cleansing (at-tandzif) the manifestation of al-Quddus, interdependence (at-tasanud) of al-Fard's manifestation, harmony (at-ta`awun) al-Fard, dynamic balance (at-iqtishad wa al muwawazanah) manifestation of al-hakim. Second, Nursi considers humans to be caliphs because they have the most perfect ecological elements in manifesting the attributes of Allah Almighty. Sa`id Nursi emphasized that the human community must maintain and implement this principle for the sustainability of the nature it occupies. The sustainability of life is directly proportional to the implementation of ecological principles.

Puritans Muslim -with a spirit of the Quran and Sunnah- made Islam in the time of Prophet Sawas an authentic and final model. Using a textual approach, they understand Islam rigidly so that all the features of Islam mixed with local locality (non-Arabic) are considered to be viruses and must be sterilized to get pure. In contrast to moderate Muslims, though both of them are in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah, they are not using a textual approach but contextualist or even philosophical. Islam at the time of the Prophet saw was viewed by moderate Muslims as a historic and dialectical Islam with socio-cultural society, because they understand Islam flexibly. With different approaches in the return movement in the Quran and Sunnah, the two Islamic epistemes are different, as seen in the issue of women's position. In the history, Puritan Muslims often use violence in the name of religion to defend and spread its ideology. The above study is based on historical study with descriptive-qualitative approach.

A Religion has strong influence on humanity, morality, ethics, and aesthetics in the process of humankind development. This of course, will construct the worldview individually and socially as well. It may be said that nearly all the social life haven’t been ignored the role of religion in the making humanity as an expression of the whole of collective life. Therefore the religious spirit is also in constant change, which formulated in a certain theology in line with the historical progress contextually. In addition, theology is a discourse through which believers develop and express the content of their faith as they have confessed it. The notion of this article tries to elaborate the contextualization of Islamic Theology in Indonesia in respecting to the social phenomena such as colonialism, oppression, human right, and pluralism in Indonesia. It also gives paradigmatic contribution to interpret the Secret text on historical situation in order to determine public morality more than just individual morality. The main points are a searching of meaning between “text” and context in Indonesia society as manifestation of Islamic contextual theology. It means that Islam should be “translated” in particular way in order may “come down to earth” and meet in the contemporary demands. Keywords: Islam, contextual-transformative theology, human right, Indonesia

This article discusses of circulation processes and dissemination of radicalism ideas at the Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN) Makassar. Thisarticle uses a qualitative research method that seeks to interpret and describe patterns of radicalism infiltration strategies. In order to achieve that goals, the study used survey that has been followed by three hundred and fifty respondents from all faculty of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN) which took place from January to May 2019. The survey used questioner with multiple choice questions pattern. The results showed that there was a split view and contesting concept among students between accepting Pancasila and the idea of the Islamic state. The very sensitive political issues of political Islam circulated inadequately in UIN Alauddin Makassar. Therefore, the radical ideas will easily infiltrate the minds of students using lip service and manipulation of sensitive Islamic political teachings. The Campus mosque is the most vulnerable area to be used as a platform for spreading radical ideas. The radical forum is usually camouflaged in an ordinary-teaching form, which makes it difficult for students to identify. The case that occurred in UIN Alauddin Makassar could be occurred in other Islamic universities and colleges in Indonesia.

The diversities becomes the reason for some of the people to oppress a person or group which different with them. This conflict often occurs in religious life. Even this conditions are occurring in the internal of Muslim too. Sometimes, the existence of various flow, madhab and Islamic organizations make Muslims fragmented and inevitably claim one another. The truth claim and political interests with the power of the mass aggravating the internal conflict. Chide each other, blaming and misleading people or groups become routines that we often encounter. By using a qualitative approach in the form of literature studies (Library Research) we will find that the internal conflicts of Muslims are both historical products and heritage caused by political interests, as well as differences in religious understanding. As long as the ego, political interests, and fanaticism still exist, the differences that exist between Muslims are very difficult to unite. Conflicts can be resolved if there is consensus to respect each other and maintain good relations by promoting a spirit of unity and prioritizing the interests of religion. This research is expected to be an input in designing efforts to resolve internal conflicts of Muslims.
