The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

This article examines the life and scientific heritage of Ali Qushji, a major figure of the Timurid Renaissance, astronomer, and mathematician, as well as his role in developing diplomatic and cultural relations between Central Asia and the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. The relocation to Istanbul of Ali Qushji, a loyal disciple of Ulugh Beg and director of the Samarkand Observatory, not only facilitated the exchange of science between the two regions but also laid the foundation for the formation of the Ottoman observatory and madrasa systems. Based on archival sources and historical data, the paper analyzes the impact of his works, such as "Al-Fathiyya" and "Al-Muhammadiyya," on the global science of that era, as well as how his personality served as a mutual diplomatic bridge between the Timurids and the Ottomans. Furthermore, numerous works of Ali Qushji and the views expressed about him by various scholars are presented.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence-assisted personalized learning is becoming an important direction in modern education. AI systems can analyze learner performance, provide immediate feedback, adapt task difficulty, and support self-paced learning. This article examines the effectiveness of AI-assisted personalized learning based on real empirical studies, including randomized controlled trials and large-scale evaluations. The findings show that AI-supported learning can improve student outcomes when it is pedagogically designed, aligned with curriculum goals, and supported by teachers. However, successful implementation depends on teacher readiness, learner motivation, data privacy, system accuracy, and equal access. The article argues that AI should not replace teachers, but should serve as a tool to support diagnosis, feedback, and differentiated instruction.

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the pedagogical content, organizational forms, teaching methods, and instructional tools associated with simulation technologies in the educational process. Simulation technologies create an artificial, controlled, and interactive learning environment that reproduces real-life objects, professional situations, processes, and problems. Their application enables students to acquire theoretical knowledge through practical activity, develop professional competencies, make independent decisions, analyze the consequences of their actions, and safely repeat complex operations. The article explains the didactic characteristics of simulation-based learning, including interactivity, modeling, professional orientation, feedback, variability, visualization, and learner autonomy. Individual, pair, group, classroom-based, laboratory-based, distance, blended, and project-based forms of organizing simulation activities are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to problem-based learning, case studies, role-playing, scenario-based learning, virtual experimentation, algorithmic training, reflective analysis, and collaborative problem-solving.

Abstract

This article examines the derivational potential of the concept name mother in the Korean and Uzbek languages. The aim of the study is to identify universal and culture-specific patterns in the derivational potential of the concept name mother and to determine the cultural models underlying its linguistic representation. The research material consists of derivative formations based on the Korean lexemes 어머니 and 모(母), as well as the Uzbek lexeme ona. The study employs derivational, componential, comparative, and linguocultural methods of analysis. The findings demonstrate that the derivational field of the concept mother in Korean exhibits a dual-core structure based on the interaction between the native Korean lexeme 어머니 and the Sino-Korean root 모(母), whereas in Uzbek a single-core derivational nest is formed around the lexeme ona. The analysis reveals that Korean derivational patterns predominantly reflect kinship, origin, and family hierarchy, while Uzbek derivational models emphasize emotional-evaluative and moral-axiological meanings. Based on the obtained results, two types of derivational conceptualization of motherhood are identified: the structural-hierarchical type and the axiological-emotional type.
