The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

Fish and fish products are among the essential dietary foods that are highly beneficial for the human body and occupy an important place in the human diet. It is well known that fish meat differs from the meat of other animals in that it is easily and rapidly digested by the human body. Fish meat is rich in vitamin D, which helps maintain the normal metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the human body. It also prevents rickets in young children and even in animals kept indoors during the late autumn and winter months, and plays a significant role in the treatment of patients suffering from this disease. In addition, fish unsuitable for human consumption, as well as fish obtained from the waste products of fish-processing enterprises, serve as valuable additives that enrich the feed ration of agricultural animals and poultry with various proteins and vitamins.

Abstract

Abstract—This paper explores the rapid evolution of Uzbek digital communication under the influence of global internet platforms (Telegram, Instagram, YouTube) and computer-mediated communication (CMC) technologies. Relying on computer-mediated discourse analysis (CMDA) and cognitive-pragmatic frameworks, we examine how graphic-orthographic shifts (emojis, punctuation duplication, spelling intentional errors), lexical developments (neologisms, loanwords, abbreviations), and syntactic alterations (ellipsis, parceling, agrammatism) manifest in Uzbek online writing. The data corpus of 1,500 user posts and comments reveals that these variations are not merely structural deviations or language decay, but functional strategies driven by the principle of linguistic economy and the pragmatic need to express stance, affect, and social identity in a non-verbal digital space. Furthermore, we trace the historical and cognitive roots of graphical communication, emphasizing the role of Unicode standardization and emoji pragmatics. The study concludes that Uzbek internet discourse represents a dynamic, hybrid speech system that bridges the gap between formal writing and spoken interactions.

Abstract

The article provides a comparative study of the principle of politeness in address forms between Uzbek and English languages. This research has been conducted in accordance with P Brown and S.Levinson`s “face saving acts ” and G.Leech`s politeness Maxims . The article also analyzes address terms, illustrating their manifestation in formal, informal situations from lexical-semantic and linguopragmatic points of view. The study takes a deeper look at key major sociopragmatic factors, such as age, gender, social status, and social distance in selecting address forms. The findings reveal that while English address terms expose minimal social status differentiation, in Uzbek culture, address systems rely mainly on the active use of relationship terms and honorific conventions.
