The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

This article examines innovative strategies for developing corporate culture among future preschool education specialists. In the context of rapid expansion and modernization of preschool education in Uzbekistan, the professional preparation of future educators requires more than subject knowledge and pedagogical techniques. It also requires corporate culture competence: the integrated ability to understand, share, reproduce, and improve the values, norms, communication styles, ethical standards, and innovation practices of an educational organization. The study is designed as a conceptual and documentary review supported by secondary statistical analysis. It draws on organizational culture theory, competence-based education, early childhood education quality research, and current data on the preschool education sector in Uzbekistan. The results show that corporate culture competence can be structured around six interrelated components: value-ethical orientation, institutional identity, communication and collaboration, innovation readiness, legal-administrative literacy, and reflective self-regulation. Based on these components, the article proposes a set of innovative strategies: values-based onboarding, project-based learning, simulation and role-play, practicum partnerships, digital portfolios, peer mentoring, service learning, learning communities, and competency-based assessment. The article argues that these strategies should be integrated into university curricula, teaching practice, and institutional partnerships with preschool organizations in order to prepare future specialists for child-centered, inclusive, ethical, collaborative, and innovation-ready professional environments.

Abstract

This article investigates the convergence of artistic thinking and stream-of-consciousness technique in the short fiction of William Faulkner, one of the foremost American modernists, and Nazar Eshonqul, a prominent contemporary Uzbek prose writer. Drawing on the theoretical frameworks of modernist poetics and cognitive narratology, the study conducts a close comparative analysis of selected short stories to examine how both authors deploy interior monologue, temporal fragmentation, non-linear narrative, sensory layering, and psychological depth to construct subjective realities. While Faulkner channels the traumatic memory of the American South through Freudian-inflected consciousness, Eshonqul employs philosophical introspection rooted in Eastern thought, mysticism, and the existential tensions of post-Soviet Uzbek identity. Despite the geographical and cultural distance between these two literary traditions, the article identifies remarkable structural and aesthetic parallels in their treatment of consciousness as a narrative medium. The findings contribute to ongoing cross-cultural dialogue between Western modernism and contemporary Uzbek literature, demonstrating that the stream-of-consciousness technique transcends its Euro-American origins to function as a universal vehicle for artistic thinking.

Abstract

This article explores the cross-cultural pragmatic mechanisms through which traditional gender stereotypes are systematically deconstructed and re-codified within English, Russian, and Uzbek digital media spaces. Drawing on John Searle’s taxonomy of speech acts and Stephen Levinson’s generalized conversational implicature, the study evaluates how user-generated micro-texts operate as active instruments of social change. Rather than treating these digital streams as passive reflections of culture, this analysis fosters a deeper understanding of how extreme textual density accelerates shifts in collective gender roles through strategically coordinated macro-structures.

Abstract

The article analyzes the functional-semantic features of case-marking devices in Japanese and Uzbek. In Uzbek, case relations are mainly expressed by affixal suffixes, whereas in Japanese they are realized through case particles such as が, を, に, へ, で, と, から, より, and まで. The paper emphasizes that case markers function not only as grammatical indicators but also as units that organize discourse situation, predicate semantics, theme-rheme relations and semantic equivalence in translation.

Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of strategic management of enterprises in the context of digital transformation. The impact of digital technologies on enterprise activities, their role in the strategic management process, and their significance in enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises are examined. Furthermore, the opportunities and challenges arising in the process of digital transformation are analyzed, and proposals for overcoming them are presented. Within the scope of the study, the strengths and weaknesses of enterprises, existing opportunities, and potential threats are assessed based on a SWOT analysis.

Abstract

This article examines the pragmatic functions of elliptical sentences in dialogic speech and the challenges associated with their translation between English and Uzbek. The study identifies key pragmatic functions including illocutionary force expression, speech act performance, politeness strategies, emotional expression, and dialogic cooperation. Through comparative analysis of dialogic utterances in both languages, the paper explores translation strategies and their effectiveness in preserving pragmatic equivalence. The research reveals that while English and Uzbek share similar structural patterns in elliptical constructions, Uzbek elliptical sentences often carry deeper cultural, religious, and emotional connotations. The study proposes a framework for selecting appropriate translation strategies based on text type, target audience, and translation purpose. The findings contribute to cross-cultural pragmatics and translation studies, offering practical recommendations for translators and language educators.

Abstract

Abstract.This article examines the mechanisms of the verbal representation of cultural concepts in different languages from the perspective of comparative linguoculturology. The study analyzes the ways in which national cultural values, mental models, and conceptual structures are reflected in lexical, phraseological, paremiological, and onomastic units across various languages. Particular attention is paid to the interaction between language and culture as interrelated semiotic systems that shape the national worldview. Based on a comparative analysis, the study identifies both universal patterns of conceptualizing reality and nationally specific features of the linguistic representation of cultural meanings.

This article states that the illocutionary goal is a phenomenon that motivates the formation of the content of a specific speech act, that the illocutionary goal is manifested depending on the situation and becomes a source of determining the communicative content of this event (communicative implicature), that the illocutionary goal expressed through the advice speech act is based on the desire to encourage the interlocutor to perform a certain action, and that there is a positive evaluation component in its content.

Abstract

Abstract. This article examines the case systems of the Russian and Uzbek languages from a comparative perspective. It analyzes the principal similarities and differences in the expression of case meanings, which arise from the typological distinction between Russian as an inflectional language and Uzbek as an agglutinative language. Particular attention is paid to the translation challenges encountered when rendering Russian case forms into Uzbek and vice versa. The study discusses methods of translating the Russian instrumental, prepositional, and genitive cases and identifies the most common errors made by Uzbek-speaking learners of Russian. The findings demonstrate that the successful translation of case constructions requires consideration not only of grammatical form but also of semantic meaning and contextual usage.
